The customer service was good throughout the process, and communication was clear. Since the glass had to be custom ordered from the mainland, the turnaround time of about a month was understandable. The price was also on the higher side at $1k, but I accepted that given the custom nature of the job. However, for what I paid, I expected a higher level of workmanship. Unfortunately, the final result did not meet those expectations. The quality of the work--especially the overall finish of the door--was disappointing. In my opinion, when a company completes a job like this, the area should look the same as it did before (or at least close to it), just with the repaired glass. That wasn't the case here. Maybe expectations can vary, but for me, the outcome didn't reflect the level of quality a reasonable customer would expect at this price point. Based on my experience, I can't say I'm satisfied with the final result. Now I need to find someone to fix what they did to the door.

The next day, they called to offer to fabricate the screens for the project to save my friend time and told me to ask him and get back to them. After a couple of days, I realized that my friend was not going to follow through, so I called Screens and Things back to ask if they could do the job, and they cheerfully reinstated the contract and completed the job. The installers did a superb job -- looks great and they completed everything quickly.
