They helped me find information on my prescription drug coverage when I started all kinds of fertility injectables. One snowy day I knew I was going to be a couple minutes past their closing time and had to get my prescription for that day. I called and let them know I was 10 minutes out, and they actually stayed open for me, which was beyond my expectation.

Prices are never what is marked on the shelf or on sale. Floors are dirty. I do like the clearance shelf at the end of aisle 1. Some stuff is at giveaway prices. They seem to always be understaffed and turnover is rampant. The automated phone calls and texts are nice when a prescription is ready but overkill when you don't pick up immediately. It is a small Walgreens. It is super close. Pick up the parking lot of garbage already.

First, it took an hour for them to fill the script, BUT THEN, when I got home I discovered that the pill count was 18 instead of the ordered 20. I went to speak to the manager and explained the shortage to her, but I walked away empty handed. I get it: people can try to scam pharmacies for extra pills, but the fact is I could always get more from my doctor and it only cost 10 cents a pill after insurance. So why would I go there? That Walgreens clearly has a dishonest employee. I would avoid them until they get their ranks cleaned up.

They did not fill the prescription wrong, but rather gave her someone else's medication! I still can't comprehend how this happened with all of the questions they ask regarding address and phone number. The most concerning thing was when I reached back out, the store manager stated that this has happened before and will likely happen again, due to mistakes. I understand that, but the nonchalant attitude of the staff, with the store manager leading the way, is dangerous. We will never use Walgreen's Apple Valley, and will question using Walgreens again. It's also a nice reminder to check ALL medication before using and don't simply rely on professionals to provide it.
