Awesome people! I came in looking for a Thule Cargo box for my Macan. I was in luck because they had so many out on display. I was debating between the Thule Motion 3 XL and XL Low. One of the guys (can't remember his name but he does have a bad shoulder lol) got them down for me and we test fit them on my car. I was so thankful they let me test fit them on my car and I went with the XL Low option. He tightened it down on my roof and it looks super sick! It's the little things like that I value so much in a company. "ONE BIG MISTAKE" We TRUSTED this place to install the Katzkin Leather for our brand new car, unfortunately, it's a decision that I now regret. My brand new car, my very first big investment seems like a victim of careless and irresponsible installers. When we left the car to their shop we told them to take their time to install the Leather seats hoping they would do their job properly and take care of our property the way we cared for it, however, the opposite is what happen. When I came home after a few days out of town and inspected the job, my heart sank due to the poor quality of work done, not to mention the way they put things back together particularly the seats, the plastic caps at the seat rails looked like it has been yanked and mangled, they are all loose and clips are broken, the car's interior side plastic panel was scratched leaving deep groves not even a can of Spackle can fix, the leather door handle was badly scuffed and the middle passenger arm rest has now an out of placed improperly reinstalled protective plastic cap. $1200.75 to have this job done properly, I felt betrayed and my car violated, and vandalized. My next report is to the Better Business Bureau, business like you should be reported and listed so that people will think twice before wasting their hard earned money on a over priced butchery. If you can't hire competent people to do the job well, you might as well not offer the services that you pretentiously offer because you'll end up having more reports such as this instead of satisfied customers. Poor customer service and poor job quality. Think Twice people, get the most out of your hard earned money don't risk it to careless shops like this. Repairs and re-installation have been done however, If you just purchased a $30,000.00 dollar car and the same form of "vandalism" had been done to it, you can't help but blurt out your frustration and disappointment hoping this instance is a lesson learned and something people should consider before having the same work done at this shop. P.S.: I have pictures of before and after the job in High resolution- the before pictures looked exactly like a new car out of the dealers lot, the AFTER however is what caused this review...I thought customization is to give the car a better look but the opposite is what we got. Send me a message to get copies of their "work" Again this is a warning people: Think Twice before entrusting your car to this place, If you want an upholstery job done to your car, there are better business' out there compared to Custom Truck. Try Coeur d Alene Upholstery, nice friendly people AND they really know what they're doing when it comes to this kind of projects...we just learned a tad too late about them, which is tooooo bad. read more

They explained the differences and actually wouldn't sell me the expensive one because there was an alternative that was the same quality, same use and made more sense financially. Overall I was happy. It has been 15 Years since I walked into this store, but since I just moved back up, and opened up a shop around the corner from them, I went back in. I had purchased a small lift/leveling kit before my move. Most places didn't want to install it if they didn't order it themselves. The other issue, is the few places that would install it wanted 3.5-4 hours of labor, when the manufacture themselves said 3.0 I was hesitant, because they have never done this truck before, but i decided to take a chance. Not only did they give me a ride back to my store after dropping the truck off, but they could have easily said, well it took 4 or more hours (as they did say they have not done one before and it could take longer). I went in to pick up the truck and I was happy. They changed only 3.0 hours of labor, just as the manufacture said it would be. They were Honest, and everyone overall was great to deal with and friendly. read more

I was traveling through the area and my fog lights cut out on me. I went to Home Depot to see if they had any wiring parts I could buy and try and fix my issue, because, I'm that good. When I pulled into the parking lot I saw this place called Custom Truck. Since I was short on time, i went in. I was really impressed with the huge amount of stock truck accessories and how clean the place was, and I was darn near attacked by smiling faces as I walked into the store. I asked the guy if he could fix my wiring. Not only did they get me taken care within minutes, but they didn't even charge me. Turns out it was just a fuse that went bad. Turns out, I'm not such a electrical stud after all. These guys really helped me out when I was in a pinch and I highly recommend this business. On a side note, I watched the hockey game, then a little ESPN on a big screen in their waiting area while they were checking out my truck. Mad props, Custom truck dudes. read more

Ok, I saw this business on yelp, and because of the warning, I was a little skeptical, but I have a real review. First thing is first - their website is horrible (the one in posted on yelp, I mean). And that bothers me. HOWEVER - they were the only folks in this forsaken town to help me with my problem of re-attaching my grill to my relatively new truck (new to me). After going to another parts store (see my other reviews) they didn't have what I need, so the burly gentleman behind the counter found me the part, and it worked! Lo and behold, it worked - I can finally leave this town. So in short, I cannot speak for their installation department, but I can speak for the customer service (which amounted to all of 5 minutes). Stereotypical men at Custom Trucks. When I was there the other week, every guy that walked through the door they greeted and ask what they could do for them, when I walked in, nothing. You'd think with 5 guys behind the counter, one of them would say something! Every time I go in there they all stare and then when I tell them what I want, part number included, they tell me that I don't want that because of a, b, and c. But oh after they actually listen they end up using the same thing I wanted! Also had the HID conversion kit put in on my truck, talk about hurting the pocket book. It cost twice as much in labor then it did to buy the parts. Plus they 'accidentally' charged me for labor on parts they didn't install. Going to use the one in Spokane Valley, same name but way better staff! read more

First of all I absolutely love my new Leer canopy. The problem I had was that when I picked it up, I got to looking and there was about an inch gap where the back window shuts and the plastic seal piece was halfway out of the groove and this was a brand new install so I went in and some young man said that should be fine and told me to use a heat gun and flathead screwdriver to fix the seal piece. I then asked to speak to someone else. Kelly Sexton then came up and they talked about my complaint and I tried to say a few things and was totally ignored by both of them. Kelly Sexton treated me as if I were not there. I was not kicking and screaming either. I just wanted it to be right before heading down the road. The technician that came out and fixed it was really good and friendly. Kelly was very rude from start to finish. Good products there but my customer service experience was horrible. Proceed with caution. There are other places that sell the same products and my appreciate the customer a bit more. read more

After searching for a used shell for over a month on craigslist I decided to try Custom Truck. To my surprise I was able to buy a new shell that actually matched the color of my truck for just a little more the the used craigslist shells I had been looking at. Followed my son here while I was in town for the marathon, and we had a wonderful experience. He ordered a custom grill for his truck, and wanted to have it installed the same day. We were told it would take about three hours, and they were kind of busy, so we went to lunch and shopping for a while. They were done in 4 hours, so we had to wait a bit, but still it looked good when were were done. Overall, a good experience. read more

Cool story I wanted to share - these dudes put a Yakima cargo loader in the back of my truck, and the damn thing fell off when I went to load it with cargo - so I took it back , and it turns out the thing was defective from the factory. So, they ordered me a new one, and installed it again - for free - as they should have, by the way. They didn't really give me any slack either. 5 stars, bro. read more

I bought a Leer shell for my new Tacoma and paid them something like $150 to install it. The first problem: it was installed crooked, so one side of the rear lid had to be forced to close. Second problem: The brake lights on the shell started staying on all the time. Third and continuous problem: the bed leaked like a sieve. I took it back and they knew the problem, but did not fix it when they installed the shell! (Tacomas have some gaps under the rails that need to be filled with putty to prevent leaks). The best thing that I can say for Custom Truck is that they did not charge me for any of the three returns, but my truck/shell still leaks. (I have to fix the bed issue when I take the shell off.) read more

Got back home from vacation, found out that they charged me another $47. When I called and asked why, it was because an employee billed the environmental fee on my card. The owner said that he was sorry it didn't get charged at the time I was there, but it had to be charged regardless. While I'm not thrilled about the price, and the fact that they charged my card twice, It was still a great price for great work. read more

I had a 50 gallon TransferFlow Auxiliary Tank (pump internal to the Aux tank that fills the Main Tank automatically, without an external nozzle) installed in the bed of my 2017 RAM 3500 diesel truck. Custom Truck ordered the tank and installed it perfectly; prior to starting the install the mechanic provided options on instrument location (in the cab), tank mounting details, and wiring details. Following installation they put diesel in the new tank and did an leak/operational test, without any problems. The installer went through the operational and maintenance information with me. I am very pleased with the install and am looking forward to the extended range when pulling our 5th wheel trailer. read more

I went to custom truck because I heard they did an excellent job on trucks. Although I read different here on yelp they did a great job. I own a 05 Dodge that needed tire flares and rails both top and runners put on my truck. I live in Spokane where labor rates are through the roof so i gave custom trucks a try there in ID. All I can say is the guys working there treated me with respect and understood every thing i wanted to do to the truck and how i wanted it to look. They went the extra mile and I couldn't be more pleased with the look of my truck after they were done.
