I placed a order here to pick up print paid online to make the process faster . When I arrive the worker said he can't do it because the system is down . I asked how I would be able to refund . He said he didn't know but he could cancel . I followed up with also asking when I was going to be informed he didn't have an answer to either . I hadn't been able to use this pharmacy since my insurance changed however today I needed to have a prescription filled for my niece who has TriCare. The staff at this store is very friendly and helpful. I miss going to this pharmacy! Today's customer service was very good. They had an issue with the insurance but were able to get it figured out. The good is the staff is very knowledgeable, but you have to pry it out of most of them. It is a busy location so they don't just offer up the information. Ex: my bill was high, I questioned it before paying, he said the rate with the discount. I said what discount? What's the rate with my insurance? He repeated himself as he walked around the back. I was rudely handled and yelled at by pharmacist Bristi who got loud with me when I asked if my information was in their system. She was also rude to another customer at the register next to me. I also found out that the insurance information was not put into the system and I was overcharged for my prescriptions. After doing research I found out that the price I was supposed to pay which included my pharmacy card should have been $4.81 but instead I was charged 4x at $15.00 (see attached pictures). I spoke with Pharmacy Manager Amr Gomaa. who was rude as well. I don't want anybody else to experience this level of unprofessionalism and illegal practices since I was not consulted about the medications either. I filed a complaint with CVS corporate, and I will also file complaints with the State Pharmacy Board, FDA since it involves drug safety, the DEA since it involves a controlled substance and improper dispensing since no consult was done, the State Health Department due to the pharmacists actions, and local ABC, NBC, CBS, & FOX news affiliates. read more

My healthcare provider sent enough of my prescription to last me months to them but they won't fill it. I have asked for call backs that I didn't receive. I tell you what, I'm going to bite my tongue while writing this review. I had the hardest time with this pharmacy, it helped me understand why many people do not favor CVS (pharmacy). I take a medication that is currently on backorder, CVS was the only one who had it in stock. Because of that, they had to reach out to my pharmacy to transfer my prescription. I got there around 10 a.m. (Friday) and was told it will take several hours and I could pick it up, that evening. This was said to me by the pharmacist, he even stated where I was in line of transfers. I went to pick up my medication, it wasn't transferred after being told it would be ready that evening. The pharmacist who was working that evening, was very rude and acted as if she couldn't be bothered. It was forty minutes prior to them closing, she could have contacted my pharmacy and completed the transfer while I waited. While the pharmacist went on her rant about how busy it was, I called my pharmacy to see if they could just take my phone and complete the transfer that way, not even that worked. The pharmacist then went on to say I could contact their 24 hours pharmacy and have them transfer and fill there; she really didn't want to be bothered. Who would think, you doing your job is you being bothered. Find a new a new job! I called the next day (Saturday) to see if it had been transferred, guess what? No, it still had not been transferred. I was livid at this point, the young lady I spoke to listened to me and had it transferred and filled, within 40 minutes. I really wish I remember her name; she is the reason I gave them two stars, and not one. This was a horrible experience; I really hope my medication is in stock with my regular pharmacy next time, I never want to deal with CVS again! read more

My issue is primarily with billing in conjunction with a Minute Clinic visit inside of this CVS store. My wife went in for a TB test last December which was required for a meditation type retreat in Northern California. I paid cash in full for the visit and now, out of the blue, I'm getting an email wanting an extra $60 for that visit nearly two months later. How is it you pay cash (no insurance involved) for a service, and they come back two months later demanding ($60) more money? The pharmacy staff are overwhelmed and show it. They make me feel worse than I feel when picking up 10+ prescriptions. Rude comments on the quantity are just that, RUDE! It doesn't matter that I spend (or my insurance company) $1500 a month on my scripts, no appreciation of the business. They wait on drive thru first before attending to line of customers inside the store. Don't even get me started about their App, it's down often and is very slowly updated. Store inventory is hit or miss compared to other CVS locations. They always want you to self checkout but their systems do not function easily. Forget it if you're using a coupon. Check out what others are also saying here... not great. You'd think some upper level managers would try to make this store better but they obviously don't. I'm giving three stars because Cynthia was great but the entire time I was shopping in the store I could hear the store manager all over the store no matter where I was. He was ranting at her, about customers, using derogatory language to describe customers and punctuating almost every sentence with the f word. I started listening because he was talking about coupons and saying ..."we need to weed out this garbage these people are like a cancer. it's no wonder these b!&ches drive from mesquite because other store managers figure out that they're just garbage and then they come here... blah blah blah." something about coupons something about don't scan an effing thing until you read all the coupons etc. Another customerwho could also hear him and looked at me mentioned that she had been there earlier in the evening when he berated her in front of customers. to be clear regardless of what the company policy was the way this manager behaved was not only inappropriate but he appeared really amped up, fired up, loud and unkind. A bit Trumpy TBH. I love coming to CVS I love extra bucks. I love figuring out how to get the deals and I love the clerks who excitedly help me. I seriously wondered how a CVS could possibly get all the way down to one star. You'd think a chain store like this would have enough QA in the background to maintain a solid three. Nope. For its location, you'd think this store would be a higher priority for CVS as a whole, but it wouldn't appear as such. Long lines, out of stocks and tired surly employees are the norm. We've never had a prescription available the day it was sent over here. They always have to "order it." Very odd since locations in much lower volume areas do a far better job. The last two times we've been in this CVS, the pharmacy has been closed during published pharmacy hours because of "lack of staff." No apology, nothing, just a shrug of the shoulders. They may as well remove the word pharmacy from the building. Another issue is frequent out of stocks. Their shelves are regularly bare and you definitely can't come in counting on leaving with what you needed. The staff tends to be uninterested and seems constantly overworked. Definitely do not project a United customer friendly front. There's a Walgreens just up the street. Do yourself a favor and skip CVS. read more

You're pharmacy sucks. They never have half of the prescriptions in stock and I am always waiting on my child's nebulizer solution or prednisone. The Minute Clinic here is trash. You schedule an appt and then show up to be told your appt code is expired and then have to wait in a long line to be seen. The doctors talk your head off more than they actually access you. A doctor told my child and I she didn't have strep or pneumonia and that she was perfectly fine. I go home with her and a day later, she was in the hospital with both! read more

I was told my regular medication (that is absolutely necessary) could be transferred to a pharmacy that had it in stock. Guess what? It hadn't been transferred. We gave the pharmacy a coupon that we received for a very expensive medication at 11:40am, it was promised within the hour. We came back at 4pm and they had no idea what we were talking about and tried to charge us $200 for a $70 medicine. When we came back the next morning to fix it, they said they no longer had the medicine available! Came here for earplanes. They had what I was looking for which was great. They had some CVS brand as well. This was the first store since I came to Texas and everything looks similar to the one in California. I was hoping I would find some souvenirs here or at least some exclusive snacks or food only found in Texas. I couldn't find anything I haven't seen before which was disappointing. I went in for the minute clinic to get a flu shot. There was a handwritten sign on the kiosk that said "we are full come back tomorrow". Ummmmmmmmmmm................? First that was just tacky. B...well that was unprofessional. It turned me off. I was mad too because I needed to use that last little FSA money at CVS to get a heating pad. Which by the way didn't work, I ended up having to go to Walgreen's anyway and had no problems there with my FSA purchase, but I digress. They were horribly understaffed for a Sunday and not too happy that I asked a pharmacist to help me with my flu shot. B. They are FREE FLU SHOTS...it's not your money and this is what you are getting paid to do. Stop being salty about doing your job folks, that runs me hotter than fish grease. I almost left, but they had already ran my insurance and had me waiting behind their makeshift clinic behind the blood pressure monitor. She was a little nicer once she came out but still.......when I left the line was almost into the greeting card isle which made me happy that I don't get my prescriptions from there anymore, because it was so chaotic. Also the FSA thing got under my skin with the heating pad. Same exact heating pad, same price and Walgreen's had no problem ringing me up with an FSA eligible receipt. So boo to you CVS. Went to the minute clinic today with my fiancé who was sick and I can say this is the most disorganized place I have ever been to we have been up and down all day trying to get his medication that he was prescribed and was told it was ready at the cvs when we called because they never cancelled it to send it to Walmart so we just decided to pick it up there and once we pull up at the drive thru they ask for payment and guess what they freaking canceled it ! And they somehow couldn't just refill it there even when we asked if they can just fill it there because we have been to Walmart and they never received it...
