Words can't begin to express how grateful I am for Marwa and the rest of the PE team! I have a lot of trust issues when it comes to my baby, but with the PE Training team I never once felt unsteady leaving him with them. I enrolled my XL bully, Guapo, into their puppy day training and we focused on his loose leash training. They are so accommodating when it comes to working with my busy work schedule. We're 2 months into working with Marwa and there's been a drastic change in our walks. No more pulling, no more trying to jump on people and other dogs to say hi! Thank you so much PE team for educating me and also setting my Guapo up for success. I'm so excited to continue having him work on his training!

I brought in my 2 year old Olde English Bulldog for help with leash training and walking as he would pull me like a ragdoll and attempt to lunge and bark at everyone and every dog. they trialed a lead which he ignored and introduced the prong training and he has taken to it so well. Leo is able to be redirected and walks next to me, which has lead to way more peaceful and less stressful walks. I have been able to introduce the same principles to my other bulldog and I am so happy to say, it is going well. thank you so much!

Marwa and her team are incredible! Go here if you want a well-mannered dog. We had a stubborn corgi puppy in fall 2020, and at the time Positive Energy was the only place accepting older puppies. We started at a weekend social, had a consultation day, and purchased the VIP package within a week's time. After her first day of school, Remi never nipped heels again, and her barking was reduced SO much. We can't recommend the VIP package enough! The private training and unlimited access to puppy socials are essential. Your pup will get individualized training, and we loved the report cards at the end of the day. We were afraid we'd never be able to trust Remi alone at home, and by the end of training it wasn't even a concern. She even gets along with our cats! We get so many comments complimenting how well behaved Remi is, especially for a corgi. We can't thank Positive Energy enough!

This place has been the best thing for my dogs! All the trainers are great and the best part is my dogs love them. They have helped with the one that needed a bit of training. Brittany and Sam have been a big help for me and my 3 kids.

I'm a first time pet owner and Positive Energy Dog Training has been a essential tool in the home training of our puppy. Every time I make contact with one of the staff, we walk away with a lesson. Our pup had a nipping problem when we first brought him home and it's now no longer an issue. Our puppy loves the day training and it's a great way for him to get out all of his energy for the day. The weekend socials are perfect for any dog needing more interaction with other pups. Our puppy is the most social fur ball ever thanks to PEdogtraining.

Both of my dogs have done training there, starting when they were just a few months old. They are very warm and friendly trainers who clearly care about the dogs and have done a great job with my goofballs.

Positive Energy Dog Training has changed our lives and the lives of our pup in the best possible way ever!. Our rescue dog (who weighs over 80 pounds and is very strong) did not speak English and didn't know her name when she came to us. She was so difficult to walk because she was so strong that I had to use two leashes! I have been training my own dogs for the past 20 years, but this pup was too big, strong, willful and distracted for me to even know where to begin. I turned to PE Dog Training for emergency help with her. After only a few sessions with PE dog training, our dog was completely obedient, gentle with other dogs, knew her name, was able to control herself in all situations and she became a very polite well mannered dog. I was amazed! The personalized attention, 1:1 consultations and "Doggy Report Cards" after ever day training session was top-notch. I knew that PE Dog Training knew my dog specifically and worked with her on a 1:1 basis, even though there were many other dogs in the group too. I highly recommend PE dog training as the place for any dog who needs help. Thank you Nick & Sam and Marwa and all of the delightful staff members and trainers. Applause to you All for your hard work and great effort.

Marwa and her team are phenomenal, we have an anxious/impulsive rescue pitty and they took him in and have been incredible with him. Marwa immediately saw past his bark and saw him for the big goofball he is, with their help he has made massive improvements in his general training and his comfort level around other dogs and humans. We honestly have no clue how we would've survived without them. They always go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure their pups are thriving, comfortable and happy, we cannot recommend them enough! Thank you guys for all you do for us and Marty!

I live in Manteca and have a one year old Shiba Inu. She is very timid and anxious most of the time, loud noises especially scare her. She will only go on walks for a short amount of time because she doesn't like all the stimulation. Can u help?

She was quiet and a bit confused in those early days, and we honestly didn't know what "normal" even looked like. We started working with Jared literally the day after we brought her home, and that made all the difference. What stood out right away is that he doesn't just train the dog, he helps you understand your dog's psychology. That shift was huge for us. Instead of guessing or reacting, we started to feel like we actually knew what she needed and how to respond. He guided us through the basics like potty training and getting her to sleep through the night, and once those clicked, life got dramatically easier. More importantly, he gave us a framework we can keep using as new challenges come up. Our puppy still has some separation anxiety and can be a bit needy, but now it feels manageable. We're making steady, incremental progress and feel confident we have the tools to keep going. Jared has also been great with our whole family. He builds trust quickly, explains things clearly, and makes everyone feel comfortable and capable. You never feel judged or overwhelmed. If you're a first-time dog owner, especially with a young puppy, I'd strongly recommend working with him early. It sets the right foundation and saves you a lot of stress down the line.

One thing that stood out to me is how much emphasis he puts on teaching *us* how to communicate with our dogs effectively, which makes the results stick long-term. Now, we're able to host gatherings without worry, and the difference in their behavior is night and day. It's been such a relief to see them more relaxed and balanced. The progress we've made feels huge, and it's all thanks to Jared's thoughtful and practical training style. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for real, lasting change.

She also crate trained him in a way that felt calm, structured, and positive, and the results have absolutely stuck. What makes Irini so special is not only how skilled she is with dogs, but how clearly she teaches the owners too. She gave us practical tools, personalized guidance, and a plan that actually fit our puppy and our daily routine, which made everything feel doable and sustainable. She went so far above and beyond by taking him over the holidays and New Year's, and she treated him like her own. Even after training, she has continued to check in, follow up, and stay genuinely invested in his progress, which speaks volumes about her dedication and how much she cares. If you are considering training for your dog, do not hesitate. Irini is exceptional at what she does, and the results are real. What I love most is that he doesn't just tell you what to do or how to train your dog - he explains the why behind it and helps you understand the psychology of a dog. Once he starts sharing, it's one of those moments where you think, "That makes so much sense...how did I not realize that before?" In many ways, this has felt like personal training for me as a dog owner as much as it has for my dog. I've had two dogs before, both around 25 lbs (a Boston Terrier and a French Bulldog/Boston Terrier mix), but this is my first time with a larger, working breed: Java, a Malinois mix. While I had some prior experience, Mike's classes have been incredibly helpful in teaching me how to work with my dog's instincts and energy, and avoid some of the mistakes I made in the past. What I also appreciate is how Mike builds both confidence and a "knowledge toolkit" that I can apply when I'm training or handling Java on my own. Each class feels thoughtfully tailored to the specific dogs and their needs. Mike is truly a master at reading dogs and adjusting accordingly. As further testament to how valuable these classes are, I just purchased Mike's book, Integrated Dog Training, and fully intend to read it cover to cover. Java still gets a bit rambunctious in class, but his progress outside of class has been amazing. It's also great that he gets mentally stimulated and tired out! I'm excited to see how far he continues to go with the foundation we're building here.

Before training, we struggled with leash pulling, barking, lunging at other dogs, and nonstop chaos whenever someone came through the door. We were honestly at our wits' end. Everything changed after I saw Bryan in Jackson Square walking a calm, perfectly behaved pack of dogs. We started weekly family lessons in January 2026 with our dogs and our two 12-year-old daughters, and progress began almost immediately. Bryan quickly helped us realize the humans needed training too. With consistent coaching, support, and a board-and-train program, the transformation has been incredible. Our dogs are now well-behaved both at home and in public. We can comfortably walk them, take them to parks and outdoor restaurants, and genuinely enjoy being with them. Bit of background: Maggie has done 12 weekly group training sessions with another trainer and is generally well-behaved. However, she doesn't read the social signals from other dogs well (ex: when they want to be left alone), tends to jump on everyone at all times, doesn't respond to commands unless there's a treat involved, and lacks confidence. What I enjoyed about the program is that it includes several in person training sessions during the B&T. We got to see Maggie's progress as time went on and most importantly, we were trained on their behavior psychology and how to become the leaders of our pack. I will say I was nervous about implenting the ecollar but Bryan has demonstrated that it is a safe and effective training tool-- I got to see it used as a tool for correction that Maggie actually responded well to. Maggie is coming home tomorrow and hand-off includes an in-home training sessions to ensure her progress doesn't regress which I appreciate. From what I've seen, Maggie has become more confident, responds to recalls in distracting places (no treats involved), learned to self-soothe, and plays/greets other dogs/people with manners. Truly the best investment I've made in my dog and I'd highly recommend Mutt and Tumble to all dog parents!

I have decades of experience fostering dogs and personally adopting many of my own, and over the years I've worked with a wide range of trainers. Without question, Steve is in a league entirely of his own. His talent, intuition, and depth of understanding when it comes to dogs is extraordinary. He doesn't just train dogs; he teaches humans how to truly understand them. What made the experience even more unforgettable was the joy he brought into the day. We laughed constantly. At one point my cheeks genuinely hurt from hours of smiling and laughter. And yet, amid all of that warmth and humor, we walked away with an incredibly clear, grounded, and practical understanding of his methods and a deep sense of confidence in our ability to apply them. Steve's approach is refreshingly doable: just five minutes of training per day, paired with his ongoing availability as a resource. That combination alone feels invaluable. We literally just completed our training day today, so I plan to update this review in a few months with more detail about long-term ease of execution and results with our dog, Griffin. But one thing I feel compelled to share now is this: throughout the entire day, even while Griffin was dramatically protesting (vocally, and with flair), Steve remained calm, steady, and completely unfazed. Griffin didn't love everything he was being asked to do, but he clearly adored Steve. He never cowered, never shut down, never showed fear. That level of trust speaks volumes. At one point, I asked Steve about scheduling an additional training day for one of our other dogs. His response was thoughtful, sensible, and deeply ethical: he told me it wouldn't be necessary. He explained that the principles I was learning with Griffin would absolutely apply to our other dogs as well, and that he'd be more than happy to answer questions along the way. That moment really matters to me because it so clearly reflects that Steve is driven by genuine passion and care for people and dogs, not by squeezing every possible dollar out of his clients. I also want to wholeheartedly acknowledge Tasha, who was incredibly kind, responsive, and compassionate throughout the scheduling process. We had to cancel our original training day due to a traumatic injury our other dog, Enzo, sustained: a spinal stroke. Tasha immediately offered to refund our deposit without hesitation. When I shared that I still very much wanted to work with Steve, she later went out of her way to find us an earlier date than originally offered after I asked to be notified of any cancellations. That level of care and humanity meant so much during a really difficult time. I am profoundly grateful for Steve and his entire team. This was one of the most positive, affirming, and empowering experiences I've ever had as a dog guardian. If you're looking for the best, congratulations.
