Semi-Annual Sale!!!!!!!! The Semi-Annual Sale is the best time to buy anything from Bath & Body Works! This will save you the most money. I went in with my husband, because we were looking for some hand soaps. They have the best smelling hand soaps! My favorite scent at Bath & Body Works is the Strawberry Pound Cake! It's soooo sweet and delicious smelling lol I love the body sprays so much! Today though, I was on the hunt for a different scent. Since we needed hand soap, and not body spray, I wanted the scent to have a more "home-like" feel. My husband and I settled on the Mahogany Cherry. The smell has bright cherry, rich mahogany and fresh vetiver. That is the only scent we both liked for the house. I actually liked the lemon and citrus smells, but he didn't. She could not issue me a new card and her supervisor was just as useless. I called to the store and the supervisor angela did not like that i called her and her cashier Erin not compatible of working in that store and hung up on me . Of course, it's much smaller than the typical stores. But the customer service this time around was great! Even on the last day of the $4.95 body care sale, even with tons of people crammed in the store the associates were always asking if anyone needed help. When I got to the cashier, she noticed that I got a small travel size of one of the perfumes and went to go look for a full size for me. The nicest! I have a few body sprays that are scents that I did not like. At the time they had nothing that I liked to trade them out with. The times I was in after I never had the exchanges with me. I finally went in with my exchange and chose better scents, They WOULD NOT exchange them. I know it was over 90 days, but you have a 100% satisfaction guarantee, NOT. They only offered me the sale price that I paid for them and I could apply the credit towards a new item. I guess the bottom line is, NO 100% guarantee satisfaction. I guess if I wait until the spray's go on sale again and are the $5.95 each, I should be able to get my credit and get 3 products for my 3 I want to exchange. Today was the last day for $5.95 single-wick candles. Limit was 20, so Ibstockwd upnforyear round scents. Although it was bauy, the door greeter Nubia was quick to hand me a bag and greet me. As I was searching for a certain event she too went on the hunt. It wasn't found but I did get 50% off sales on candle holders! What a bargain today. The store was nicely stocked many choices. They do adhere to the limit rules. Also, I was able to utilize my online app and get my coupons. Again, staff were curious and so helpful. I usually have a great time in the store browsing around and such but today was different. I went into the Buena Park Mall store today to see if by chance their 3 wick candles were on sale. The girl at the door informed me no, but there were some on a table for 60% off. As I stood there looking at the candles on the 60% off table I noticed a sign on a table behind me that read " ALL CANDLES BUT ONE GET ONE FREE". I went to the girl that showed me the 60% off table and showed her. She said oh I didn't see this. So I proceeded to select more candles. I went to check out and told the clerk that one was on the 60% off table and the other 4 should be buy one get one free. The other girl at the counter said no that isn't right. I showed the girl checking me out the sign and she said that she had to do what the other girl said because she was the manager. We both went back to the check out counter and showed the manager the sign. The manger proceeded to tell me that it was for that table only. I told her no the sign said All Candles buy one get one free, not just this table. She wouldn't honor the sign that was posted, so I said fine I wasn't buying anything and walked out. You would think with all the stores closing because so many people are buying online and not shopping inside the stores she would have honored the sign for me and then take it down. I took my mask off to smell the scents as I usually do, and realized that the employees there were talking about me. One had colored hair and the other one was overweight. They were talking about people who need to stop putting their mouths near the candles. Due to the whole pandemic, I would have understood and I would have put my mask back on if they told me to. However, they DID NOT tell me and proceeded to just talk about me behind my back. Very rude and unprofessional. Never coming back to this location again. This location needs to work on their customer service. Right when my mother and I walked in, the 2 ladies working the floor were so deep in conversation didn't even notice customers were walking in. I finally had to interrupt after waiting to be acknowledged and asked if we could pick up a shopping bag. I had 2 coupons with barcodes in my other purse and asked my cousin to take a picture of them. The customer rep by the name of Nicole who was ringing us up said let me check with my manager if we can use the barcode of the picture. She returned within 2 seconds, clearly not asking anyone and stated no she needs the physical coupon, although I had the barcode and it was a one time use and could be used online. Next she asked me for my loyalty ID, I showed her my barcode from my app, she glances at my phone for about 2 seconds, clearly not enough time to enter in the 10 digit number. So once she is done ringing us up, I asked where it states my loyalty account on the receipt, knowing she didn't apply anything. She acts as if she is searching on the receipt, then stated she needs to ring us up again! The line is now growing as people are waiting for her to fix her mistake. I asked her why she didn't scan my barcode in the first place, if there is a barcode, she stated they can enter it both ways. Clearly, she wasn't trying to give me the points I deserve for this purchase. After 10 more minutes with her trying to fix her mistake, as I'm walking out, my mother overhears Nicole thru the ear pieces to her colleagues, calling me an inappropriate name. Very professional Nicole, try taking a customer service course and not scamming customers out of points they rightfully deserve and helping customers in a timely manner so the wait line doesn't grow for unnecessary reasons. read more
