The quality of the fabric and clothing is exceptional. I love to stop in here as they always have new things coming in. Right now they have their summer things on 60% off to get ready for fall. It is so hard to find boutiques that carry plus sized clothes that are of good quality, so I am happy here. Leera boutique has the plus sized items in the back racks, ask and they will direct you. I've brought many friends, family and coworkers there as well to give 5.11 business. But let me tell you! I don't know what happened to this store and how they pick their staff now, but they are absolute trash. Ever since the old store manager left this store has hired the worst people and the store always looks like crap. The old manager had this location looking good, fully stocked and her team was on point and very professional. They lost the true face of 5.11 on that one. I recently went to this 5.11 location on Friday March 28th with my family to see if things changed and I was reminded for the final time why I will NEVER return again. The guy in the front said something when we walked in and never said another peep or offered to assist with anything at all the whole time we were there. That's not even what bothered me. What made me absolutely livid was when the female worker blew my father off mid-sentence when he was asking her a question about their sale and said "It just depends" with a snarky attitude and TURNED HER BACK ON HIM AND WALKED TO THE BACK OF THE STORE. I almost lit her up. I'm done with 5.11 once and for all and I know deep down many others are as well. Shame on this company for allowing such people to work there and for allowing such an environment.

We ended up buying a couple of small items and 2 outfits for our daughter, but being as it is still Nordstrom's, I found a lot of items were pretty pricy. I did like looking through all of their items though and would definitely come back, but I think my budget prefers Home Goods and TJ Maxx. A gentleman greeted me in the Men's section and asked if I needed help - he was kind while we chatted and brought me to the dressing room. That's the main reason this isn't a one star review. I was met by a tailor that measured my chest only and told me a number. I was confused, so I asked if they could do out seam or any other measurements, and explained that I called ahead to confirm I could get detailed measurements for a wedding suit rental. I even asked if I could pay. The tailor scoffed at me, shrugged, and said she couldn't help me. I get why they do it. It's been awhile since my involvement in a wedding but I walked into a big box store in the past (that wasn't associated with the wedding party) and they helped no questions asked. I'm going to assume it's a store or upper management policy Maybe the employee on the phone misunderstood my question, but the real issue was the dismissive nature from the tailor like I should know better. This location is actually a lot cleaner and more organized than other locations which was nice! It is located off of Marconi Ave in the same shopping center as Trader Joe's and Five Below. They had a ton of wrapping paper and lots of great items for stocking stuffers and White Elephant gifts. I love finding random items that I never knew I needed! I bought around 8 items for under $60 so it was definitely a good deal! Staff were friendly and the check out line moved quickly!

I opened a cologne to smell it before making a purchase decision, and he immediately told me, in a rude tone, that if I was going to smell it, I needed to buy it. I politely explained that I wouldn't want to purchase a cologne without knowing whether I liked the scent, but he responded by saying, "You're just going to have to buy it to find out." Throughout the interaction, he came across as aggressive, hostile, and unwelcoming, which made for a very uncomfortable shopping experience. Because of the way I was treated, I left the store and went to Ulta next door, where I received much better customer service. I ended up purchasing the cologne there, along with another one as a graduation gift for my cousin. As a result of this experience, I will not be returning to this location. I would strongly encourage management to address customer service concerns, as shoppers should not feel harassed or intimidated while simply trying to make a purchase decision.
