This location is a JOKE right? I went here to pick up Zantac for my preggers GF cause shes got preggers problems... side story, she is adorable when she looks miserable... side story over. So I roll into this location and find the Zantac (specifically asked for by Corina, the preggers) and see that the three options available at this location are pictures on blocks. Two of the three pictures of this medicine are blurry and none of them have prices! They actually took the time to photo these boxes and create blocks for them but then didnt bother to focus the camera? Did they use an old school disposable camera with no view finder? So I decide I should ask the pharmacist the deal with this medicine cause old preggers back at home might require one over the other and the picture doesnt include active ingredients or instructions or really any information other than with mint, sugar free, and a lower dosage... I get to the pharmacist and ask her the difference between the three... she says one has mint one is sugar free and one is a lower dosage... hmm good thing she caught that for me... so I ask ok how much are these then... she replies you have to check up front. Ok, no problem... so I walk up front and wait. I see what I think is an employee and ask if they have anyone up front she says I can help you... like wait... I know you saw me walk up here and I know you saw me standing here.... you actually waited for me to ask you ?! Ok... yeah can you tell me how much these are..? She looks at them confused... I say yeah those pictures are kind of blurry... she snaps back... they're not blurry... I respond oh you can read all of that she doesnt even look at them... yeah I can read it all... I think I found the photographer!!! She then looks at the box and says there is no price on it. Yep, so how much are they? She says she doesnt know... doesnt look it up... gets on her radio and asks for help... next girl comes up and looks at them and then tells me... oh the girl didnt put a price on it... thank God she figured out the problem! I was worried... she says the price is in the aisle you found them in. I say forget it I'll go to another store. Some other notes I didnt include.... the prices of zantac posted were 25.99 and 22.99... so definitely missing one price here. All three boxes were in the same spot. I'm pretty upset at this waste of 10 minutes cause my Jets are playing so I suck it up and roll across the street to Stater Brothers fully aware that the grocery store was probably going to be more expensive... man was I wrong.... in their aisle I found the actual box and could read it and its ingredients and doses... crazy! Well played Stater Brothers... I hope your bold strategy pays off.... oh... and the kicker..... 9.99 for the box... WT actual F CVS on Brookhurst! If your store is still open in 2020... Slowest, most frustrating, most disorganized pharmacy that I have ever encountered. THE WORST drive-through in the world! Not just among pharmacies, but of any type of drive-through. This is the nearest pharmacy to my home, but I have stopped going to this pharmacy because every time I have gone into this store, I have regretted it. They are slow, they are clueless, and they give bad advice. They always tell me when to pick up my pills, and they are always wrong. Usually when I get to the pick-up counter, they act like they have never heard of me and we have to go through the process of identification at least twice. They always have at least six or seven people working behind the counter in the pharmacy, and yet there always seems to be nobody helping a customer. I called the pharmacy to see if my pills would be ready, they gave me a time, I showed up when they told me, and still had to wait an hour! I drop off a prescription and they say it will be ready in a week. A week? For real? Just scrape the pills into a bottle and hand them to me! It should be that easy, but for them it is not. I went there today and saw an elderly woman laying on the floor. I asked if I could help her, and an employee stepped in and said that he was helping. CVS apparently can't even get an ambulance in an hour or less! I'll bet they get their pizza quicker than they can help a dying customer. If I were manager of CVS for five minutes I would fire half of the staff. From now on, I'm just getting my pills at Walmart. Walmart! Can you imagine?! Walmart is a better pharmacy than CVS! The pharmacy seemed relatively knowledgeable about the prescription eye drops I had to pick up. They were a bit slow though and the buzzer for the 1st window went off at least 3 times and no one seemed to move. The store itself looked pretty clean. I needed to pick up some medical tape for the eye patch thing that goes over my eye. They were on sale, bogo 50% off, so I got 2. I don't need to frequent a pharmacy so to me, it seems no different than a Walgreens or Rite Aid. read more

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!! Horrible customer service. There is trash all over the Parking lot, they frequently have mislabeled sale tags and items are always out of stock and you are forced to ask an employee to help you .... Then they act like you are a nuisance. I previously left an awesome review after a bad experience and the store manager made amends. Guess what.... It happened again. Shift Leader Luis treated me like a criminal when I tried to use CVS' own coupons from the CVS app. I called the manager, Jason, and he talked to me like I was a fool. Bad news. I've always had a great experience here! I went here recently to purchase something, and I pulled out my CVS coupons that I get every time I shop at this store. Well, all I had was a $3.00 off purchases of $15.00 or more and the coupon expired. I made a comment along the lines like "Aw man, I wish I could use this!" The lady working at the counter happily honored my coupon even though it was expired and my purchase was only ten bucks! I thought that this was so nice of her! Not only that, but it seems to be the same two ladies working behind the counter at CVS during the weeknights, and they are always so cheerful and nice to deal with. Not to mention, one of the biggest reasons I love CVS is their club rewards program! Those coupons I get keep me coming back to CVS time and time again. They are so helpful and they are always for things that I am needing. Def a CVS fan! read more

Stopped by this local CVS to purchase a Blood Presure Cuff. At first was ignored by the clerk behind county. He explained that he was the only cashier 5 others behind counter. I told him as he proceded to wait on the drive through again and ignor me, that all I needed was to purchase item in a locked case. At this point someone else behind counter said they will get the manager. She came back to pharmacy to only say she had to get change and proceded to walk away. WORST PHARMACY EVER!!!! They don't even deserve one star in my eyes. I have had issues with this pharmacy before but since it is close to my house I thought I would give them a try one more time. NEVER AGAIN. I am signed up to receive a text when my prescription is ready and never got one Thursday evening when it was placed. Friday morning I called to see if they had it ready and they said it wasn't even in the system!!!! So I called my doctor to have them call it in again and unfortunately they were not there but would be in this morning, Saturday. So this morning I call my doctor and they say it had been called in but when I called the pharmacy sure enough it wasn't there once more. I was on hold for 10 minutes 3 times and they were still unfriendly and EXTREMELY UNHELPFUL!!! Might I add uneducated as I had to repeat my name and spelling multiple times very slow. In the end they told me they couldn't process the coupon over the phone even though there was nothing to scan, just numbers I could have given over the phone, and I would have to come in for them to find out if they could even do this coupon. THEY ARE IDIOTS! So I go in and wait yet another 15 minutes to talk to someone. 5-6 people working in the back and 2 at the counter...I realize the people in the back are filling prescriptions etc but they obviously need more people, friendly educated people, working the counter. She asks about my insurance which has been the same since the last time I got something there and they had already talked about this over the phone. I just wanted to know about the coupon which they could have asked me for the pin numbers over the phone and saved me a trip but NO I had to experience them in person. I HATE this pharmacy. The only reason I still go there is they have a drive-thru. First of all when you call there's this annoying automated man who makes you SAY things out loud. I'm in public man. I don't want everyone to know I need the pharmacy. Every single option should have a choice to use the number pad. Next, they put everything on automatic refill, even if you've asked them to take everything off multiple times. And that annoying automated man calls ALL THE TIME to tell me when refills are due. And they also text ALL THE TIME. I've never asked for a reminder and I don't appreciate it. I had to block them it was so bad. So now I can't get messages I really do need bc they are blocked. On more than one occasion the automated man has told me my prescriptions will be ready, only to drive all the way down there and they're not. Today, I called and spoke with an actual person to make sure the medication my doctor ordered was in stock. I asked several times in several different ways to make sure. They acted like it was ridiculous I would ask and told me it would be ready in 1/2 hour. My nanny drove all the way down there to have them tell her it wasn't in stock and MAYBE it would be there tomorrow. It gets 1 star for having a drive thru and 1 star for having a COVID testing station. Also, they need to get rid of the curb on the L side of the second drive-thru. Stay away from the pharmacy they quote you one price and then overcharge you and it's never their fault

To start, the only reason why I came here was because it was the closest location to me that did same-day photo printing. I didn't end up having time to pick up the photos I ordered yesterday so I came out of my way today. The first cashier I was helped by was rude and when I asked for my photo order, she told me couldn't find them and had an attitude telling me to wait until her manager came back from lunch! The manager, who was apologetic, helped me a second time but still couldn't find them and couldn't even find my order in their system. He finally checked a second computer and found it. He said they would print immediately but that took another 10 minutes, on top of them being stuck ringing down the long line. What I thought would be a quick errand turned into a hassle. This being my home CVS, I stop by here whenever I'm in need of necessary items for my house. The staff here is very friendly with the exception of one of the male employees. This CVS USED to be 24/7 but they have now gone back to normal hours. Quick and convenient, and good prices. read more

Every time. Every. Time. I call in a prescription for a certain eye drop for my cat, Prednisilone, they ALWAYS give me my cat's other prescribed eye drop Dorzolomide. And they always say I (or my husband) messed it up with smarmy smirky grin. I called in for Prednisilone last Friday; got 3 auto reminder calls it was ready. Showed up on Tuesday (Mon was a holiday), stood in line for 10 minutes and they said the drops weren't ready. Told them about the auto reminder calls; told me it was restocked b/se I didn't show up fast enough; told me to stand in different line for them to pull it. Six people in that other line. Went home, called in the order for Pred drops again. Received an auto call 2 hours later saying order ready. Showed up today (Thur), waited in line and was given...yep... Dorzolomide. Told them they'd messed up. She smirked, grinned, and told me "no you told us the wrong name, we didn't make a mistake, you did". After 2 years of them doing this, I was done. Not a good CVS whatsoever. If you try to return something, they will give you all the excuses to not process your return and send you to another cvs to make the return. Also, they delay or not place the sale tags to the merchandise so that customers won't know the sale price. It's just a waste of time coming to this CVS store. read more

They should train staff on how to read coupons. Myra was rude after I told her about how the coupons worked, she pretty much accused me of photo copying my coupon. I told her they only allow you to print 2 coupons per computer and I only had 2 coupons. She then told me she would let it slide this time, as if I was doing something wrong. Then onto purchasing and item that was sold for $.99 and I had a coupon for $1. The item was a Buy 1 get 2nd 50% off, she was confused, had to call her manager and she got even more upset and was tossing my items all of the place and was huffing and puffing. I love this place. This is a great store I turned in a prescription the girl told me 10 minutes I started to shop around but less than 10 minutes it was done, more like 5 minutes. The store was clean and the outside was clean. Great store and great pharmacy staff. read more
