On Feb 13 @ 7:45p the two "adult" women closing the store aggressively shouting at and rushing customers trying to finish shopping before they closed. One of which was a young teenage couple who was clearly uncomfortable/frightened by how aggressive and rude the woman with short hair was being. Do NOT do business at this store. The employees are aggressive and abusive towards customers & they clearly could care less about how blatantly unprofessional their behavior is. I've waited hours in the last two weeks to get my meds. They are obviously understaffed. That is not their fault. But. A pharmacist straight up lied to me. He told me my meds would be ready in half an hour. I came back the next day and they were never filled. Why were they never filled? Because they didn't have them in stock. Something he should've been able to notice when he told me they would be ready in 30 minutes. I had to come back and wait even longer to get some answers from a different pharmacist. They've filled the wrong medication. I went through the drive thru today because I can't stand in those lines for that long. I waited a long time, but I had a book. When she finally got to me, she told me that they hadn't filled the medication and there was no record of me ever being there. I've been going to this pharmacy for over a decade. She asked me to come inside to figure it out. I did. Turns out she misspelled my last name. Of course she didn't double check the spellings. This used to be a perfectly fine pharmacy, but I simply can't waste hours of my life doing other people's jobs for them. And the real kicker is that everyone who works there doesn't care that they're wasting your time and failing to do basic due diligence. You'd think this place is run by children. read more

Just did drive up testing for Covid at this Forrest drive location! I made my appointment online two days ago for non -rapid testing where I was given a date & time slot. They txt you a confirmation code which you will need when you pull up to the drive thru window normally reserved for script pick up. My slot was for 12:10- there were maybe 3 cars ahead of me--I think I waited maybe 10 min before my turn. They send you a reminder txt before your appt. with a link. I didn't have time to complete which was fine, the link is a video which I will include here; it walk you through everything & provide all the testing supplies you will need to perform this self swabbing test. No need to be nervous. No one will but you will perform the test, and cvs pharm. guide you every step of the way, including how to obtain your results which will be sent via email link. It took all of 3 minutes. I didn't have to show ID or proof of insurance as I had done that online when I made my appointment. This is a great option if you want to limit exposure in a clinic or hospital setting. It's free to do and you can get a spot the same day if your lucky- mid week! CVS Pharmacy - a self - service window - Drugstores Near Me - ANNAPOLIS, Maryland

I shop at this CVS often, since it is the closest pharmacy to my home. I am all for making sure everyone receives a Covid-19 vaccine shot, but many places don't have adequate staffing to add that to their other operations. This morning, I stopped in to pick up a few items. I made my way up front to the checkout. No one was there. This has happened before, so I followed the directions and pushed the button to summon help. A guy who was sitting at a table near the front door (I think checking in people with vax appointments) hollered across the front of the store at me, saying "use the self checkout or wait 15 minutes--I am the only one here." So I started scanning items with the self checkout, but since one of my items was Benadryl, it popped up a message saying they had to do an ID check. So the harried worker at the front table had to run over anyway and swipe a code to clear that message. It is impossible to expect one associate to man the registers and the vaccine check in. The guy sounded very rude, but I assume he was just overwhelmed. read more

Literally just had the worst experience of my life at this CVS. I just needed laundry detergent which is locked up. I simply asked the cashier to assist as I did not see one single employee on the floor. She was NOT helping anyone. She immediately had an attitude and told me to find another employee. I said there wasn't one, she said she was tied up at the register (even though there wasn't one single customer in line). I walked around and looked for another employee and saw a young lady standing at the back holding an employees only door open and talking with someone, whom was another employee. I asked the young girl if someone could help me with detergent and I can hear the cashier lady (African American woman) hugging and puffing saying "are you serious?!" To me and shouted "which detergent?" That's when I lost it. I'm sick of rude employees who are there to do their job and take out their anger on the customer. I wanted one thing and can't help that CVS keeps their detergent locked up. The other employee (white lady with red hair) came out and said she didn't have a key and that I needed to have the cashier son out anyways. They both had such an attitude so I went off on them. Not my problem they are so miserable with their jobs/life. Will never go back to this location. read more

I had a very bad experience yesterday at 12 noon at the CVS in Cherry Grove. I went to get my Nivea product and very kindly asked the worker if it was available. She replied in a very rude manner, telling me to look for it myself. Then she called me ignorant, and I felt offended. I really do not understand why they have that kind of person working in a pharmacy, and she even claims to be the manager. After verbally insulting me, she dared to follow me and tried to cross my path. She is a dark-skinned Latina with dyed hair and highlights. read more

Came here for a booster shot and had scheduled an appointment 2 weeks before my appointment. Arrived at the appointment time and the pharmacy was mobbed! Lots of people getting boosters and other scripts BUT we had an appointment so we (foolishly) weren't too worried. After waiting 35 minutes the pharmacist called my name and then said - it will be a few more minutes. Waited 10 more minutes (now 45 min after the appointment) and the pharmacist called 3 other names. Asked about our appointment that was 45 minutes ago and the pharmacist rudely said "I only have 2 hands!" and then walked away. After an hour of waiting for the appointment I got online and booked an appointment at Sam's club which is not too far from this CVS. Drove to Sam's club and had a needle in my arm within 5 min of parking my car in the Sam's club lot. I probably would still be waiting for the CVS pharmacist who only has 2 hands if I hadn't left CVS. read more

I made an appointment for 4:50 pm for a drive through COVID test. I arrived on time at the drive through line with maybe 3/4 cars in front of me. After about 45 minutes in line i was next up. The care in front of me waited for maybe 20 minutes and was never helped. Once i got to the window i pressed the button many times with no help for about 5 minutes. I then called from my car and was on hold for another 5 minutes with no answer. I could see people working so i then began to knock on the window. Finally someone helped me. That's it! I'm going to open a drug store for my next career! I wish Annapolis had a terrific pharmacy. I dream of a polished store with the right lighting, fully stocked shelves, decent prices with specials every week to reward customers for stopping in, and randomness that could easily jump into the cart: say a birthday gift or a thank you card, or some extra make-up that looks fun to try. But the key is the pricing and the selections. It would also be nice if the pharmacy had my prescription in stock or could at the very minimum tell me who had it in stock without us having to call every store nearby to see if it was available. read more

It makes me sad to write this, because this used to be terrific pharmacy. And a I think that, with proper management, it could be again. Having said that: 1) A male employee loudly sighing and rolling his eyes, as I walked into the store as the first customer of the day; 2) I had ordered 25 dollars of photo products online for pickup there. They could "find it" despite my receipt", and were really rather unpleasant. They were undergoing renovations at the time, and the attitude was "tough luck." Those were presents for my godparents' 50th anniversary.. "we don't care" was not what I was expecting. 3) Real hostility and uncooperativeness , in the pharmacy department. There had been some sort of mixup, and my 88 year old Mom's Medicare number had gotten misplaced in the computers. We've been going there for 20 years, and used to have wonderfully helpful pharmacists. It's taken 6 weeks to replace Mom's card, and because she can't get her meds, she has been hospitalized five times. I understand that this might not be their fault, but as a caretaker for a dying woman, the attitude I got, added to an already considerable level of stress. Pleasantness and/or kindness would have made it an easier experience. I'm sure that with a bit of customer service training, these problems could be amerilorated.. There are a few wonderful women who work behind the checkout counter, whose smiles are always day brighteners. If you've been going someplace for 20 years, you feel a certain amount of loyalty. I hope these seemingly contemptuous attitudes, are not meant to be: we all have day jobs that can take it out of us. Looking forward to the day that the attitudes here, improve! Until then, will be patronizing the CVS on BayRidge Road, where helpfulness and customer care are a priority. I urge you to do the same.. it's not far, and it's enjoyable, not stressful and difficult. We've spent thousands and thousand of dollars at Cherry Grove, over the years. First of all, let me first.m start off by saving I don't leave reviews very often because let's just face it that customer service is very mediocre these days. So if there is outstanding customer service then yes I will leave a positive review and on the flipside if the customer service is poor then I'm going to spell it out. I am not sure who is even running the store or if there is even anybody running the store. The employees or some of the most unfriendly employees I've ever seen ever encountered. Wouldn't even acknowledge you and if you had a question and you it wouldn't even get an answer. I will never return back to that store and I would advise anybody else in that area to not go to that CVS either going to another CVS it is a couple miles away is well worth it. CVS, you should truly and I mean truly be ashamed to have a store like this. There isIs merchandise and boxes down every aisle that not one person is trying to put away one employee just stand at the door he does nothing it's just disgusting. Very unhappy with CVS at the local and corporate level. Yesterday my doctor sent two prescriptions to this CVS. Within an hour I got a phone call from a robot that my prescriptions were ready. I was prepared to be impressed. Early this afternoon (27 hours after the phone call that my prescriptions were ready) I visited CVS to pick up my prescriptions. Surprise! One of my prescriptions was in stock but had not been filled. Waiting. The second prescription was a special order. At first the pharmacy tech thought the medication had been ordered and would be in tomorrow, but some pressure on my part determined that the medication had not been ordered and would not be available until Friday (two days from today). I spoke with the pharmacy manager who apologized but had no explanation for the robot phone call. She said she had no control over when the calls go out but that I was not the first to complain and that she had brought it up with her manager a number of times. I asked for contact information for the manager (who is apparently responsible for a CVS region). That person does not answer her phone and her voice mail is full (you think those two things are related?). Sitting through automated phone system *ahem* purgatory I finally got a person - not a manager - who assured me that she would make sure the regional pharmacy manager would be in touch with me within 24 hours. I'm waiting but not holding my breath. No one was able to identify the manager of the missing in action regional pharmacy manager. No one seemed to really care. No one seemed to feel any sense of urgency associated with my medication. No one even asked. I'm shopping for a different pharmacy and sharing my story. Twitter while I was on hold (20 minutes) with CVS Corporate. This Yelp. Facebook tomorrow morning. I've contacted my doctor (a large practice) about my CVS experience. I'll be in touch with my insurance company tomorrow. Any other media outlet I can think of (including ABC's 7 On Your Side) is Friday. After a phone call from CVS that my prescriptions were ready I spent an hour at CVS, a total of an hour on the phone with CVS Corporate AND i STILL DON'T HAVE MY MEDICATION. read more

I bought an Essential Oil Diffuser (Sterling Silent Essential Oil Diffuser) from this location about a month ago. Was super excited and used it right away. After a month it stopped working (yesterday). We did not heavily used it either. Maybe 3 times a week (3.5 hours run time per usage). I was disappointed, and took it back this morning. I did not keep my receipt and also got rid of the package it was in as I wasn't counting on taking it back nor thought the life of this device would be sooooo short. CVS's website clearly indicates that they will honor returns (with store credit or exchange for same item, which I totally understand) on items without receipt (I used my CC so they can pull up my info plus also used their so called reward points card) so they definitely have the ability to pull up my info. There was a extra large man working at the register and once I explained my situation, right away he flat out denied the return saying he could not look up the purchase without scanning the receipt. Is it a Joke? Just be honest and say that "I don't have the knowledge or expertise in this matter but let me get my manager who might be able to help you". This way he is not setting expectation but showing that he is trying. This fool was just more than useless. I was getting late for work so I left and did not bother asking for the manager. I will call the store today later on and speak to the manager and asses if he/she will be able to help or not. So I called during lunch and asked for the manager, turns out the same dude (Gary) is somewhat of a manager and he answered the phone. When I explained my situation again, he said the same thing, "I cannot look up your purchase info without scanning your receipt". So What is the policy about? Who is lieing? Obviously Gary is full of IT. How do you become a manager with zero knowledge? I am more than baffled. Pure Jokers. Extremely dissatisfied with their service and lack of knowledge and customer service. These folks needs some basic training and do yourself a favor and go somewhere else and not CVS. read more
