We discussed my hair, and what I might like and she suggested some changes. Having left my previous hairdresser after 25 years, I was open to some new suggestions. Marie wanted me to understand what she was using as products, why, and what the benefits of the products were. So she was kind enough to share her knowledge and educate me. We used both some of her new products and some that I had been using. My new hairdo came to fruition. It was actually the hairdo I had been trying to get my previous hairdresser to help me achieve, but it had never happened in the past 2 yrs since I had given her the picture. I was quoted a certain amount for a service when I made my appointment in person with Tom but that…read moreamount went up $10 during the actual appointment a month after that quote and $15 more when I went in for my second appointment 2 months after that. Additionally, I was informed during my last appointment that he automatically adds a tip to the service in addition to a non-cash adjustment fee. I had hoped to resolve this issue after speaking to Tom; however, the lack of communication indicates otherwise. While I wish him well, it is safe to say I will not be going back.

I really wanted to love my experience but unfortunately I left disappointed…read more I paid $340+ for an ombré with dimensions, root touch up, toner, and haircut (before tip). Before we started, I described exactly what I wanted and showed my stylist, Erin, an inspiration photo. She also showed me a similar reference photo that was slightly less light, and we agreed on the overall look. When the appointment was over my stylist made it a point to show me the back first because she acknowledged it didn't look like what we discussed. She styled it nicely to try to disguise it. She even commented that the front hadn't received enough bleach. Since we both recognized it wasn't the result we discussed, I scheduled a follow up appt before I left the salon. However, when I called about the follow-up, I learned it was being treated as a new color service that included another toner, root-touch up, and money pieces. I wasn't looking for money pieces or a different service, I just wanted the ombré we had discussed to be more noticeable, in the back and especially in the front. I don't feel comfortable paying for another color service when I felt the original result was not what we agreed on. So I won't be returning. Everyone was polite while I was there but I'm very disappointed with both the outcome of my appointment and how the follow-up was handled.
