I called the pharmacy to verify that they got the correct prescription, a girl answered the phone told me to wait, I understood told the girl to take her time. She puts me on hold then hangs up. I call again and get hung up on, I call again and someone answered but they were speaking fast and stern the only thing I heard the man saying "we cant help you" mumbled something else and quickly hung up. If someone had answered and politely told me that the person who can help me is unavailable and to call back later, then there would be no issue. But that is not what happened. I unfortunately had to tell my patient that the pharmacy was hanging up on me and she would have to try calling herself. Im not sure what children are working here but they need to be retrained.

Wouldn't step foot in here again if it was the last place in earth. Store is old and dirty. Most of…read morethe items are locked to prevent theft, so you have to ask a staff member to unlock it for you. Staff acts like you just asked them to boil the ocean for you if you ask for an item to be unlocked. To top it off, I placed a large photo print order the previous night and went in the morning to pick it up. I had the order number confirmation email that my order was ready, but I was told that the order was never done and that I'd have to do it myself at the kiosk. No apology, no offer to look for my order or ask someone else. I specifically spent time editing the pictures and ordering them so I wouldn't have to spend a long time at the in-store kiosk. Pharmacy is awful, as if you couldn't already guess.

So, my friend got COVID. Well, her entire family did. So they're quarantining. She's fine, but has…read moresome pretty bad symptoms. So she asked me to help her out, get some prescriptions and OTC stuff at this Walgreens, right near both our houses and drop it off on her porch. Sure, is Sunday afternoon, I'm not doing anything else. Go to the pharmacy, easy as pie. Bam, get the Rx. Time to get the OTC stuff via curbside to go and this whole trip will be 15 minutes. Park in the curbside to go parking spot, call the store, tell them who I'm picking up for, "OK we'll be right out." 10 minutes later, nothing. I text her, she says she'll call. 5 minutes later, "OK, they said they'll be right out." Another 5-10 minutes go by, I call again, and then they tell me I need to come in to present my ID. This isn't ideal, because I have a toddler, who hasn't mastered wearing a mask yet, but I could have made it work, if I had just known right away that I needed to go in (like if the guy on the phone had just told me the first time I called?). Also, why can't they just check my ID in the car. Also, if they didn't realize that they needed ID prior to hanging up the first time and didn't have my number to call back, just walk out to my car and tell me. And then, why lie/withold this information from her when she called too?? I finally went inside, and they didn't even care about the inconvenience. Would have easily been a 5 star review for the pharmacy, but the curbside fiasco, waiting almost a half an hour drove that way down. I understand everyone is under a lot of stress/inconvenience with COVID, but like, use common sense/decency.

Worst service ever. I went there to pick up a medication. The cost was over a $100. I asked if…read morethere was a cheaper alternative. I was no, take it or leave it. I couldn't afford it. I left. I went to a near by Stop and Shop pharmacy. I asked them the same thing regarding the cost of the drug. The attendant went to a computer came back in about 5-7 minutes. I ended up paying about $10.00. She made an effort to help me. I will never go to a Walgreens pharmacy again.

The pharmacy is a dumpster fire; on numerous occasions, I've called in a refill and been told by…read morethe IVR that my prescription will be ready on a certain date and time. From experience, I know to add one day to whatever date I'm told my script will be ready. Last week, I drove over to this place, as usual, I waited on a long socially distanced line. Upon reaching the counter and asking for my scripts, I was informed they were not ready. When I let Cassidy (?) know that the IVR system informed me that my they would be ready, she told me my meds would not be ready for two more days. "Well, why then did your system inform me they would be ready for pick up yesterday?" Then Cassidy impolitely informed me that... "I understand your frustration." That's all I needed to hear; I hate that BS, canned customer service phrase. This pharmacy is perpetually understaffed with low energy "snowflakes." I'm in the process of switching to CVS-a longer drive but I need a pharmacy staffed with experienced, hard working people.

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever used. Let's start with the blatant HIPAA violation, that is…read morethe way they display their filled prescriptions in eyesight of customers. You can literally read the customer names on the prescriptions sitting in the alphabetized bins behind the counter. Have they never heard of HIPAA before??? Secondly, when their automated refill system glitches out, you have to wait 15+++ minutes to get someone on the phone who will man-splain to you that it's your fault because you don't know how how to enter a prescription number (NO SIR. I PASSED THE THIRD GRADE. TRY AGAIN). Or, better yet, this really happened, they tell will you, "you're not one of our customers. You meant to call the walgreens down the street." NO! I'm 1000% positive that I meant to call YOUR WALGREENS because I'm looking at my prescription bottle and it has your phone number and address on it. As if we need a third reason here, they have literally lost my prescription before. They said, "it's been refilled, but we can't find it." They spent 10 minutes shuffling through all their alphabetized HIPAA violation bins before giving up and remaking it. Mistakes happen, but none these things have ever happened at any other pharmacy that I have been to.

The lady handed me my medication and gave me a total to pay, I told her I have an insurance card and she told me that if I wanted to use my insurance, that I would have to step aside so she can take care of the other customers or I can just pay... I said, "Wait... you want me to pay out of pocket when I have insurance"..... she then turned to the doctor and asked if I would get reimbursed if I paid with my money... I just didn't understand her logic.. this doesn't make sense! The doctor then said he would take care of it, only to place my medication to the side, and I waited. Another lady came over and asked what I was waiting for, and I told her that im here to pick up my medication and I wanted to add my insurance into the system... she grabbed the bag and gave me a total right away. I said again, "I want to use my insurance!" She replied and kept urging me to come over and look at her screen as it doesn't say for 3 month, so they won't enter my insurance. I waited on the side again, so upset, annoyed, and embarrassed. I have NEVER been treated like this before. I ended up leaving without my medication. How can CVS Pharmacy treat people like they are so beneath them that would make people walk away. I really needed my medication and called my doctors office crying hysterically. The lady who told me to pay without insurance or wait on the side told people she was only there to help since she works the front and should be ashamed. Would you want someone telling your mother or daughter to pay for their medication and not insurance since they don't have time! No customer service! I really need my medication, and it hurts knowing other people who need their medicine might be walking away, too.
