The hospital sent a prescription antibiotic over to her usual pharmacy, but they didn't have it. I called 4 other big pharmacies, and they didn't have it either... Farmacia Anaheim was the 6th pharmacy we called--3 hours before discharge--and they were willing to have someone drive it over from another location. They had it ready literally at 6:15pm. I really didn't want my mom to have to miss a dose. They came through for us. Kamal was the one who helped us; he was really nice and professional. Would definitely use this pharmacy again.

Chris is proactively making an effort to remediate the wrongs and has gone so far as to get in touch with a startup specialty pharmacy in my area to (hopefully) serve me someday. He was also able to better explain the issues regarding the contractual relationship with specialty pharmacies and insurance, the reason I wrote my last review. While I am grateful for the actions Chris has committed to in order to improve Whole Health, I stand by my previous statement regarding the employees. I don't believe in absolute perfection from any business is possible every time, but every call made to Whole Health (that wasn't Chris) involved me arguing or pleading for help. I just don't think I should be in tears or allow a pharmacy to disturb my peace because the employees refuse to provide me solutions. I shouldn't have to ask for Chris on the phone as a last resort, only to find it ineffective in helping my problem. I also don't find it fair to blame an entire company for the faults of a few. I appreciate the apologetic calls but until I have experienced the improvements myself, I can only rightfully rate this pharmacy 3 stars.

He listened carefully to what I had to say regarding the transfer requirements of the prescription I needed, moving it from my insurance, Optum RX, to Cura. BK understood exactly what I was explainly and was very patient. I've also dealt with Eric recently on a refill of that same prescription and he was also very patient, knowledgeable and communicated with me very efficiently when I has to call to check stattus, until the refill was finally transmitted to Cura from my PCP. I arrived on a very hot day and had run out of water and they had a little refrigerator with water and drinks while I waited. That was a nice touch.

This went very well until the prescriptions began to be filled too soon for me. I was running out of space in my freezer to store them. I called and asked that they not fill the prescription until I needed it and to call prior to filling it. This was the process to be followed. It happened once. After they went back to how they handled it prior which i was not happy with. I have requested on multiple occasions to have a prescription transferred to another pharmacy and it still has not been transferred. I have spoken to the owner, the pharmacist and employees. The initial conversation I was informed there were no more refills. They would obtain a new prescription and transfer it. The prescriptions stopped coming. Then without warning they began again. A week prior to needing the medication refilled I found they had filled it and dropped it on my front bench without informing me. I called again and asked that they transfer the prescription. I was assured the transfer would occur. Two weeks prior to needing the medication refilled I found they had filled it and dropped it on my front porch without informing me. I called again and asked that they transfer the prescription. I was assured the transfer would occur. Three weeks prior to needing the medication refilled I found they had filled it and dropped it on my front porch without informing me. I called again and asked for the owner. I informed him what had been happening. I again asked that they transfer the prescription. I was assured the transfer would occur. This happened again so I called and spoke to the pharmacist. I told her that I would be filing a complaint about the handling of this one prescription. She told me this would be addressed. I had called the new pharmacy to request they fill the prescription. I was informed they did not have it and they would call Beach Terrance to get it transferred. I had now no more of one of my medications. I had now been out of the medication for 3 days. I called Beach Terrance and asked if they still had the prescription. I was told they did. I asked that they fill it and them transfer it. I was told they would do so. I just checked after 3 weeks and found this still has not been transferred. I will call again tomorrow and speak to them once more. I have enough on hand now to make it to my next appointment with the prescribing Doctor. If this has not been transferred I will request a new prescription.
