LOVE this CVS location. I have to admit that this location has gone through a lot of transition over the past year, but it is like night and DAY with the new staff and management. Every issue is communicated with me before I make the trip up here and the staff here are so polite and patient even though the issues are hung up on my insurance and is out of their control. Prescription sent to this CVS Pharmacy by my physician 3 days ago. Have called several times regarding status and CVS voice responses continue to indicate the prescription is under review. Called my physician and had the prescription canceled and moved to another pharmacy. Not good service by CVS. read more

this pharmacy sucks, was in the middle of talking to this tech girl, who seemed dumber than dirt, when she decided what I was saying wasn't important and started flirting with some male coworker while completely ignoring what I was saying. it was unbelievably rude. Waited in line in my car for 20 minutes, closed the grate in my face as I pulled up. Livid. Go in the next morning at 8am to get my prescription, the pharmacy won't open till 10am. Furious. Go in 3 days later and wait inside for 20 minutes while life stories are told to the Pharmacist. Done. read more

The pharmacists are knowledgeable, courteous, accurate and helpful. It can be very busy at times.

My charger died while I was out working so this CVS was literally on the corner so I decided to go ahead and stop in for a charger so I could continue working. I located a charger at the front of the store near checkout. The cashier was extremely rude. She didn't speak or anything. It was an older white female. My total came up to like $16. I let her know that the charger along with several of the same chargers that I was trying to purchase were marked $8.49, but it rang up was $14.99. Her response repeatedly was "do you want it or not?" Then she said people move stuff all of the time. I said I'm sure but this was about 8 chargers in the wrong spot which seems as if an employee did that. She again asked if I wanted it or not and that she couldn't change the price. I did advise she should move them then and she said "yea well". I purchased it because I literally needed my phone back up and running. I will never return to this store again. read more

This is the worst pharmacy to go to. This is the closest Pharmacy to me and I would happily drive out of my way to go somewhere else. Every time I go get my medication there is a problem. I work with the provider that sends my medication so there should be no problems. The pharmacist (the lady) is rude and so is the staff. They always end up refilling my medication after I have to argue with them for 10 minutes. They are never ready when I try to pick them up. THIS PHARMACY IS TERRIBLE. read more

Rude cashier!! My husband and I stopped here after I had a minor surgery for supplies for my wound. After we found what we needed and headed for the checkout, the guy behind the counter closed the register and WALKED off. We stood at the register for a short time before he wandered up and instead of opening up his register, he made us use self checkout. WTF!!!! You could walk to the front and tell us to check ourselves out???? We are NEVER going back to this CVS. What the heck happened to customer service???? read more

I had an emergency and I needed to see if any other cvs pharmacy had my meds in stock because they had to order it. And I've been on hold with the pharmacy for over an hour on the phone, and I physically cannot get up to go and see if they have it in stock. This is ridiculous, This isn't the first time this has happened where I've been on hold for over an hour. You need to better prioritize your time and figure out how to attend to each customer on a timely manner. I hope you hire better staff who can manage their time wisely. read more

We've been using this CVS to fill our prescriptions for the last 3 years and it SUCKS. Every single time we come to pick up a prescription we end up waiting in line for an hour or longer. No matter what time of day, no matter what day of the week, no matter if we go inside or wait in the drive thru... we wait forever. They are so slow. When you speak with the employees they ask the same questions over and over and they still get it wrong... that's what takes so long! Every time without fail. Last time I actually called ahead to verify they had my prescriptions ready for pickup because they never called or sent me a text and after waiting on hold for an hour they finally answered and told me yes... then I get there and wait another hour just for them to tell me they weren't ready. Do not go to this CVS. Go to a different pharmacy. read more

Morgen helped me at the pharmacy counter. My prescription was ringing up at 212.00 dollars which was way more than I can spend. Before I even said anything about the cost, Morgen said that she thought there was possibly a coupon available from the manufacturer. Using her phone, she quickly instructed me on the manufacturer's webpage navigation and showed me how to register in order to be able to get the coupon. After she showed me, I sat down and spent about ten minutes registering using my own phone. Once I completed the registration, a manufacturer savings program card populated on the website which had an ID number that Morgen used to determine the discount I would receive. It turned out to be a savings of TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS!!! Morgen, instructing me in less than 60 seconds, combined with the ten minutes I took to register, basically means that, if my calculations are correct, that at least for ten minutes, I was making 1200.00 dollars per hour!!! All because Morgen went the extra mile to see that an exorbitant amount of money for medicine, whether fair or unfair, did not get in the way of potentially life saving treatment!!! I was recently visiting Bedford at the Omni Hotel. I needed a prescription faxed from my Doctor. I received a telephone call from the pharmacy technician. She told me my insurance does not cover it because they don't work with CVS. I told her a competitor that my company insurance use. She was willing to call and fax the prescription. Now that is CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! read more

Marian at the check out has terrible customer service and is very rude. She made me never want to go to this CVS again. I waited at the photo counter for several minutes while she stood there talking to another employee. Then she came over to me and asked, "what do you need?" in a tone of voice that sounded as if she was irritated. Shouldn't she haves asked, "How May I help you?"... I mean it's obvious what I NEED if I'm standing at the photo counter. When I finally got to the car I looked at the photos. They were horrible. I didn't want to have to deal with Marian again but I had to return the photos. Again her service was terrible. She didn't apologize or offer to redo the photos. She just took her sweet time doing the return. Marian shouldn't be working somewhere where customer service is important. read more

If I could give this a negative stars I would. I dropped off my prescription at 6:30 PM and was told it would be ready at 8 PM. I showed up at 8:58 PM and was told that it was not ready because they were too busy and they were closing at 9 PM. The girl who was checking me out kept smiling as I kept getting madder and madder. She said that they were just too busy and couldn't get to my prescription. I told them that this was bull crap and that I was told it would be ready and it should be ready. The pharmacist came over and said there was nothing he could do about it because they were closing. I stopped using them almost a year ago because of incidences like this. I gave him another chance today because their prices were cheaper but that was my mistake. I will always use Walgreens they are very professional CVS is horrible. read more

The pharmacy staff here went above and beyond to take care of my son's medication. Nobody else had his antibiotic in stock, but the pharmacist and the technicians were able to fill the medications they had, and coordinated with the store down the street to have the other medication ready on way home. Definitely saved me after waiting for 4 hours in the urgent care! Will continue to do business here! read more

Worst. Pharmacy. Ever. Really. Thanks to my employer choosing CVSCaremark as our Rx insurance provider, I have no choice but to endure the horrid service and routine bullsh*t that is the trademark of this company. This particular location is the worst of the worst. What should be a simple refill becomes a major hassle every time. Their app is useless. It will tell you a day and time to pick up an Rx and you get there and the staff is clueless and your Rx is not ready. They say they electronically fax a refill request and my doc never gets it. Never have more than three people working. Usually just two. They usually don't speak good English. Never ask if I have questions. Usually don't even have my common meds in stock. Mostly carry generics. Can't figure out how to fax. Take forever to pick up the phone. Tried to get my scripts transferred to another pharmacy and they were on hold over a period of SIX hours when I checked. Sure it was more. They're rude and unhelpful. I've been to good CVS locations but this one alone is so terrible I'm changing companies. Also the drive through phone has been broken in half for a while. read more

The pharmacy here is an absolute disaster. Ancient technology for checkout, coupled with insufficient, and in some cases insufferable, staff yields slow service. By slow, I mean SLOW. I went to pick up a 'ready' prescription today, and sat behind ONE person in the drive through for 10 minutes, before abandoning ship and going inside. Once inside, the line of people waiting was four deep, and only one (friendly) and also frustrated girl was there checking people out at the pharmacy. The manager was soon called to assist, but he was barely able to navigate their ancient POS system there, and after waiting through mistake after mistake on his part to complete the transaction, he finally got it right and I bailed vowing never to go back. This isn't the first similarly bad experience I've had there. But, it's the last. I'm going right down Central to Walgreen's and get my script transferred. read more

I just moved close by and transferred my prescriptions because it is so convenient and close to my house. However, every time I have gone there to pick up something, it takes SO long in the drive through. It appears like no one in the pharmacy knows what they are doing and it takes a very long time to pick up anything, or they haven't gotten the instance correct. I now have transferred my prescriptions across the street to Kroger and am very satisfied. read more

This CVS is so incredibly busy that it is almost impossible to make contact with them to refull a prescription. I just called 18 times within 30 minutes and continued to get a busy signal. There is one and only one number to call in, even though there are different counters with phones (ie departments). Finally did get through and could not get the number of the prescription to take when typing it from my phone. They have put a letter ("C") in front of the number, and it will not submit. After much more time and now in tears, I called again waiting endless time for the busy signal to stop and get through. 45 minutes into this transaction, I got a pharmacy person. She was curt, short and took the number for me. Please keep in mind, I did not choose this pharmacy. A relative filled this prescrip for me, and it is going to take on it's own life for me to get these pain pills, I think. Please be aware that these things happen, and if you want an easy process and a way to get your prescrip filled fast, this store is not for you. I spent 1 hour 10 minutes at 10AM trying to get this information to the store by phone. I am no computer dummy either. I run 5 computers in my home office. It is frustrating to say the least. I would NEVER use this particular CVS again under any circumstances when this prescription runs out. read more

All of the bad reviews are completley accurate. The techs do not speak good English so they are very hard to understand, and they are far from friendly, in person and over the phone. I have tried going inside and using the drive thru, both take a ridiculous amount of time. When I switched insurance, they sent me an automated text saying I could update my info over the phone or on the app. So I called the pharmacy, the lady answered very quickly, talking very fast, I explained why I was calling, and she told me the only way to update that information is in person. I don't believe that, because of the text I recieved, also because other pharmacies I have been to will update your information over the phone. Then I explained to the lady, that I had received a text stating that I could change it over the phone, but the whole time I'm telling her that she is interrupting me trying to tell me no. So I just hung up, I plan to fill this prescription and then transfer it to another Pharmacy. I only chose this location for convenience, and because my previous Insurance preferred that I use CVS. But I can tell you that the Walgreens on the corner of Central and Bedford has a much better staff, and it's fairly quick for a busy Pharmacy if your insurance permits, I would recommend using Walgreens. Also, their pharmacy is open 24hrs. read more

Very pleasant experience I had here. Just like most of the other cvs pharmacy I go to the people are polite. I needed some Benadryl for my young daughter and she was sleep in the back, I proceeded to the drive thru. The pharmacist told me that he cannot get the Benadryl. He seen my daughter in the back and he quickly went and got Benadryl for me and my daughter. It made me feel valued as a customer that he took the time to do this for me. read more

This place is a joke. My doctor switched up my birth control, and the one he switched it to was out of stock. The first tech I talked to told me it would be there the next night. I called, and the next told me it would come in the following night. It is now the following night, and it is still not in stock. Not a problem, I'll call another pharmacy to have it transferred. The new pharmacist tells me there's a hold up because CVS isn't answering the phone. After an HOUR AND A HALF, I call CVS and when I tell them the new pharmacist has been trying to call, all the CVS employee said was "Yeah, we're BUSY. tell him to call again." I'm sorry, no one has all the time in the world to chase you down, CVS. Not only are the employees here incompetent, they are rude. read more

CVS Pharmacy is AWFUL! I called to get the refill for my son's Tamiflu and after the pharmacist on duty finished complaining about having to compound the medicine, she said to give her until 6:00 to get it done...did she mention to me that they close at 6:00????? Nooooo!!! I show up to get it and found out they close at the time she told me it would be ready, are you kidding me??? They had a momentary lapse with helpfulness a few days ago but today's example is typical of the awful service they provide. Stunningly awful service! read more

I had a cut in my calf and I had it sewn up at the dr. Office. They told me to get my antibiotic and go home and put my leg up. One of the pharmacy workers said if I came inside I might get it as soon as 20 minutes. I waited 1 1/2 hours in the pharmacy to get my meds. That is rediculous. Not a happy CVS customer. Became a CVS "member" to save. Signed up last week, go in today to buy something, tell them I'm a member and give them my number. Manager says its not in the system. Told him he signed me up last week and said it takes some time to show up. Get home look at the receipt, and did the manager bother to scan the dummy card so I could get my member price? Nope! Charged me the "common man" price. Thanks for wasting my time to sign up and then not take the time to give me my discount. Hope the $2 was worth it! I'm a WALGREENS man now. So long CVS. I find it depends entirely on who's working. Some people recognize me and call me by name. Others I've been known in the front of the store to simply leave things on the counter and walk out and take my business to another CVS. Some of the staff are just not people-friendly. I find the pharmacists always helpful and overloaded with RX to fill. I have mine on auto refill so they text me when it's ready and I swing by to get it. Recently they offered to do a flu shot so I got my annual flu shot from the pharmacist at the same time. I work hard to treat staff as people with real lives and needs and it pays off with the ones who have a sense that they're serving the public. Others have just seemed hopeless to me. I have ZERO trouble with the international staff they have and respect the skills particular pharmacists bring. In fact, I've had conversations about their country of origin and my own international travel to those places. read more

I agree with the other 1 star reviews. They are frequently out of stock for many of my medications and require anywhere from 1 day to 1 week to get the medication. The staff is slow. They are not helpful in locating another pharmacy to find a medication they don't have in stock. Their data base for my prescriptions bears no resemblance to the one in my CVS on-line account. I have frequently made printouts from the web site and taken them to the pharmacy to try and resolve the problem. Once I had to force them to keep going farther into my data base to find 4 new prescriptions that were waiting to be activated. read more
