This pharmacy is absolutely terrible. They missed a counteraction with 2 medications for my son. They take forever to fill medications and have forgotten to fill medications. They (Techs and Pharmacy Manager) have been absolutely rude to us. This is a disgrace of a pharmacy. read more

I would like to rate CVS in Beaufort less than one star. It is THE WORST PHARMACY I have ever dealt with. I went in to pick up a script. As she was ringing up the purchase, I said that I would like to have another refilled. Without even making eye contact, she said, "Move to the other counter." I said, "This is the item I need refilling." I tried to show her the bottle, but she wouldn't make eye contact, but she repeated, rudely, "MOVE TO THE OTHER COUNTER." I waited at the other counter for 20 MINUTES while she took six other customers, three of whom came in AFTER I had been relegated to THE OTHER COUNTER. It was unbelievable. Finally, another pharmacy employee took my name, DOB, & drug requested. It took him all of 30 seconds. SHE COULD HAVE DONE THAT as I pick up the original script, but Nooooo. Every time my doctor sends in my scripts, they only full part of them. They the tell me the other 1 or 2 can't be filled, it's too soon. BUT if I go into their CVS app, I can push a button for them to fill the rest of the scripts they didn't. This has happened 3 times, I tried to discuss with them twice. The pharmacist wouldn't even listen to what I was saying, he insisted that they couldn't be filled, even though I could see they were available to be filled. So my doc sends them in and I have to go online to get them filled. I said if they continue do that I'm going to have to go elsewhere. He said good, he didn't want to deal with me. What the heck. He also tried blaming it on me. It isn't just me. A friend of mine stopped by tonight. She had asked twice for a script, that's she is out of to be filled. Today in the drive through they still didn't fill that specific one she's out of. Online says available to fill. They still haven't filled it after 2 requests. They are a complete waste of time. My husband is now driving 45 min to Morehead city to get them filled. It's ridiculous. read more

The worst pharmacy in the region! CVS as a company doesn't care about patients at all, but this pharmacy takes it to a new level. They are petty, and completely indifferent to the needs of the patient. They do not care how much they inconvenience the patient, their families , or the medical providers that are attempting to care for the patient. Most of the time they create problems seemingly out of spite. There are too many other options available to allow them to continue to get away with this shoddy service! Apparently 'I just told you. Don't you understand English' is an acceptable way for the gentleman behind the CVS Pharmacy counter to engage with a customer. My wife didn't get his name. But we will and we'll follow up. Moved our scripts out of CVS and will be sharing this incident with our neighbors. What a pro. Hope the guy isn't counting pills and filling orders. Not a bright one. called several times confirming that i could pick up my script at 7- i get there at 7, 2 hours before pharmacy closes. and the man tells me it is too late and he's the "only one" there so he can't give me my prescription. that makes absolutely no sense. he couldn't explain himself either..... there are multiple people behind him working so the excuse of being alone is just a lie. and correct me if im wrong but since the pharmacy is open until 9pm, i should still receive service @7pm. im guessing somebody wanted to go home early and doesn't care about anybody getting their medication the same man also made my elderly mother walk across the store from the pharmacy to the front counter to buy her items WHILE SHE WAS PICKING UP A SCRIPT. every single other time we have gone to CVS in the last 15 years, they are happy to check our items out. Worst CVS pharmacy and drive thru ever. always has a line around the building. Rude employees. window closes early. And don't blow the horn at them while the window is closed early, they will call the local police to you and the pharmacist can ban you from the store and the police will make you leave. I'm 54 and in a wheelchair. I primarily use the window for all my business. Never even spoke to anyone, but the police sure supported the pharmacist. even when they were clearly in the wrong. Called to check on a prescription and the lady on the phone was not helpful at all and extremely rude. I will be switching pharmacies.

I don't usually write reviews, but my experience at the CVS in Beaufort NC warrants it. Last Wednesday and Thursday, we dealt with pharmacists that were absolutely NO help. On Wednesday, the pharmacist said flat out NO, that she would not call my husband's Orthopedic surgeon to try and facilitate his prescription. He had seen the doctor that morning and a herniated or bulging disc was suspected at L3 level. Husband was in severe pain and had spasms for 4 days before he could be seen. We knew that a prior authorization would be required for the prescription because it was an opioid. When we asked the pharmacist to call the surgeon's office, her answer was emphatically NO, she wouldn't do that. We were not able to get through at the doctor's office and believed the pharmacist would be able to! At pharmacy closing time, my husband still had no pain med. The next day, we called not only the doctor, CVS and but also our Medicare provider. I spent hours on the phone trying to figure out where the issue was. At approximately 3:30 pm on Thursday, we were told the prior auth was approved and was at CVS for filling. A call to the CVS informed me that the pharmacist was the only person that could fill an opioid script and she was involved in giving flu shots until at least 6:00 pm. The pharmacy tech said to call back after 6:00. When I did call back, I was told it would be at least another hour. My husband finally got his pain med at 8:00 that night...36 hours after leaving the surgeon's office. When I went through the drive-through, the pharmacist happened to be the person that checked me out. I was not very nice...told her I had never had a pharmacist refuse to call a physician's office on behalf of a patient. Also told her that I would be moving our business to an independent pharmacy down the street. She replied that she was sure they'd love to have my business! Again, I was pretty upset over the entire issue and was not nice to her. I asked the Lord to forgive me and moved our business today! Do yourself a favor, take your business to a caring, independent pharmacy. The " mom and pop" drugstores actually care and will help you! We had never dealt with CVS before we moved here a year ago...never again! My husband is not a drug-seeking addict, hasn't had an opioid script since his hip was replaced 9 years ago. Maybe that's what the pharmacists thought and why they were so unwilling to help us! read more

This pharmacy has the most unprofessional staff I've ever seen. The old lady at the register Marilyn, had the worst attitude (like I forced her to be at work today. Scripts called on from E R b4 they opened . I called 5 times with no answer, before just deciding to got there . I get there around 1030 am told ok it will be about 20.mins..i wait, then wait some more finally about 25 mins later I go ask about my scripts.. to which Marilyn replied they aren't ready yet I didn't know you were waiting I will put an expedite on them for you, again waited another 20.mins. allll while.my husband is home suffering in pain. Once again The CVS Pharmacy had let my husband run out of his high blood pressure pills, and all they can say is they are working on it. Call 3 days ago and they said they were working on them and today till not done. Will be going to Wal-Greens from now on. For 30 years I have used CVS with no issues but this CVS for whatever reason for the last 4 months can not get their act together. People are playing with people's lives here, hire more people if you need too but people depend on Pharmacies to have their medicine ready before they run out. read more

After 2 weeks trying to get a prescription filled, I am giving up. I went in to pick it up after they called me to say it was ready and when I got there, they said the prescription had expired. What? So they said they would reach out to my Dr and request it be approved. Several days later, I called CVS to find out the status and they said they were still waiting on my Dr. So I called my Dr. who told me they approved it 2 weeks ago and then also confirmed that CVS sent them back an email confirming receipt of the prescription. I called CVS again today and gave them this information. I was told they didn't have any record of that so I told her my Dr. offered to give a verbal approval over the phone and she said she would call and get back to me. 3 hours later, I hadn't heard anything so I called back and talked to someone else and was told the same thing, they hadn't heard from the Dr. so I asked if they called her and they just said "we're still waiting to hear back". I have never had issues with CVS over the past 10 years that I have used them but this location is terrible and I will not use again. read more

Moved here over a year ago and started using CVS because they are closest to my home. Had to give up after a few times when things weren't perfect with insurance or they didn't have product in stock and there was no service. They will text you when they want your money but forget hearing from them otherwise. read more

The pharmacist was super accommodating and I had help offered right when I walked through the door.

Used to be good service but since they took over for medical park pharmacy service has gone to 0. If there was an option to put no stars I would. Will not answer the phone have even set on hold well over an hour no one ever picked up. Finally went to store every customer at the counter was either politely complaining or screaming. My wife has been without her blood pressure medication for a week. Was even told by employee they do not have time to answer phone. Another employee stated all they do all day is put up prescriptions that have been canceled...(I would assume from people tired of waiting!) Three other customers at the counter finally left claiming they were moving to another pharmacy. I as well am working on doing the same thing today. Taking on Medical Parks work load may have been some corporate big wigs idea of increasing business but when customer service goes to zero in the long run they are going to loose their customers. Saddest part about it Pharmacists and employees really do not seem to care one way or the other. Soo long CVS!!! Been Nice Knowing You!!! read more
