For $13,000, we have watched one of the hanging bar cabinets come off the wall unexpectedly and crash to the ground... in pieces. Now, we have our 8.5 foot barn beam mantle detaching from the wall. As we have taken the mantle down due to safety, we found this heavy, 8.5 foot barn beam was pushed into the wall with only three, half-inch, lag bolts and no epoxy used. Please be sure to do your research carefully before even thinking of hiring this company. We have never received an apology, but we're told when the bar cabinet came crashing down, " These types of accidents happen in this line of work." No, no they don't! Especially not twice!

In my experience they were condescending, unprofessional, and rude. I called because I was not satisfied with the service, and before I could fully explain the issue I was repeatedly interrupted and felt verbally attacked. The interaction was completely uncalled for. It appears this company primarily services Home Depot's countertop program; in my view, that relationship keeps them in business despite poor customer service. After this experience I will not shop at Home Depot again, and I want others to know about my experience with Eastern Surfaces.
