The parking lot feels like 5 o'clock traffic on 610, packed with the same people who apparently believe they're the only ones on the road. Unfortunately, that behavior continues once they get inside. Folks stop dead in the middle of aisles, park carts diagonally across entire lanes, and stare into the distance like they're solving international diplomacy instead of choosing between a 40-pack of granola bars and a barrel of cashews. Spatial awareness goes here to die. To be fair, the employees here are consistently polite, helpful, and somehow manage to maintain their sanity while directing human gridlock for eight hours straight. The store itself is also impressively clean, especially considering it regularly looks like the entire Gulf Coast showed up at once to buy mayonnaise by the gallon. And honestly, it's a fine store. If you're ever in desperate need of an 8-pound can of tuna, a case of Bavarian sauerkraut, or enough paper towels to survive a minor economic collapse, this is your paradise. The samples alone can replace lunch if you're patient and willing to circle the aisles like a vulture.

So why not go back again to see if it was their norm for service or a fluke. I had 4 prescriptions waiting for me. I called a day earlier and was quoted $60 using my RX card. I didn't tell them at the counter that I had called for a quote to see what I would be charged. I presented my RX card and Cassie proceeded to check me out. It seemed that she was having trouble with the computer because she re-entered the information several times. She finally quoted me $45. After saying wow I told her that I was quoted the $60 and that the RX card really does work. She said not really. She searched online and she herself got me the better deal. I was dumbfounded that she would do that on her own initiative and wasn't even going to say anything about it till I asked. That was the VERY BEST customer service that I have received. I found some lotions and mists that compliment some seasonal body scrubs and washes I recently bought really well. I came home with two of the candles, The Perfect Christmas and Lavender & Pine. They smell so good. My home is currently decorated for Fall but already smelling like holiday cheer. The workers were very helpful. There was a young lady with the most beautiful curly black hair that helped me pick out the scents to match my body washes and one of the cashiers was kind and patient with helping me sign up for their rewards program which allowed me to get an additional $10 off my total purchase. It's nice not having to go inside a mall to get to a B&BW. I'm sure I'll be stopping by fairly regularly to try out new scents and to replenish my current ones once they've run out.
