Completely Incompetent Pharmacy I was on vacation in LA and needed a specially compounded prescription because, unfortunatley, I hadn't brought enough capsules from home. I called my Dr. in AZ and had a prescription sent to this Benzer location on a Monday morning. I called Benzer before 9 AM that same Monday and gave them everything they needed to send the prescription to me in NOLA, the address, room number, credit card, phone number, everything! Tuesday I followed up, reconfirmed the address...not ready. Wednesday 3:30 PM called to follow up, not ready but "they'll try" to get it out because I'm leaving Friday. I asked her to call me to confirm if they could get it out. An hour later someone called, but I didn't hear the phone. The message was "we close in 30 minutes call to confirm where you want the prescription sent." THEY ALREADY HAD THE INFORMATION FOR THREE DAYS AND I HAD CONFIRMED THE ADDRESS TWO TIMES! The end part of my trip was severaly compromised without the medication. I just wish someone had used common sense, read the infromation that I gave them and sent out the prescription before it was too late. I was disappointed and really angry that I took the time to make sure they had everything they needed right off the bat and they couldn't follow through. Luckily, I have access to much better pharmacies in AZ.

I VOW IF YOU give them a chance, let them get to know you and you them...EQUALLY, then I assure you you'll be highly satisfied as well. I have had some associates "turn over" as they share them amongst other store locations at times, but when someone I give a chance to DOESN'T get it and DOESN'T TRY, DOESN'T look upon CUSTOMERS AS HUMANS instead of a dollar amount or what it is they're taking and casting judgment, then I assure you.....I've been on the phone with corporate office myself after unfair and unjust treatment AND I WILL continue to be the fighter for the underdogs! Let's just say those times, those people weren't rotated back into the mix of my local location....or think any others, if memory serves me right. If I had to change RXs AGAIN....and had to start over...I promise ya, I'd be on guard 24/7!

There were at least 8-12 cars parked for pickup and nothing was happening. I almost canceled my order a couple times. I am a Sam's Plus and never have had to wait like this. I even called the store number and employee said they are short handed and getting a lot of complaints. I found out Plus members used to be the ones who got curbside service but now everyone can get it! If you are going to do that...I will not be using curbside anymore, you had one employee who finally showed up with someone's order. He was swamped. You need to hire 8-10 employees if you let everyone do curbside. That was not fair to the employee who was working past 8pm and after and said he got off at 5pm. I did not get all the items I ordered and will be reconsidering my membership renewal. I had great service with a "home delivery" from Sam's since I recently had broken my wrist. The previous curbside awhile back went smooth. I know we had cold weather/freeze alerts but that didn't come until Friday evening. I had been hearing some complaints from others but did not know how bad it is. Management needs to hire more workers if you allow everyone to do curbside service. Finally some gal came out to help the nice young man who was pulling groceries and loading cars. My app said my order was ready... I left work early to get my groceries and then sat there, didn't get them till 815-8:30pm and I needed the assistance with the "heavy water" my arm is still healing ‍.

You can never get a refill by waiting or even the same day. Instead, they order the medications, which come a few days later. They are supposed to text you when ready, but often I didn't hear anything back. And it is nearly impossible to get through the automated phone system to get an actual human pharmacy worker on the phone to check on a missing prescription. They auto refill things I don't need yet: I am swimming in nitroglycerin, which I rarely use. Yet, I never got a heart medication needed to lower cholesterol & triglycerides, help prevent clotting/reduce the chance of another heart attack/more stents/bypass, even after my insurance company called them to say it was approved. They said it was backordered from the supplier--for weeks. I took it across the street to a different pharmacy and got it the next day. Another annoying thing: The phone "bot" would say i had a script that was ready to be filled, but not say what it was. If I answered yes, fill it, the AI bot would then say it was too soon, that they would need to contact my provider. This happened every time I called. I think the workers are trying their best, but the system is flawed. I do not recommend this pharmacy.

They even have beer and a small liquor section. If you need a Perscription filled, or just need some Advil on the way home, this is a very convenient option for your all of your personal needs.
