A few days later Matthew arrived right on time with his crew. In addition to the branch removals, tree shaping and trimming, Matthew took the time to replace an old cable on our biggest locust that he saw was cutting into the bark with a superior cabling system. He and his crew were all so helpful, pleasant, and respectful of the yard and garden. Despite all the heavy branches that needed trimming, there was no damage to anything and cleanup was above and beyond. When I rehired them in June 2024, they charged me nearly $3,000 to trim the trees in my front yard and on the side of the fence with my neighbor's permission. The sap and pine cones from the trees have been causing damage to many cars. I told the owner, Mark, the specific areas that needed to be addressed, and he assured me that he could use a truck with a lift or a bucket to get the job done. Upon returning from my vacation, I discovered that no work had been completed on the side area, and the mess left in my backyard was not addressed either. Despite contacting Mark with pictures and calls to express my dissatisfaction, no refunds were offered for the first job, and the wood from the second job remains uncleared. Given this experience, I would not recommend this company, especially since the owner did not acknowledge the issues. After two weeks, he sent some guys out to move the wood in one area, and they must have used chainsaws and more workforce to move it. That job was another few thousands. I know inflation has gone up, but I didn't think Mark would let his quality of work go south.

They provided a quoted price right at the first meeting which was lower than other quotes I got, they arrived with a large crew of friendly people to do the work, they asked my thoughts and opinions before beginning and as well as when they were removing branch by branch of a tree that was important to me. After they took down a big Douglas fir my daughter was sad about that so one person cut the top off and gave it to us to use as a Christmas tree, which cheered her up. They were very careful with the stump grinder to not touch my fence. I was very pleased and would definitely use them again.
