Tyler was an exceptional employee who demonstrated professional and courteous service. He went above and beyond. He represents CVS well.

Exceptionally rude staff. I went to pick up a prescription which needed to be refrigerated. No one told me this consequently, the prescription sat out for a couple of days. When I asked the pharmacist about it, he said it wasn't his job to let me know that the prescription needed to be refrigerated. He said it was noted on the information. Yes if I had read the dense nine pages stapled to the bag the prescription came in, somewhere on that I would've seen that it needed to be refrigerated. When I needed to get the prescription refilled, I was told I could come in and pick it up. when I got there. It was not ready. The app showed it would be there the next day by 6 o'clock. This was confirmed by someone at the pickup desk. When I went the next day, again, it was not ready. The app now showed that the prescription had not yet been delivered to the pharmacy. Same thing happened the third day I tried to get it. I gave up and transferred my prescription to Wal-Mart. I've had several students who worked at the CVS pharmacy and told me they would never go there to get their prescriptions. As a retired healthcare professional, I can tell you this is no way to treat your clients. AVOID THEM, go somewhere else. read more

As others have said, go somewhere, anywhere else. Poor customer service. My toddler (16 months old) had a prescription needed for sickness after a doctor visit. Sent to this pharmacy which we tried to pick up after the appt (bit of a drive so typically enough time in between) and not ready. Ok, no problem. We'll come back before closing due to work. Called 25 minutes before close and said we were on the way, close to closing time and explained how we really needed the meds for our sons pain management. CVs is too big. Don't consider customers needs. If they don't have exactly what is prescribed they make no attempt to work out the issue, neither by telling the patent nor calling around. Had oral surgery needed steroid to reduce swelling. They just didn't fill and made us wait behind a huge number of people and finally said they would call around. Gould another CVs miles away. Called Dr who said the dosage they could fill would have been fine! My Dr offered to bring by the prescription ( for swelling) within an hour if the dumb CVS doesn't fill it. 7/22/24 I am having trouble understanding why this generation seems to no longer treat people with respect. This is my last review about CVS pharmacists on Long Shoals Rd in Arden N.C I am absolutely shocked at how I am treated by a female pharmacist every time I speak with her. This pharmacist is extremely condescending and I feel very disrespected. Almost angry to where I need to hold my tongue. I have wanted to change pharmacies because of her but I am unsure if I'll run into the same problem. Why is it that there is such disrespect these days. Never was it like this when I was growing up. It is a shame that there are no family owned pharmacies in this area like they have in Brevard. Corporate pharmacies don't care about how they treat their customer. I have been in customer service for over 35 years and never have treated the public with such disrespect as I have been at this Pharmacy. I went in today during lunch and saw that the pharmacy was closed. I asked a young lady why was it closed and would they be back soon. She said they were at lunch. I said really. She said yes, they are human shouldn't they be allowed to eat also. I told her that she was disgustingly rude. She smiled and said she wasn't. I said I need to speak with a manager. She said it was her. I'm moving our prescriptions. I saw the horrible ratings and ignored them. I see what they have low reviews. read more

I like to have confidence in the businesses I deal with and some, I expect total confidence. Pharmacies are one of those businesses and this one does not instill confidence at all. Prescription was there before they opened and called about an hour after. Once they found it, they told me about an hour, took my number and promised to text me when ready. Tried four hours later and could not get through on the phone so drove over. It was ready. The lady that served me was pleasant and I was out the door. Hey, it happens. Moving on until the directions(not on the bottle) did not align with what I was told at the doctor's office. This I confirmed with a call to the doctor. Again, moving on, until quantity of pills on bottle is 10 and all that I had in the bottle were 8. My goodwill is gone. I won't be back except to pick up the pills that I should have received. I know that businesses are struggling to find good help, but this is beyond unacceptable. read more

Second time I've came in around 7pm and they're closed. Their hours say they're open, yet they're not. I'm sick of this CVS it's always dirty and when it's open the people are unhelpful and slow. Don't go here go anywhere else. read more

Sloooooooowwwwwww pharmacy service. They really need to make the drive thru 2 lanes and not have one lane drop-off only. People taking covid tests at the drive thru clog up the whole line for 10-15 minutes. No way to escape once you're in the queue. No call to let you know they don't have the medications you need in stock. Only found out after waiting in the drive thru for 15 minutes that they didn't have the meds my dr. had called in the day before. Also, they fill refills even if you don't request them, which can mess things up if you are waiting for a mail order refill. Ugh. Do yourself a favor and just go inside, or better yet, somewhere else. read more

They will not take an insurance card number over the phone. This cause me to find out as I was trying to pick up prescriptions that they were charging twice as much as other pharmacies. They were extremely rude and un helpful. This store should be shut down read more

Rude & unprofessional to say the least. Filled a script with the wrong medication, then they didn't want to take it back and replace it with the right one. They actually wanted me to keep the wrong drug and pay them a second time to have mine filled correctly. A call to the area mgr. was unbelievable as he agreed they should charge me twice & I could do whatever I pleased with the wrong pills, according to him it was because I drove away from the window. Therefore they were mine, transaction complete. FYI, the back story goes like this: I was 3rd in line when I got there and there were at least 2-3 cars behind me when I left about 20 minutes later. After going home & on with my evening I didn't realize the mistake til bedtime when I went to take one of the pills only to see they weren't the right thing. Took them back the next morning & had this horrid experience. Maybe I should've just sat there at the window while I opened my bag to inspect whether my meds were actually my meds & had been filled correctly. I did solve the problem however. I called my bank and canceled the charge, then after having ALL my scripts successfully moved to another local pharmacy I buzzed thru their drive-thru line one last time & tossed their pills back thru the window and drove away... forever more! read more

My little dog Zoey needed a prescription filled. This CVS is within walking distance of where I work so after the vet visit I dropped the prescription off by the pharmacy in person. As it was not urgent I left it and told them I would come back by to pick it up later. I went to work and waited until after my next appointment and walked back to the CVS to pick it up. I got there at 2pm. I was told it was not ready yet and to sit down and wait. I sat there for 45 minutes as they filled other prescriptions and did one expedited that was incorrect. When I finally got called up the lady at the register was rude and gave horrible customer service. She kept helping other people instead of concentrating on my transaction. If your going to pick a pharmacy to go to CVS should be the one. It may all be automated but there is care behind the automation as evidenced by a recent personal call to check on the status of why an automated refill prescription was not picked up. If my wife was alone and I was gone I probably can rest assured CVS would be looking into and making a call to see if everything is ok. CVS combines the best of automated efficiency and caring to make it the place where we will get prescriptions filled if we need them in the future. This pharmacy is by far the worst pharmacy I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. When one of my prescriptions came back as not covered by insurance for some reason I asked if they could hold it while I called my insurance to deal with it. My insurance company informed me that they could override it and have it covered but CVS never ran it through. My insurance told me to call and ask if it was being denied by insurance because I was trying to fill it too early, so I call the pharmacy and ask "is the prescription not covered because I'm filling it too soon or they're just not covering it at all" before I even finished my last breath she replies "they're not covering it at all". So I call my insurance back and they're telling me that something is just not right and to transfer the prescription to a different pharmacy, so I do this and go Walgreens. Walgreens tries to fill it and says to me "you're filling it a little too soon so Insurance won't cover it, would you like me to hold it until it's ready to be filled so it will be covered?" THANK GOD FOR WALGREENS read more
