I've been trying to check my on my prescriptions on line which were transferred to this location over 3 weeks ago. I've called at least 6 times only to be told they would take care of it. HORRIBLE STAFF! RUDE to their customers even though it's CVS pharmacy that messes up. Kim is extremely rude and makes little comments about children not having the same last name at a prior stop (sorry I don't have time to change my name to my husbands name, Kim) also they told me my daughter has no insurance even though she went to the doctors twice the week prior and was sent in a prescription. They told me drive 25 minutes away in 90 degrees to grab her insurance card because they couldn't look up her information. Had to pay out of pocket because they couldn't figure out the issue and my daughter needed to start her medicine. Please PLEASE CVS do something about our only pharmacy for miles?! I have had nothing but excellent service at CVS Pharmacy, Angels Camp. Sherri, in pharmacy has repeatedly assisted me with new RX questions. She has always returned my calls promptly with a polite and positive attitude. I have also had excellent service with the other employees, past. and present, over he years . If I could give a no star I would. Needed help with a face moisturizer... no one showed up after pushing the button twice, the staff was one aisle over and refused to help. Settled on a different brand. Went to get beer and very few stocked. Get to the register and there's a bell for service... ring and she took her time getting near the register. Stopped to ask ME IF IT WAS MY BAG BY THE DOOR.... I replied not mine. Then she asked if I knew who's bag it was...? How would I know if it's not mine?! The staff is fine. The bad rating is due to their policy on handling medications request. Per the pharmacist, who I just got off the phone with, they don't fill your script when they receive it. They will wait until you, the patient, call and ask what's taking so long. I have been waiting two days for diabetes testing supplies, and their automated system kept saying "in processing". So I called the pharmacist and here we are. The excuse is they are short staffed. That's outrageous and out right dangerous behavior if not medically neglectful. This store is just a mess. Been shopping here since 2014 and the out of stocks were bad back then and haven't changed. I fill my prescriptions here and that's it. Not sure what the problem is with this store. I'm wondering why the manager and department heads haven't been replaced or do they keep hiring people that don't know retail? Updating my previous review. As I said before, the people staffing the store are fine. My complaint was about the website and my difficulties getting my prescriptions delivered. They've been doing better lately so I'm adding a star. I want to give a shout out to the lady at the store (didn't catch her name) who helped me solve one of the many glitches I was having online. The store is fine but I absolutely dread the pharmacy. The staff is usually friendly but the wait times are horrendous. I switched to online delivery because of this. Today I had to go in store to get my first vaccine. Appointment went smooth online, wait time to get the shot was great, but then came the problem. I asked the pharmacist if I needed to get back in line to provide my info and he said yes. At this point there were about 10 people ahead. When I finally got to the register there was confusion and I got told I didn't have to wait. There's always something with this location. read more

CVS in Angels Camp seems to be getting worse! Store is disorganized, shelves and aisles are messy/neglected, prices are higher than rival Rite Aid, only honors coupons or discounts on non-sale items, and ohmygosh, those annoying yards-long coupons given with your receipt! Always check your receipt before leaving the store!! More often than not, I've not received credit for a coupon or discount on my CVS app! Why is it I can go to a Walmart in a different state and get my prescriptions transferred in less then an hour but this store takes 2 to 3 days to transfer from one CVS to another. And talk about RUDE, non- caring personnel!! Just about got my head bit off asking at 9am if I could get my refill before 5pm as I'm OLD and don't see well driving at night. This pharmacy has some serious issues. We called in a prescription and when the patient went to get it, they were told it wasn't there. Apparently, they don't check their answering machine like they're supposed to. We call and ask the pharmacist to please check the messages next time before telling the patient there is NO prescription. The pharmacist gets mad and HANGS up! Seriously? It's your mistake and you gave an attitude with us?!? We ask to speak to the manager and the pharmacist tells us HE'S in charge! Later in the day we try to call in a couple more prescriptions for other patients. The pharmacist proceeds to hang up on us. Would not answer our calls to take our prescriptions. Just flat out refused to accept any orders from us. How unprofessional is that? We finally get a hold of someone in a different part of the store and complain the pharmacist is rude and unprofessional. The guy says...yeah that's why everyone comes to us... After the Murphy's Pharmacy closed due to retirement we came to CVS. What a huge mistake. Long lines, unfriendly staff and it can take up to days to get your RX filled. Hi I live in Angels Camp and my doctor is in Sonora when I get my prescription filled I pick it up at the cvs on Main Street Angels Camp first of all I have had 6 major surgeries and chronic pain that is some times unbearable the staff attitude is very rude and extremely shows no care what so ever the grey haired lady who takes drop off never smiles and is very rude she has no respect for customers feelings she looks so miserably unhappy with her job and needs to be trained in what she is supposed to do greet everyone with a smile? I needed to print some photos quickly today for a last minute gift. I went to the photo department and was immediately and pleasantly greeted by Jean. I went to the self serve kiosk and tried to upload photos from my iPhone, which quickly went bad. Jean came over and tried to help me but it was my new phone and not their equipment. She than gave me information on how to get the store app, upload my photos and send them in for quick printing. Although the app stated they would be ready in about an hour, Jean was able to get me my photos in about 30 minutes while I shopped. I was out the door in no time with other holiday shopping done. Spouse gets there after five PM and told that they had to order, would not be there till the next day. Told spouse to call Dr. to have order sent elsewhere.
