Our HOA has had 3 different landscape companies since 2019. In 2024, we contracted with Blue Ribbon. Our sub has never looked so good. Our grass is green, and they do a great job of adjusting sprinklers, weed abatement, and regular fertilization. I called regarding sprinkler services. The project manager came out and spent at least 40 minutes looking around, sat and chatted, and said he'd get back to me within the week. I emailed a week later and he said he was working on a proposal and would have it within a week. Now, over 2 months later I sent an email asking what happened. No reply. Common courtesy is all I ask, if you don't want the work, tell me, don't leave me hanging. One can't go 2 months waiting for sprinkler repairs. read more

Our community has used Blue Ribbon landscape to maintain our development for a year now. At first I was optimistic as they do show up weekly (which was a huge improvement from our prior company). Beyond mowing and edging I am far from impressed. Our landscaping looks terrible. It's spring and there are dandelions everywhere. Obviously they did not winterize properly or put down weed control when they started fertilizer about a month ago. The guys driver over sprinkler boxes and leave the chewed up tops (which created a huge mosquito problem last year combined with their constant overwatering). Many neighbors have insect issues in their yards from the overwatering to treat dry spots which are really created from pests. Will update if things improve. read more

This was for a Christmas light job on our sub division. We received many quotes and we were happy with them all. The difference was the follow up that Jim gave us, he called and returned calls and showed he really wanted our business. After the install we had some request and he showed up within 2 days and worked with us to make sure we were happy! We are! I don't think you can go wrong here. read more

CAN I DO A 0 STAR? PLEASE!!!! Not sure how they stay in business. Apparently they hire the most incompetent people they can find. They are responsible for the common areas and parks in Kensington subdivision. My yard which backs up top there common area is constantly getting watered by there sprinklers. 2 of. Which shoot over the fence and 20+ feet into my back yard. 3rd one doesn't even water the common area. It shoots straight through the fence and washes my landscaping off the brim into my grass. I have turned them down, they readjust them to keep doing it. They're side of fence is bone dry. Mine looks like a flood zone. I try to use my backyard for bbqs there sprinklers rain on the party. When you try to call them, you either get a fax machine or it rings and rings and rings. HIRE SOME HELP WITH A FREAKING CLUE WHAT THEY ARE DOING! If everytime you come out to Kensington the same 3 sprinklers are changed. GET A FREAKING CLUE YOU ARE DOING SOMETHING WRONG. read more

We requested a price quote on repair of irrigation hose and bark mulch and they showed up 2 years later to give us a quote! When they gave us a quote we requested the work be started in 2 weeks and they were unable to get the work even started so we cancelled and decided to go with someone else. read more

I was extremely disappointed with this company in every facet. I hired them to design, landscape my backyard and maintain the yard, sprinklers, etc. The design was nice but landscape work was way off schedule and several repairs had to be done at completion. Huge slope in yard, sprinklers and drip lines reworked and part of patio redone. Then when I got the "final" bill and paid it about 2 months later I got another bill stating 90 days past due of over $700. Called a d bookkeeper stated yes that's right and that's all you owe. Paid that then the following month got another bill stating over 90 past due over $600. I had paid maintenance for season in advance so it wasn't that. Then they tried to bill me for a replacement sprinkler head as maintenance when it wasn't even 2 months old. I have had 3 different house where I had landscaping done and maintenance but never have I dealt with any of these types of issues. And to top it off I have a dead plant because the drip lines still aren't right. When this season is over I will be finding a new maintenance company. read more

We have had Blue Ribbon do our Landscaping for the last 5 years. They communicate well and do what they promise. We love how our lawn looks each year and look forward to there continued service! The work they perform is good but their customer service stinks. I contracted with them for landscape services at my home. I paid them for the entire season which, in hindsight, I think was a mistake. Before I paid them they were almost instantly responsive but as soon as they had my money I can't get them to respond to calls or emails even if I am asking about additional services. We switched companies for years for our commercial landscaping. It seems like every company is good for the first year or two and then the quality falls off. But we've been so happy to have consistency with Blue Ribbon. In fact, just today they came out for their final mowing and they spent twice the averge time they usually do because the fall leaves were so bad. I appreciate the thoroughness and attention to detail. We'll stay with them for many more years. read more

Blue Ribbon does all the maintenance on my yard and we are very happy. They are very knowledgeable and professional. I'm going to have them do a large project in my backyard hopefully next year because I've seen their work and it's amazing. Do yourself a favor and at least give them an opportunity to tell you what they can do. read more
