When this location opened, I was so excited it's closer to home and such a wonderful space outside now that they have brunch. I can't wait to try that as I usually only grab coffee and baked goods to go. They do get busy because the food is so worth it. We have sat in and ate some food but not done brunch yet at bread and butter, which is their brunch. They also offer after hours on Fridays, which I'm looking forward to trying as well.

Gourmet - by every definition. Highly recommended! Absolutely fresh, quality ingredients, clean food, delicious and well crafted meals. Whats more, they have visually gorgeous baked goods. Like magazine cover worthy. This is not a diner, this is a chef-led dining and bakery Experience with a blend of bakery and restaurant. Everything we ordered was made fresh for us, in good time, and delivered hot and crunchy or soft and savory to the table. Our Saturday brunch meal started with soft pumpkin mini muffins and whipped spice butter. These were baked fresh and so tasty. I ordered the Shakshuka croissant and my husband had the Steak and Eggs omelet. Both portions were generous, each with additions of flavorful ingredients and interesting blends of spices, textures, and mouth feel. We ordered the mimosa flight and enjoyed blends of all the add-ins to make classic and new combinations. The champagne was tasty and not cheap; we easily could drink that on its own. The restaurant has so much great, natural lighting coming in from a series of large windows and industrial glass garage roll up doors that make up the walls. The golden flatware is elongated and classy, the dark royal blue napkins are lovely and add an on-brand pop of color to the dark wood tables and white cream plates. Short waits or feel free to call in reservations. Polite and attentive staff, and even the owners walk around helping out and greeting patrons, keeping the whole place running smoothly.

I had been hearing about Auspicious for so long and was so excited that they opened a location on Whitemarsh Island. The location itself is very cool. I love that you can see them baking and the outdoor area is awesome. However, I was super disappointed with the actual food. My family and I went for brunch and ordered the giant cinnamon roll and the biscuits and gravy. Everything was so cold. The cinnamon roll would've tasted amazing if it had been warmed. The biscuits and gravy would've improved if they had been warmed but still wouldn't have tasted great. I have asked several people about their experience as well and child food is a common complaint. Such a bummer!

For pastries and ham and cheese croissants for breakfast. Would have done brunch but wait was 1.5 hrs however we learned you can make reservations which is good for future attempts. Great ambiance with plenty of seating and great views onto the marsh. Will definitely return when here. Favorites: hand and cheese croissants; chocolate cupcake; almond cinnamon roll; bread pudding, least favorite was blueberry scone which was too much like a thick biscuit. Overall it was delicious and we will definitely recommend to others and return.

Gluttony got the best of me and this is probably the best thing I have ever eaten. The staff were fast kind and incredibly patient while I took my time deciding. My family also said their desserts were some of the best they have ever had. Truly amazing experience from start to finish can't wait to come back

You must try this place. The bakery and restaurant are amazing! For the restaurant, I highly recommend making a reservation, everything we tried on the menu was fantastic. For the bakery, weekends are busy! You'll probably have to wait, but it's well worth it. Also, everyone there is so friendly! Coffee is good and every bakery item is fresh, delicious, and there is soooo many options!

I had the opportunity to check out the new brunch spot Bread and Butter, by the owners of Auspicious bakery. Instantly from the door, you can see how they still keep the Auspicious bakery going, and then at the back of the house you walk into the Bread and Butter brunchery. The decor is super cute, light and airy, with beautiful views of the marsh along with ample parking available. You can instantly see the owners walking around greeting customers and helping out when needed. The inclusiveness of the Auspicious bakery items made the breakfast items go a long way. I had what you would think was a general BLT, but the delicious buttery croissant along with the fresh homemade bacon just put it over the top, but they also had some type of aïoli sauce which was just delicious. I don't even like tomatoes, but it was so delicious and flavorful. They also provided muffins for the table with a dollop of butter, and it was amazing again I don't even like blueberries, and I was taken back by the little granola crunch that they put on top. Everyone in my party was thrilled by everything that they received from the iced coffee to the donuts for the table, the muffins along with their meals. I had a few picky eaters in my party, and everyone really enjoyed every item that they had I will definitely be back. From my understanding they now have their alcohol license so I would definitely like to see what options they are going to have on their bar menu for brunch.

Beautiful pastries. Very friendly and attentive staff. Definitely a destination, but worth it. Family member enjoys the vegan options.

Open only until 2:00 PM, if you're looking for breakfast, brunch or lunch, this is the place to be. Arriving at just about noon, the place was packed, but not unpleasantly so, with customers that quickly moved through the ordering process, past the register, and to the ample seating, of their own choosing (with limited outdoor seating available; but not preferable at the time, due to the spotty showers that also choose to attend). Beverages are provided as payment is being made, leaving no thirst unquenched. Needless to say, seating is immediate. With a cup of rich, flavorful, house blend coffee in hand, my daughter, Son in Law, and I found a seat with a great view of the market activities happening outside only moments before our meals were served. The Italian Panini, chock full of succulent mildly spicy meats and lettuce, covered proportionately with dressing (yes, I was given my own bite size sample) , was my daughter's choice; a visually appealing (although not personally sampled) breakfast platter was the pick of the day for my Son in Law; and, Salmon BLT, composed of one thick, juicy piece of salmon, bursting with flavor, accented by a slice of smokey bacon atop a crisp bed of lettuce, slathered in a mild, but tasty, mustard based sauce, between two halves of a soft , flakey, croissant that more than rivaled the size of an average hamburger bun, was my choice. It did not disappoint. At just under $45.00, before tip, all of this seemed like a bargain. If there could be a downside to this experience, and I would say there couldn't be, it would be that, when visiting Savanah, choosing the place to eat jus became a bit more difficult, with Goose Feathers now in contention.
