The Cutting Edge crew took down a 75' Pin Oak that was inconveniently situated in a perfect triangle between our house and the power lines supplying our house and our neighbor's. (A major limb had come down after a recent storm, and it rendered the tree unsalvageable.) The guys were courteous, professional, and did an amazing job dissecting the tree and working with the crane operator to lift the tree by sections over the power lines. They then laid them down in our driveway, where they carved them up and carted them away. They left the site spotless. I hope we don't need them again for a while, but they'll be the only ones we call in the future. read more

It's too bad, I never had the chance to see if this company was good at their job. I recvd a flier, apparently they won a contract in Hburg and decided to engage potential customers - not a bad idea! However, they use an answering service, which doesn't seem to know how to -electronically mind you- forward the customer "data" collected on a web form. Sounds like a Jerry Seinfeld episode! Three attempts and 2 weeks later, someone called to schedule an appt for an estimate.Then... 6+ days since then and still no estimate. Needless to say, I selected another company. Wes and his crew were courteous and professional from the first day we talked until the job was finished. They look professional, they act professional, and they did an amazing job removing two very large trees that other companies said could not be done. They arrived promptly and worked carefully and efficiently. After the trees were down they cleaned up all of the debris. Cutting Edge has been used 4 times by my church and my elderly relative used them twice at her house. They are definitely experts at taking trees down. Their equipment includes a 120 foot three-part articulating boom truck [they actually control it's cutting from the ground] that can get up and over houses and other obstacles so they can reach trees unreachable by bucket trucks or cranes. Its cheaper, faster, and safer than having men have to climb tall trees to take them down. Cost-wise, they have always been lower than other quotes I obtained (possibly because they don't have to use as much manpower due to their modern equipment?) . They are fine to work with and their employees are friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend them for anything that you can't handle yourself. read more

Cutting Edge Tree Professionals did an incredible, efficient, and effective job felling an 84ft Willow that had begun to grow into the side of our home. The cost for the task at hand was absolutely amazing, and the emergency services they provided us in the middle of the night and the quality of service they provided every minute from then until the tree was fell was absolutely bar none. A job more than well done, gentlemen. These guys know their stuff and their customer service, knowledge, & skill level is top notch. Can't say enough wonderful things about them!! These guys were spectacular. They took down three ~70' tall cherry trees in my backyard with no crane access (had to drop the logs into the yard). I've felled many trees before, but these trees were beyond my skills. Nate had great communication and Jake was an expert when he took the tree down. The cost was far below what I anticipated paying. Cutting Edge worked with me in regards to placement of the tops and slash wood. I will only be using Cutting Edge for my tree work in the future. read more
