I have visited this CVS location a few times. I've really interacted with a few employees who were nice and helpful, but they didn't seem to know where certain items are located. The store itself is fairly large. I don't think have actually walked around the store to check out the aisles and sales. I mostly spent time in the toothpaste/toothbrush aisle to pick up the items for which I was placing the mobile order. This time I checked out the travel size items and was impressed to see they have a lot of newer brands. They also sell other brands in full size such as Clinique... then there were Arabian perfums/scents. There is plenty of parking available, If I do return, I'll be sure to check out the aisles, maybe buy some perfume and look at holiday items! read more

Nasty people. They are rude and disrespectful. I was sick and went to get Sudafed. They pretended to ring it up. Then said they have a system error. Rang it up on another counter and said its system error and they can't sell it to me. They told me to go to Harris Teeter. I asked them to tell me what is the system error. They said it's a system error and told me to leave or they would call the police I went to Harris Teeter. They said there is a block on my purchase and gave me a print out with transaction ID and a website. I logged on the website and it showed that cvs had dispensing Sudafed to me 15 minutes ago They never did. I called CVS headquarters and complained. They assured me that they would look into it The staff at this cvs store is nasty and they are very disrespectful and rude. Their attitude is extremely unhelpful. This place is great, I come from Colorado and we mostly have Walgreens out there. CVS is just better and more organized. It has better selection and even a self check out. We checked out with this nice lady named Thao who told us if we bring our receipt back we can use the coupons on the bottom. She was extremely helpful and kind. read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS We needed a covid test before undergoing surgery. We went to a CVS near our clnjic at Tysons and they said tests are only administered through a scheduled appointment online. Fair, so we booked the CVS closest to my home. I should have known better, as I've had a number of issues with this location before. We booked our appointment, which is a pretty exhaustive process if you have private insurance and covid vaccines in your history. We arrive on time after confirming and communicating with cvs on their sms service. Surprise: system is down and nobody can be tested at their location. No solution was given after staff was told we need this for a surgery. No offer to coordinate with a nearby pharmacy, nothing. If this were the first time a logistics nightmare happened at this pharmacy, I'd say oh well and carry on. Issues from "we don't carry this drug brand so we're going to give you this other brand but you'll have to pay out of pocket" to 30-minute wait times extending to well over an hour. If I need a pharmacy, I'd rather drive the extra 10-15 minutes to another cvs or even the Harris Teeter or Giant near my home to get my Rx needs. Not worth the headache. read more

Not being able to get over the counter meds is wild. I happen to go during the pharmacy's lunch break, but considering they are a pharmacy you'd think you can at least get over the counter meds. They really need to work on their customer service. Twice I've tried to pick up prescriptions from the drive thru but gave up and went inside due to extremely slow service (last time I waited for 15 minutes). Also recently, CVS refused to honor a manufacturer coupon for a rather expensive prescription and was generally not very helpful, at which point I took my business to Walgreens. I like the store and other amenities they offer and am willing to give them another chance, but I doubt they will care. read more

I had not read this stores reviews . I am hoping unlike my self you will read reviews and just do not give your bus. To this store. Should I start with unprofessional pharmacy techs or moody rude pharmacist or perhaps for excessive wait. Lets say you tolerate this. I finally found they filled my last prescription and not the current. Not a big deal no apology no regret. They noted we will fill your prescription right away . 46 mins later I finally get one item on my script. If I could give a ZERO I would. Lack of customer service. The line outside is always wrapped around the building. The people working behind the counter are disorganized, incompetent, rude, and lazy. Anytime I show up they're always sitting on the computer or phone. No one has pep in their step. I filled my prescription here a couple months ago, and now they need a new prescription. Which my doctor states isn't a thing for a legit pharmacy. I showed up today to get my paper copies back to I can find a legit pharmacy and I was asked to wait 15 minutes so they could find the prescriptions. If they were organized it would probably be quicker. The reviews all say this place is terrible - they are. Remember time is valuable and we don't live forever... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE AND SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE. Located opposite Loudoun One this new CVS is really well located for all of the houses around as it had a Pharmacy as well as a drug store. Saves driving further and is easy to get to with a lot of parking spaces . read more

The worst customer service I've ever experienced. A worker named "Muhammad" was extremely rude. Stuck the middleman finger up at me . Told me I meed to shutup. I will be contacting corporate about this because he needs to be fired IMMEDIATELY. I was treated very poorly. Such an unorganized pharmacy! The place is messy and they have crap all over the place.. which leads me to believe they can easily get things confused. I had a scheduled appointment for my COVID vaccine at 6:30pm. I arrived at 6:00pm and they told me that I have to wait until 6:15pm to check in. I walk around the store and at 6:10pm they call me to say they ran out of vaccines and to come back the next day. I go to the back where the pharmacy is and I find that they were checking in others with appointments AFTER me and saying they still had it. When I asked why I was told they were out, they said that the last person they checked in was the last person. Completely unacceptable and makes bo sense. Mind you I am also pregnant so thank you for making me go there to wait only to be told it's not available. They need to work on their management or just close down this location. read more

Worst customer service ever. They really need to change management and hire people that want to help others with out attitude. I came in to get my 14 month old passport pictures. I was at the cash wrap waiting for someone to assist me, the cashier tells me that I can use a self check out and I told her that I'm not checking out that I need a picture taken for my daughters passport. The cashier replied "oh well you have to ask the person in the back , I don't know if she'll take it because yesterday she didn't take a picture of a baby". The other lady finally comes to help and asks me, if my daughter sits up.. I'm like yes. The entire time when she is taking my daughters picture she seemed annoyed, she was scaring my baby with her negative vibe. She snaps a few pictures and loads them into the computer and says that the pictures are bad. She hands me the camera and tell me to do it my self and to try. I take a few pictures of my daughter and hand her back the camera, and she says that the pictures were taken the wrong way. I said is your job to take the pictures, not mine. What am I paying for?. She was the only one on the sales floor and clearly can not work under pressure, there were clients asking for help while she was attempting to take a picture of my daughter and she was so frustrated. Has the lack of customer service gone down in the past year? Good gracious. I feel like I'm dealing with people who have no common sense! I stopped by here yesterday, with a coupon. I get coupons almost every other day and for whatever reason, I am told they do not apply to my purchases. Every time. So yesterday I go back with a 20% off coupon. I tell the guy this who has no clue and asks the manager. Manager comes over who has his mouth half full. They say there's no coupon on the account so I pull up the email and show him. His response "I'm sorry but it's not coming up in our system." So you're literally only relying on a computer? I've unsubscribed to their mailing list and will stick with target. I would give ZERO stars if I could. The few good working folks at this pharmacy are overshadowed by the many a- - clowns working there. They don't answer the phone when you call and cancel Rx's when you need a refill- no explanation. No call as to why - just cancel. If you're lucky enough to get a warm body on the phone they end up having the personality of a used tampon. If you can go elsewhere to get your Rx filled, I would highly recommend that. This place is such a mess, even before COVID they were terrible. Seems like staffing is a never ending problem. The pharmacy drive-thru line is always an hour (or longer) wait with only 4 cars in the drive thru. If I didn't have health problems that make waiting in long lines problematic, it wouldn't be that big of a deal for me. When you reach the window, there's usually nobody there until a kid without a single sense of urgency moseys on over. The only reason I ever end up here is when a prescription accidentally gets submitted here and it's not something that can be transferred. read more

I have been in drive through line for about good 30 mins as a second car and not served yet. It has happened to me before and that time they closed the shutter on me after making me wait for 40 mins because drive thru time was over. There is a high lack of management in the store. One time a pharmacy crew just went out of pharmacy to start chatting w a fellow stocker when there was a long line . I asked the pharmacists right now why it took so long and he stated that he is the only one working back there right now. I would not wish this store on even the people I despise! read more

I have no complaint with the pharmacist or the pharmacy at this store. They've been great but it is clear they need more help. They've been patient and helpful every time I've been. I've been going since they opened. I pass by 3 other CVS stores that are closer to my home to go to this one. I have high praise for everyone who works in the pharmacy. The store is another story. They employ mostly guys and all of them, excluding the one guy who seems to do all of the stocking and cleaning, are terrible. I've seen one woman once and she was actually helpful when I was trying to find something. Their customer service is worse than non existent. They are unfriendly, unhelpful, and try to act like tough guys. One guy in particular with long hair stands around and glares. Today was the first time I've ever seen him check someone out. On a previous visit I stood in line to have one of the guys check me out but he was too busy talking to his friend about being a personal trainer. The self check outs were busy and one person was having a problem with it and Mr. Personal Trainer couldn't have cared less. An older male employee walked up front behind the counter and didn't help anyone. He'd been outside. I abandoned my cart up front and left. As I leave long hair guy is standing in the parking lot. I have no idea what he was doing but there were customers waiting to check out inside. I think he thinks he's a bouncer at a club.. I'll continue to use this pharmacy but won't spend another $ at this store. Walgreens has excellent customer service. read more

They do not even rate a one star. The worst pharmacy I have ever experienced in my 79 years. Pharmacy manager is disrespectful. One hour in drive-thru pickup. Get to window and waited another 25 minutes without anyone coming to the window to acknowledge me. Drove to front of store and went inside. It got worse. They could not find my life saving medicines even though I had their email telling me to pick up my prescriptions. No manager on duty. Pharmacy manager made me wait another 15 minutes to talk to her. She then lied to me about why the drive-thru took so long. If you need to be abused, then come here. read more

No one knows how to ring coupons in, had one manager tell me "too bad, not working," and today was the last straw when it wouldn't even take CVS care number and the employee working had no idea what to do. Very unprofessional staff. What is wrong with CVS pharmacy. Today morning I called for the prescription refill and they said it will be ready in two hours. When I went to pick up staying in line for 30 min drive through, the person who seems like don't know what he is doing or anything informed that the prescription is not available because it's expired and doctor has to send the prescription again. My question is why can't I get the information in the morning itself, so that I would have called my doctor and all. If you ever need to speak to the pharmacy, you had better have at least a half hour to waste. At this point I have their robotic announcements memorized since I have spent hours in the past couple of months in attempts to talk to a human being there. They bounce you from one recorded announcement to another. None of them are what you want. Finally, after 20 minutes to a half hour, you are offered the option of speaking to someone. At that point you get a message that you can leave a voicemail. Occasionally, you can successfully get to talk to someone after a minimum of 20 minutes, but it's hit or miss. You may or may not get someone. I'm wondering how in good conscience you can treat people who may be ill like this. read more

Pharmacy needs better phone service system ! There have been times when no one actually has picked up the phone during normal business hours and I have actually called the store manager to have someone pick up the phone at the pharmacy department! I have been on hold for 6, 9 and even up to 15 minutes before someone can actually help. I am not exaggerating in the slightest bit. But that's not the reason I am writing this review this morning . I just went in to pick up some medications and had to use their restroom . I am appalled and shocked at the state of the bathroom . It needs an over all cleaning with "sanitation" in mind. The toilette and the sink needs a deep cleaning, there are actual stains on the wall and visible thick layer of dirt and dust. The toilet paper dispensers are empty. The store should be sanitized everywhere including and especially the bathroom during this pandemic . The managers of the store needs to be proactive in operation . They also need to adjust the pharmacy hours of what's listed on their website and the actual sign outside . All I can say is that CVS is generating enough income to do better ! Pharmacist arrived 10 minutes before the store's opening time. Let another customer in (someone she evidently knew) then locked the door behind her -without acknowledging those of us waiting. Ten minutes later, another employee unlocked the door - again, without acknowledging us in any way. The location may be convenient, but in the future, we will keep on driving. read more

I like the layout of this CVS. It's so spacious and the staff seem very friendly and helpful unlike at other locations. Also I'm just sick of the Ashburn Farm CVS which is so congested and busy all the time. It's so great to have another option for your quick shopping needs. Highly recommend. read more

I've had a horrible experience with this pharmacy when refilling my prescription for birth control pill. They had entered the refill information wrongly (it was supposed to be 12 month supply and they entered 1 month supply) so when I asked to refill the system showed that I wasn't eligible for it. I called the pharmacy and the pharmacist who picked my call was very rude, harsh and almost hung up on me, while in the other hand, I was being respectful to her. I informed how the prescription was time sensitive and yet the whole situation was only solved 5 days later, and I still had to wait for the shipping lead time, because all this was during quarantine of Covid-19. In total, all this delayed 10 days from when I should had started taking my birth control pill. I am tolerant with human erros, but I am not tolerant with people's rudeness and disrespect. So I will be transferring my prescription to another pharmacy. read more

First time I've ever written a review before. Terrible experience. Had an appointment for a flu shot that I signed up for on their website. Got there ten minutes early and waited in line for consultations where they gave shots. They would keep calling names to come get shots but I never heard my name and just figured they were running late. After 50 minutes they came out and said I needed to check in at the line that said "drop-off". There was no signage about having to do that. When I mentioned it to the Pharmacist and that I had an appointment she said they don't take appointments at that pharmacy. I went back to work and checked again (already had an appointment but wanted to see if I screwed something up) and you absolutely can sign up for appointments. I will never go to this pharmacy again. What a joke of a business. Wasted an hour because of their incompetence, lack of signage and BS about no appointments. For future reference, they should NEVER tell a customer they don't take appointments when the web site tells you to make an appointment and asks you to sign up for a specific time. Very unprofessional and misinformed staff. I came in w my daughter yesterday to purchase allergy meds I only had 100 bills on me at the time and gave the cashier one to pay for the $10 item. For some reason he saw fit to use the pen to determine whether it was counterfeit or not? It was an older bill w out the blue strip so maybe that is why I'm not sure, regardless the store manger then tells me the bill is fake bc the pen didn't show up correctly and it felt "too silky" mind you my sick child is in the cart and I just need her medicine and had no other way to pay for this. I then had to go deposit these bills back into my account (even though these were the same bills my atm gave me a day prior) and come back to buy the medicine. The bills were not fake and they're clearly not aware as to how the pen should show up on a counterfiet bill. The store manager, Whitney was extremely unprofessional w handling the matter and looked at me like I had six heads the whole time she was speaking to me. My job also deals w cash handling and there's no way I'd ever be rude to a guest if their card was declined, the bill was questionable etc. Will be furthering this w the store managers superior. Don't come to this location as the staff has no idea how to handle customers correctly read more
