Their products were cheaper than an earlier competitor we had just stopped in to see. There is something to be said about the family business and Quality Floor Covering does it right. They saved us around $1000 in materials and installation. Carpet was installed today with the pet padding and it is so much nicer than we could have seen with the sample provided. The estimator was super nice, courteous, friendly, forthright, and on time. Carpet padding had to be ordered and it arrived early and installation happened today. The installers were great! They were on time, quick with removal and extremely detailed in their installation. Our carpet is FABULOUS! We are beyond pleased with our investment and if we move to another home or have one built - Quality Floor Coverings will be doing the installation. Period. None of the big box stores could come close, none of the competitors we received quotes from could match their perfect marriage of quality and value. THE BEST IN CLARKSVILLE!

When I walked into their store, right away I felt the customer service rep was curt and borderline rude. No big deal I moved forward only to learn it was going to be the same rep coming to my house to measure. My wife handled the measurement appointment and without me asking she said the woman was borderline rude. We still proceeded and placed the order. They required $3,046 as a down payment on a total purchase of $3,500. We were told the carpet would be ready by March 15th, two months from order. Supply chain slow down, so be it. When March 1st came around I called the company to make sure we were on track. Same rep emailed me that it will now be April 15th. No sorry for the delay, sorry for the inconvenience, nothing. Today, being near by, I walked into the store to check on the April 15th date only to be told it's now May 15th. At the point of frustration, I expressed my displeasure with the lack of proactive communication. The previous rep I dealt with was not there but the representatives that were there were compassionate to my situation and were very helpful. Together we looked for an alternate choice but opted to come back with my wife in two days. As the helpful rep handed me her business card a man came out from the back of the store. He immediately began to defend the company's communication procedures because he overheard my frustrations which had been put to rest 20 minutes prior. I was completely taken back by the manner in which this person was talking to me only for him to reveal he was the owner of the company. I too am a business owner and would never talk to a customer this way. In fact I said "gone are the days the customer is always right". He was so defensive and rude that I asked for my money back. This resulted in several hours of extra labor and hundreds of dollars to cut into our home to accommodate the bigger door. They didn't offer a discount for this mistake. I cannot recommend this company, both from a customer service aspect and a simple measuring aspect.
