My friend and I went for mani/pedis for her birthday, and we were excited to try this salon due to its positive Google reviews. However, now, we know they offer $5 vouchers for 5 star Google reviews; this is not only disingenuous, but upsetting. The nail techs tried many times to get us to purchase the more expensive gel polish, despite the fact that we kept declining. Our pedicures were relatively quick, even though we scheduled spa pedicure appointments - I would say they were basic, maybe slightly elevated. We also got basic manicures which felt rushed. My nail tech left some cuts on my cuticles and brushed past them like they weren't there, and I felt as though the establishment as a whole was a bit dirty. To top it off, our two basic mani/pedis + tip cost $225, which felt like an overcharge. As we left, the nail techs even pressured us into paying with Venmo, and then seemed dissatisfied with the tip we left (which was more than generous for the service we received). Jennifer made my super nervous self feel excellent and carefree throughout my entire shoot. I am a very self conscious person and she made sure to work around my inhibitions and get the best shots. She took well over 200 pictures and made the reveal process so easy for me with her patience. My session came with hair and makeup however hair wasn't needed as it can only be styled one way and make up I can't stand but gave her make up artist a chance. While I didn't like the make up (which was most likely solely my opinion because I don't ever wear make up) Jennifer made sure to tone down the make up so I was able to enjoy the pictures she took without seeing the make up I disliked. All in all I found Jennifer and her studio experience to be nothing short of amazing and I will absolutely be returning to do another shoot with her soon. 10/10 recommend you do the same!!
