I enjoy the fact that they are a smaller operation, and as a result of that can offer more personalized service, in my opinion. For the past 3 years running, they have provided regular lawn service, including mowing and weed whacking. They also helped adjust the mowing schedule to work around my lawn aeration and reseeding this past summer. Also they've done a couple of other specialized things for me, most recently including a tree removal. Fall of 2025, they offered snow removal in addition to the lawn service. Based on the weather so far this year, I've gotten lucky. They have been here multiple times, plowing my driveway in spite of some special needs. ( Curb stones, anyone?). I needed an emergency plow during one of the December snowstorms, when my mother was taking to the hospital. Joe literally was in my driveway less than 10 minutes after I called to make sure that I was able to get out and get to the hospital. Can't say enough good things. Is it the cheapest service in the area? No (with an asterisk*). It's a little bit more than what you pay a larger company, emphasis on the little, but in my opinion, I'm getting much more personalized service. For the fall / winter of 2025 2026, they've added plowing to their resume. It's the first year, so sometimes growing pains might be expected. With the heavier snowfall this year, more than once they've been to my residence multiple times in a single day to plow my driveway out. No apology, no explanation - NO REFUND. THEY TOOK OUR MONEY AND DISAPPEARED. Myself and another family live 3,000 miles away from our daughters who were college freshman and we were completely reliant upon this company. And they just left the girls waiting for them at 10am, boxes packed and ready to go at the agreed upon date and time. The girls had to move out of their dorms into a storage unit and get on flights home as it was the end of the semester. We paid a 50% deposit and created/executed a contract. The day before the move I called Jorge and he said that he had poor reception and he would call me back. To this day, I have never heard from him or anyone from this company. We had to scramble to find another company! It was awful and very expensive to remedy. Even now, we are still extremely upset and at the very least we would like our money back! An explanation or an apology would also be appreciated.

Got sick from major mold issue in my condo. A laboratory report on an air sample showed…read moreextraordinary amounts of toxic mold in the air within the condo. Had to throw out furniture because of the problem. Reported the issue to my insurance company. They hired Mr Rockwell to issue an assessment report the mold was "incidental" and needed no (insurance covered) mold Remediation. Meanwhile, the mold in the air was bad enough to force the doctor to prescribe 3 antibiotics to get me past the dark spot on my lungs X-Ray showed. Do not hire him. I doubt he knows what the word "ethic's even means. Just to let you know, another licensed mold remediator came in before Mr Rockwell, after the first mentioned report showed dangerous levels ofold contamination, give me a $17,000 Remediation estimate. Does tell Mr Rockwell's indication to the insurance company (WHO OAID HIM FOR HIS REPORT to deny me benefits of the policy) was at the very least incorrect in his reported assessment that the mold issue was "incidental " only!!?!

First I was quoted a completely different price on both the visit and then asked for the owner Scott Rockwell, that works solo to check with the lab how much it would cost to send them air samples ($30) and tape samples ($20).. because I'm a single mom and haven't worked since my little son was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. I made it really clear that i needed prices before i commit to anything because of my financial situation - long story short all of a sudden the $50 home visit that was promised became $104 and the lab charges from the Rockwell statement were now $177 - totaling now from what originally was discussed 2/3 of this price. I decided to call the lab and ask how much they charged for my tests.. they said each air sample was $30 ( i had 2) and my tape sample was $20. Totaling in $80 not $176 as billed plus labor charges that were doubled. When I confronted scott he went on about how it was impossible to quote me those lab prices because apparently my tests were super expensive - lies. My $180 bill grew to $277... he denies this.. also told me if I pay now he will reduce the bill by $100. When I stated that I first wanted an explanation of these new and fabricated charges, he threatened me into collections - next morning I paid my full amount - this guy is a crook. Stay far away from him. Not only is he really unprofessional, he's rude, lacks communication skills and cheats people out of money.

My plow person never showed up at any point during the storm we have had over the past few days and my landlord wouldn't return my calls. Almost 10 inches of snow and sleet and tonight it is supposed to all freeze over. I found NB Snowplowing on yelp, called and he was at my place within 45 minutes, clearing up my driveway. And he was even wonderful enough to shovel my walkway. If you are in the area, I would highly recommend NB Snowplowing and am going to recommend to my landlord that he switch his contracted service next year to them.
