There is some street parking as well as some paid ramps. I came in on a Saturday morning around 10AM. By then, it was busy, but I was able to still find a seat. The staff were kind and I think as pleased with the number of drink options as well as pastries - gluten free, too! I enjoyed a seasonal lemon bar latte (yum!) and a gluten free banana chocolate chip muffin. I will likely be back. The coffee is great, the parking situation is just a bit weird.

I used to live in the area and when the small coffee shop opened I was so exited to have that in our community and was happy to support them - even if some coffee beverages were top dollar. I was in the area today, and decided to stop in since I no longer live in the area and wanted to enjoy a good brew. Unfortunately, the experience I had left me leaving with a bitter taste in my mouth - and it wasn't from the coffee. I thought it goes without saying, but when a customer greets you, you should greet them back, not just stare. It would be even better if your staff would greet each customer first - make them feel welcome. Maybe I'm a millennial channeling boomer energy, but for years I'm noticing the customer service disappearing from a lot of businesses. I love that connection, but I'm understanding that some people see only a paycheck and skid by with minimal customer service and that is the new way. I don't plan to visit this establishment again. I wish the barista with star tattoos would have put in enough customer service energy that she did with her impeccable makeup.

First things first--the vibe is chef's kiss if you're into cozy, low-key, intentional spaces. It's quaint without trying too hard, and it doesn't have that loud, chaotic coffee shop energy. I was actually able to focus, which says a lot. Now what really sets this place apart? It's tucked inside Zawadi Center, and that matters. This isn't just a grab-your-drink-and-go type of café. You're surrounded by culture, community, and a space that feels like it means something. Between the event space, the restaurant, and the overall energy, it feels layered... like you accidentally found a hidden gem that locals want to keep to themselves. The refresher? Solid. Did what it needed to do. No complaints there. If I had to give a little Yelp Elite honesty: seating can be a bit limited depending on timing, and if you're someone who needs complete silence, this might not be your spot when it gets busier. It's more "focused but alive" than "library quiet." Overall, this is the kind of place you come to reset, get a little inspired, and maybe romanticize your life for a couple hours. Will I be back? Absolutely.

The chai was delightfully complex with notes of cardamom and other spices. Not too expensive for the sizes of the drinks. They have kiosks to order outside or you can go inside the cafe to order. There's lots of seating area with music playing in the background. I do wish there were more savory options for pastries though.

Droolin' Moose - Many flavors to choose from

The in-laws being in town was the exact excuse I needed to finally stop in here, and oh heck yeah,…read moreI anticipate many future stops. The place doesn't have a big footprint, but it doesn't need to. Types of chocolates are arranged based on their flavors, like those with peanut butter, those with fruit, those with mint, those with fudge, etc. Trust, there's plenty to choose from, and each flavor has a bin of samples available for you to try. I didn't wanna go TOO ham scarfing down sample after sample, limiting myself to four in order to make a decision about what I wanted to bring home (the winner ended up being Orange With Envy Pecans but the Yellow Jackets were tempting). Pricing is a little steep, but you're getting a really good quality product that's produced locally, supporting a small business. I've been weening myself off generic candy (like Nestle and Mars) because it may be cheap but it just isn't quality or that satisfying ultimately. So I'm glad to have found the Droolin' Moose (which is conveniently about a five minute drive from my house) as an alternative temptation. They do have a loyalty program with a stamp card so that every twelve cups you buy, you'll get lucky number thirteen for free. Huzzah! Yes, all the candies are packaged in cups, which have a fun new design for each season! A little something to collect if you want. ;) I also noticed their catalogue which had many boxes or options to bulk order that reduce the price some. They also offer shipping, which may prove dangerous for my in-laws visiting from California, LOL. They also had various apparel for purchase, as well as greeting cards and little plush moose. The employee working there was courteous and helpful, taking the time to explain the store to us since we were newcomers. The parking lot at this location is quite dinky and only fits five or six cars. Turning in off busy Lyndale can be a smidge nerve-wracking, just be warned.

There's also a spacious free parking lot, which made the visit even more convenient. One of my favorite things was being able to sample different chocolates and candies before deciding what to buy. My top favorites were the Big Shots, the combination of rich milk chocolate and coconut was absolutely delicious. The Cherry Bombs were another standout!! the chocolate covered cherries were so good its hard to have just one. I was also pleasantly surprised by the Yellow Jackets. I wasn't sure if I would like them, but they completely won me over and will definitely be on my must buy list the next time we visit. They were crunchy and the lemon flavor wasn't artificial at all. Whether you're looking for a thoughtful gift or simply want to treat yourself, this is a great place to stop. The quality of the chocolate is excellent, and for the amount you get, I definitely think it's worth the price. We'll definitely be back!
