This experience was so positive, we are considering moving our other pharmacy needs to this location. I was tempted to remove a star on this review as my husband's prescription could NOT be dispensed immediately as the pharmacist was on a break (short staff at this location). That was a bit alarming at first but my husband's pain was controlled well at that point and the wait was definitely on the shorter side of the range I was given. The staff sent me a text message when the prescription was ready. While I waited, I found several other items that my husband had requested. Those areas of the store were nicely stocked (no empty shelves here!) I had a $10 off coupon which I used (with purchase of $40 or more) very nice!

I go there weekly for my shipment pick ups, and the staff ( tall young guy) is just impolite and short fused. The worst part of it all is, forget the young guy--- the lady manager with the blonde hair is even worst. You would think Management would at least care and be a bit more responsive but not at this post office! Whoever owns this business, put some cameras up to watch your employees! You will lose business if you do not show the customers some polite and kind gestures. Oh! And forget about calling them. They usually do not pick up. You can leave a message, but they will NOT return your call. Where I come from- customer's give companies business, therefore, customer service is very, very important. Yesterday I was at this location and made a simple return and purchase of a more expensive item. I…read moredebited my purchase with my bank card and the POS machine showed that it was approved. The cashier however could not get the register to print a receipt so she called the manager. The manager insisted that the purchase amount did not go through the system so once again I made the purchase with their POS direct debit system. After returning home, I checked my bank account online and indeed the purchase had gone through twice. I returned today and spoke to their Dept. Manager Chris, who looked up the information on their system and told me that it was only charged once, even though I had printed proof of my banking statement with me. He then proceeded to call my bank and they would only speak to me about the information but insisted that yes indeed, I had paid twice! He still would not refund the one amount and insisted that I had to wait until he had received information from his head office about the situation. This was totally unacceptable and a very disappointing way of treating the customer even though he was the one that made the telephone call to my bank and I also came with the written proof from my account that I had indeed been charged "twice". Unbelievable customer service!!!!!

I came here looking for the Nivea Care lotion, which is not available in the US. The store is very clean and well organized. I was impressed by the selection of merchandize. Not only did I find what was looking for, I was able to find a Nivea Care lotion gift set. The lady at the cashier was very friendly and helpful. She explained to me how I can earn points with their shoppers card and get a discount. There was no form to fill out. She simply scanned a new card. I registered it online when I came home. Their hours are great, too. They are open until midnight. They even have a post office (Canada Post) inside. Stay away from the Post Office there, They just cost me several hundred dollars by not following…read moretheir own directives and returning a package to customs instead of deciding on their own to return it to the US. Canada Post weekly horror story. After having a repaired watch returned from the US with $700 of incorrect duty on it. the mail carrier said to return it to customs for a review. After waiting a day, I went to the Shoppers Drug Mart PO, at Semiahmoo where they argued with me that I would have to pay the duty or they would return it to the US. When I showed them on the package the option to return it to customs they reluctantly agreed to. but never did. When the Customs superintendent at Richmond called them about why it never arrived they then promised her they would get it to her. They never did. After a couple of work tickets and promises made both to me and the customs officer. Canada Post finally said to me it was probably lost and to file a claim. The customs office just called me and said that they had indeed not told the truth and had shipped it back to the US where she located it in Seattle. Since I know from experience that shipping expensive watches from Canada costs several hundred dollars, I will now have to eat this, due to Canada Post. I would like to say I am waiting to see how they make this right, but knowing them, they will leave this expense to me alone. In short if you care about your package don't entrust it to CP who will not make things right when they alone screw up.

You get the feeling that everyone, especially the owner/head pharmacist take great pride in the welfare of their customers as a whole. Whether it's giving you a critical printout of all the information about your prescription, to giving an extra moment of their time to someone who just needs a bit of reassurance and that human touch at a time when they really aren't at their best. Most people who come to this pharmacy are getting a rx to help deal with a particular ailment or condition, and the staff show you that they are committed to ensuring that you receive the best possible treatment and information possible. I am being unusually effusive because twice, through information given from the staff was I able to make a moreI informed decision about a treatment proscribed by my doctor. I feel they saved me from a host of problems further down the road if I hadn't been made aware of the full spectrum of effects of certain meds. I can honestly say I would (and routinely do) trust them with my family's and my life.
