They landscaped the front of our house and when they brought in a medium size boulder, they rolled the boulder over our brand new poured curbing and cracked it and broke a huge piece out of it. I reached out to Laeden and he did not take responsibility and said we should have told him when it happened. We don't live there full time and we weren't even living there when they landscaped. We are EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED with this company and its unprofessionalism. Will never recommend them. As I see here, they already have a 2.5 star review so there are many other unhappy customers. She has always responded to our requests for on-going landscape management within our business park located within the Boise Research Center in a timely manner. She has always returned my phone calls the same day. She has always been willing to meet onsite when necessary; in order to clarify any landscape issues that arrive from time to time. While she is not a rubber stamp for requests; she always takes the time to explain in detail the work proposed, the reasons for the budget, and time frame in which to start and complete any necessary work. Unfortunately, I had to do business with this company because I bought a house from a contractor (Boise Hunter Homes) that uses them. They are the absolute worst to do business with at all. The quality of work is below average and they do not follow up. They will not return phone calls and they do not fix their mistakes. If I could give zero stars I would! I have had nothing but trouble with this company. Starting with the workers not caring about anything! They speed through there work and don't care what they cause in the process. They have flung rock on several occasions hitting cars and houses and not caring. Today they left huge ruts in my yard and I mean huge ruts! Looks like a semi truck went thru my yard. Under no circumstances should you rely on this company to do parking lot snow removal. Even if you have a contract! The lack of communication and days of getting the run around resulted in being told that our property could not be added to the route. I am now looking for another company. read more

They broke our patio sunbrella and left our gate open. We have small puppies that go in the backyard and could have easily gotten out.

We had one of their employees come out to give us an estimate on how much it would be to do our yard, sprinklers, sod, etc. It took several emails before we received a quote and it was incorrect. When we emailed them back asking for an update on the quote we still have NOT received ANY communication back. We have tried 3 different time to get a hold of them asking for an updated quote, and we always get the same response we are working on it. It has been over three weeks and still nothing. I run two businesses in my home, and if I treated my customers this way I would be out of business. I guess customer service with this company is a lost art. I will be looking somewhere else to have my yard done. read more

Responsiveness is nonexistent. I own a business that has lawn that is close by that is cared for by Cutting Edge. The issues every spring are just borderline amateur. As I type, the irrigation out front has been on for 23hrs straight, obviously a stuck valve as it was just turned on within the last couple weeks. We have at least 4 calls into their office with zero call backs and of course no response. They don't have someone on call for irrigation issues as I was told this morning at 725am, they don't start until 8am. I reiterated that they have been on since at least 10:30am the previous day but... This kind of non-existent service has been going on for 4 years. I would guess it's because it is commercial property and there isn't someone always looking at it like a homeowner would do? Edit: at 24hrs now with on call/response Update 5/12 Issue resolved a couple hours after last edit. Received very polite and appreciated calls from owner apologizing for any issues. read more
