Due to the age of the machine, 35 years, the replacement part is expensive. Jon showed me a used snowblower he had in his shop and offered for a really good price. Cleaned it up, rebuilt the carb, made it look like new. I stopped by and actually gave it a test run. It also starts on the first pull. He also let me know that since it's later in the season, he'll help out if anything goes wrong next season. As usual, Jon is responsive, mindful of your budget, and just one of the most friendly, chill, down-to-earth people I've ever met, let alone do business with. Thanks again, Jon! Our agreement was to Change the Oil & Sharpen the Blade. He did Change the Oil but never sharpened the Blade because the Blade Nut was Rusted & Frozen to the Mower Spindle Assembly. Instead of Fixing it he Chose to Screw the Customer Instead. My Friend who was an automotive Mechanic for 30 years could not remove the blade to install a new one. Now I must find a vendor to fix a problem that should NOT Exist...I attempted to Contact Patrick Arko several Times but he would NOT Reply.
