I'm not a regular customer My doctor sent a prescription for me there by mistake but I said it's ok I'll go there. I'm calling to see if it's ready and you cannot speak to a human being. They want you to put in your phone number to look you up. Like I said you can't Speak to a human. So it Cannot find my prescription by my number!! What happened to using a customers NAME????? Sometimes people Need To speak to a person in the pharmacy. If you want less customers that's what you'll get because I won't be back and I'll NEVER use CVS again!!! It's ridiculous. read more

I go to this CVS on Long Shoals because it's near my home but friendly service is a lottery here. I've had instances were I have been treated with some rudeness and I don't know why. Maybe the staff person was having a bad day. Other times it's been okay. read more

After a terrible experience with Walgreens down the street I translated my Rx's here which Walgreens didn't send until I started barking 4 days later. I had been quite over $200 there for the prescriptions I usually pay $50 for a 30 day supply. Well at CVS today when they finally got my Rx's they filled it immediately and it was the same price for a 90 day supply!!! Not 30 but a 90 day supply through Good RX. WOW. This is my new place! The pharmacists at this CVS are just wonderful. I never have an issue. They prepare my prescriptions so quickly. They're thorough, knowledgeable and very kind - not a lot of fuss. They know exactly what to do and how to do it. Honestly, I haven't read any of the other reviews, but I can't understand why in the world this CVS, on Hendersonville Road, in Asheville North Carolina, has less than 4.5 stars! I give them five stars, I would give them 10 stars if I could. I feel as though I am welcome there. I feel as though I'm not a burden when other pharmacies treat me like I am or judge me. This CVS is better than any CVS I went to when I lived in Chesapeake, Virginia, it's better than all of the CVS stores/pharmacies I went to in the Charleston South Carolina area, when I lived there and it's better than any CVS I've had to go to when I was out of state for any reason. I've personally, never had to wait in line at the CVS. Literally not even one car in front of me. Well, actually, there was one car, one time but it was actually driving away as I pulled up. Not that a few cars would impact my review - still 5 stars! The gentleman pharmacist is so laid-back, but at the same time I always see him just working away and busy filling Rx and helping. I feel safe, knowing that he's filling my prescriptions. There was a lady pharmacist that has helped me before, she was very kind & and seemed to be excellent at her job. I really believe that gentleman pharmacist deserves a BIG RAISE...most likely both of the pharmacist that I've dealt with deserve a raise. I've just dealt with a gentleman more. I trust this pharmacy. I loved the fact that when I go there, I know it's not gonna be a hassle. I've never seen or heard a customer have a hard time with this CVS, attention to things like that, because I really take serious consideration about who I do business with...so I notice a lot of little details. I truly believe that people need to be really careful about which CVS they're reviewing, because there's no way that all the negative reviews for this CVS are accurate. Please be mindful of which CVS, or which location of any multi location business your reviewing, so people can really know. I don't usually leave reviews, but I felt I should give credit where it's due. My husband who chose to go inside the store today to pick up a prescription for me said that he felt a good energy when he walked in the store. He said the store was very clean and neat. He said that the associate smiled and welcomed him as well. He even had to use the restroom and he said it was very clean. I hope this helps someone looking for a good pharmacy with excellent associates. I have to say the pharmacist is 100% pure excellence when it comes to doing his job and I am pretty sure the lady pharmacist deserves the same recognition, because my husband said that he was pretty sure that the lady filled my Rx today, and he had no issues whatsoever. They had already run the prescription through my good RX - no problem! It was very affordable as well. Another plus, this pharmacy always puts the right caps on my bottles. Most of them don't remember that note in the computer. Little things like that are important - it's attention to detail for their patients. My family appreciates this CVS and it's all because of the excellent customer service and excellent people. All I've noticed is 100% excellence when interacting with their patients at the pharmacy. Not to mention, they have a wonderful selection of items in store. I sincerely appreciate this pharmacy. There's not many like it and it's all because of the people that work there. I've gotten Covid tests here several times (my elderly parents are in my bubble, and it makes them feel better for me to get regular testing despite my pretty strict practices). It used to be quick and easy - pull up, tell your name and DOB, swab, drop, go. Now they insist on handling my insurance card and driver license each time despite already having the insurance info uploaded through my appointment request and having seen my license several times. It took an hour for me to get through the line today. This is nuts! I'm going to have to figure out somewhere else to get tested. read more

This location should REALLY open earlier! Even if just at 7:30AM instead of 8. If you work at 8 then there's no way to stop by on the way to work to pick up a few things! read more

As far as CVS stores go, this one is pretty standard. It's always clean, well-stocked, and the employees are helpful. The one thing that I like is that they do have a drive-through pharmacy window, so you can quickly drive through and grab your prescription without having to wait in line. A few times I've had my dog in the car while picking up, and they've even given my pup a treat to munch on! read more

it is so morning to write reviews to stores everybody knows what they are about... i live next door, so CVS just happens. they have all the normal CVS stuff but are only open till 9pm they are open Christmas day though! the only thing i have to say about this specific CVS is that i m not using the pharmacy , i did once and didnt have to nice of an experience. i m german and moved to the states a couple of years ago, sorry but we have different Pharmacy where i come from, so when i told the people of the pharmacy there that i don't really have an idea what i m doing and how things work here, the main lady( at least it seemed she is) was outright snotty. she literally just looked at me up and down , took my prescription and walked away. i stood there stupidly until she shortly told me that i can pick my stuff up tomorrow. well then. picked it up, didnt come back, that easy... i still buy sponges or batteries there, the normal staff is nice , i even have a CVS card now, because i didnt want them to ask me for mine every time! read more
