I prefer not to leave reviews but this one warrants one. Most people who are dissatisfied with a service will leave a bad review, the ones that were happy usually don't bother. We have been using Custom Maids on our short term rental properties for a few years. They have been very reliable for us and always showed up when scheduled and cleaned our properties to a "hotel" quality clean. I used them before and they did what they were supposed to do. I had to tell them to do a few more things before they left because I was paying for four hours. They were not happy but I said, I'm paying for four hours and you want to leave in three, thinking you are done. Then, today two people were supposed to be here and only one showed. I said, I thought there would be two of you? She said, I had her for 2 hours since there were only one person. I said, okay! She started talking and talking and I said, I don't mind you talking but you are cutting into my two hours. She said, that's okay and I will make it up to you. She comes to me after two hours and said, I have to leave! I said, you only cleaned two bathrooms in two hours! She said, I have to go and talked some more about her great aunt who's sister sold her property because she was POA. So for $60.00 plus a $20.00 tip I had two bathrooms cleaned. Unbelievable! I called this company for a deep clean, which they quoted at $180. Two girls arrived to clean. When they said they were done with upstairs, they went out to take almost a half hour cigarette break. I went up and noticed the bathroom floor hadn't been cleaned at all. When I brought it up, the girl said she'd done it (impossible as there were Epsom salts spilled on the floor that hadn't been touched, dust around all baseboards, etc) but she went up and cleaned it again. Regarding my hall blind, the cleaning girl said it's too dirty to clean, and I should just get a new one. Okay, I thought. After their break, I was upstairs while they cleaned the downstairs, and looked around, noticing the windowsills hadn't been vacuumed (part of the "deep clean"). I used the bathroom and flipped over the rug, and lots of dirt and dust came out. It had never been shaken out. Frustrated, I left for a drive. When they called to say they were almost one, they said they went over on time and would need $20 add'l. I said, fine, even though you took an almost 30 minute break (they argued it was only ten minutes, but I found 7 cigarette butts in my front drive) but please go clean the bathroom floor again, as I had shaken the rug out. I came home and went to my desk to write a new check . I hear the one girl's phone ring (she was 20 feet away on the stairs mopping) and the other girl on my front porch starts screaming: "I'm not cleaning her f*&%$ing bathroom floor for a 3rd f(*&^%ing time". Of course, I can hear both sides of the conversation, so I go open the front door, hand her the check and tell her to leave. Screaming cleaning ladies on my front porch wasn't what I signed up for. Apparently her workmate was also frustrated with her, and the two of them had a screamfest out by their car. Again, I asked them to please just leave. I called the owner, who apparently had already heard from the girls who were probably trying to cover themselves. After all, it's not every day you scream the f word at a customer's house and expected to get invited back or even keep your job. The owner was nice enough but kept asking if I was satisfied with the cleaning. NO. I was not. I had to ask them to redo my bathroom twice, so no. The girls blamed my son for the bathroom floor who stopped by to use the bathroom for like 5 minutes. It wasn't him. And then, she wasn't really offering any compensation, so here I am, telling everyone in internet land: stay away from this company and her trashy cleaning girl Danelle if you want to have a good experience and get your money's worth. I used this service for over 6 months and was not impressed. They broke a dish while cleaning and left it on the counter. There was no note. Nothing. They left the television on and just left. They never show up on time. I indicated that I wanted the service between 11 and 12. They would arrive anywhere from 11 to 3 o'clock. I called to complain and was promised that they would always be there between 11-12. No variation. Today, I took off from work to let them in and they did not show up between the designated hours. I come back to work and at 1230 I get a call that they are on the way. The maids that I worked with were very nice and did a good job however the management at this company is just not very good. I had contacted this company because my wife had been sick and the house work was a little more than I could manage. I had looked around to see who does a good job had read many positive reviews about this company. I placed a call to them informing them I had a lot of laundry that had accumulated and needed to be folded and put away and some dishes that had accumulated as well that needed to be done with some light house cleaning. I had told the lady who picked up that I wasn't sure if this was in thier wheel house but we just needed some help to get up to standards. The lady reassured that this could be done so I booked 2 cleaners for 2 hours. They were professional and nice up to this point. When the two "professionals" arrived the next day they came in I showed them what needed to be done and my wife got up to help them as well. We were going to be involved in the process as well. We were basically looking for some extra help as it was a large amount to do for 1 person. When the ladies came in and looked around they said they couldn't do it that this wasn't the type of work they did(cool if it would of stayed there we could of parted ways and no harm no foul but... ). The house cleaners stated they would have to call thier boss to see if they could do the job. I had to run out so I gave my wife the two hours pay and told the cleaners I had the two pay and if it needed more I would square up with them when I got back. I recieved a phone call 10 min later from the office manager saying they were sorry that they couldn't do the job because I had dishes with maggots and bugs all in my house. I explaines to the manager that there were no bugs or maggits but if they couldn't do anything or did want to do anything that was fine. I found this extremely insulting. These people came to scrub toliets and all kinds of unsanitary surfaces but couldn't handle some dishes for 30 dollars an hour. That would be cool if they didn't want to do it. The fact they made up an exuse insulting the cleanliness of me and my family I thought was crazy. Even if I did have a house in the state they were claiming you don't say that to a costumer. You simply state thats not what we do no harm no foul. They were also quite more rude stating this to my wife which upset her greatly. A company that treat prospective costumers like this is what is wrong with the service industry.If it's not a service you provide just say that. Don't insult a prospective customer who knows maybe I would need something next week like exactly like what you provide or maybe a friend or relative does you know word of mouth and all. If this is how you treat prospective customers what does that say about your actual work ethic ? Do you only take the easy jobs for a quick buck or do you care about you consumer ? read more

I am extremely unhappy about my service with this supposed "company". They just come to your house and play around and then collect the money. They do NOT work. Nothing is ever done to completion. They lie and say that you never told them to do something. Who hires a maid and then says, "Oh, I don't care if you clean" . Idiots! My dog could have done a better job. read more
