The weather report called for tornados over the weekend; 18 people died in AL. But Kyle called late in the evening on Friday and asked for a picture of the vent. Earlier he said he was familiar with the make ànd model of my RV. Isn't this weird? Shouldn't he have asked for a picture earlier, when I had reaction time to call someone else? I can smell BS from a mile away. Kyle called back and said he did not have my cover in stock, he would have to wait until Monday to do the repair. Camping World is open on Saturday, and they are going to do the repair for half the cost. We got hit hard by the storm, and of course I didn't need Kyle by Monday. Kyle wanted $125 for coming to me, and $25 for the cover. $150 for 15 minutes of work. I'm not sure how these guys are going to survive the recession. $150 is darn good money! Might add that all repair centers involved taking truck in and having to get someone to follow and take me back As none of these units were located where I lived. So I took it to Statesboro Ga and all I can say is. My son took his truck in for a diagnostic testing. He went back to pick it up and was charged over $200 just for them to tell him what was wrong. I've taken my truck in to other places for this and it's either no charge or maybe $50. The guys had been in his truck and let muddy feet all over the truck inside. They didn't do a repair of any type because we didn't want them to after they quoted a ridiculous amount for that as well. We spoke to other shops who quoted reasonable pricing for repairs and minimal to no charge for diagnostics They clearly realized he was a young man and even when he spoke his mind about the charges and the mud they were rude and didn't give a crap. Lesson learned the hard way here. Don't let this happen to you or your friends and family.
