Within just a few minutes, Roger responded to my service request to have a 20' aluminum flag pole…read morewelded to its base plate. I called him to discuss the repair and he gave me a very reasonable estimate so I brought the parts in for him to inspect. When I arrived at his shop, he said he could do the work while I waited, I was very happy to hear this since I live 30 miles away. Two guys were working on other projects in a well organized shop and he still found the time to help me. It only took him about 15 minutes to complete the welding job which turned out better than expected and looked very professional. Ordered a small piece of mesh wiring from this company. I was told that what I wanted was not…read morestandard, and as such, was fairly expensive. What I needed was not available...but they had something similar they thought would work, I was quote $230 which seemed pretty high, seeing as most other companies were selling similar sizes for under $100. I was again assured that this was because of the non-standard size. As I needed it...I went ahead and ordered. What arrived at my door was NOT from this company. They called a metal supply company in California called "Gerard"...and had them drop ship the mesh to me. I thought this was odd...so I called Gerard. They confirmed that this mesh was a REGULARLY stocked item that they carry...and for the amount I needed, would have been at the minimum order of $100. They also would have sent me a 12" x 12" sample for FREE to make sure the mesh was correct...BEFORE I made the purchase! Metals. Inc. did not even GIVE me that option. it was a "take it or leave it" attitude. As it turns out, the mesh sizing is not correct...so I asked Metals-Inc for an exchange or refund...and they will not do it. Will NEVER use this company again.
