When I confirmed that I was, she informed me about Harris Teeter's Thursday promotion for customers aged 55 and above, which helped me save some money on my purchase. I was delighted to learn about this benefit and truly appreciated Linda's attentiveness, professionalism, and willingness to share information that I might not have known otherwise. Never have I come here and the store is poorly stocked or not well-organized. This Harris Teeter also offers a huge selection of nutritional supplements and unique household items that you would have to go elsewhere to find such as a local Target, Walmart or Vitamin Shoppe store.... All under one roof! The deli, bakery and hot food bar sections are quite impressive with lots of items and goods to choose from. There are weekly meal and lunch deals offered as well....all starting around $5 bucks! But, to my surprise...one of the highlights that stood out the most is that this place conveniently has a full bar upstairs! There is a modern bar and wine shop upstairs with both offering a great selection of libation and beverages to purchase. It offers weekly happy hour specials and every day $3 dollar pints. I mean, who knew!? How many grocery stores that you patron can you say have a bar or this type of offering? In all, this Harris Teeter store location is quite impressive. The sales are great, staff are helpful and there's convenient parking on the premises of the store. The only downside I would say about this store is that the layout can be a bit overwhelming to navigate. The store is very well organized, but you do feel like you're in a bit of a maze with so many aisles to maneuver in order to find items. And God forbid., you forgot one item once you're at the cashier checkout -- that's located in the back of the store..... You will definitely have bit of a stretch to go back and get the item given the size of the store! Lol. Nevertheless, no big deal for me. I needed to purchase some Magnesium but I wasn't sure the actual type of Magnesium. I really didn't know that there were specific types. The employee behind the counter gave me a list of the various types of Magnesium so I took that list to figure out what I needed exactly. I was told that they have a whole range of Magnesium. So I did a little bit of research and came back about an hour later. The same friendly pharmacist was still there. She gave me advice about the Magnesium Citrate and how this can help my digestive tract. She also advised me about potential complications which was very helpful. I like the vibe here and it seems that they carry all of the medications as any other big box pharmacy chain.

The store is bright, open, well-organized and finally..... a CVS with shelves that are fully stocked with most of your essential items and not locked in cages everywhere! I love it this way and it makes the shopping experience much better and more efficient, than to have to wait, ring a bell, or flag someone down just to unlock cages and shelves to get your items. This is a rarity these days, given all the theft and "snatch n'grabs" going on with CVS locations in the DMV. Another added plus is that there is a MinuteClinic, HealthHub and Pharmacy all located in one at this location, which makes it convenient for getting all your shots, medication's and quick healthcare needs addressed with a nurse on site. Also, the staff here are very friendly and helpful. There were folks on the floor available to point you to anything you needed to find in the store. Not to mention, lots of great sales and this store is the perfect place for 'stacking" those CVS coupons! They truly come in handy and save you a good bit of dollars. I came in here today and stacked a couple of coupons against each other on my items, which saved me over half on my purchase from $78 dollars to $36! CVS let down their community today…read more We had a snowstorm (not that bad-cars and plow trucks on the roads and we had a weeks notice) and they are closed. This is an essential business. People were not able to get essential items like medication, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. Why is it that Mom's Grocery Store, Chipotle, O'Sullivan's, Liberty Tavern, and coffee shops (Northside Social, Starbucks) could come to work today, but CVS couldn't manage? Not only were these other businesses open, but their employees were out shoveling the sidewalks. What soft times we live in. Not showing up to work to sell basic necessities puts the community at risk and is shameful. I will be supporting those business who decided to show up for their community and will not be shopping at CVS.
