Ok here is the truth and I have lived here for decades. This CVS is located in a central location with MANY customers. This pharmacy is always packed with RXs for pickup They really do fill out many RXs. I have had pharmacy staff give me price prior to filling when costly to help estimate price during pickup. They consult you about your RX information, if they need they will get your RX filled quick. Very nice staff over the years. read more

I am truly glad that I swithched my pharmacy from Branch Ave Clinton, to CVS Allentown Road. Totally different atmosphere. after many many many years I finally got fed up of the condescending attitudes of not all but most of the pharmacist and employees at the pharmacy register. Enough is enough. The counter assistance to the pharmacist 2 new ones now to I believe he maybe a manager or assistant. His name is Terrell. I will ever be grateful for his attitude. I am going through some walking issues and I was using the basket to help me as I was walking thru the store. when finished shopping I started gathering my packages and to put the basket back in place. Terrell walked up and said you can leave your packages in the basket and take it out to the parking lot and ill get the basket. What a great relieve that was and help to me. The pharmacy is almost always very busy but the staff people are nice and working hard.

All of the other reviews pretty much nailed it. HORRIBLE pharmacy. There's always a huge line. They are slow. They are always out of medications. It has been WEEKS since they "put in an order" for the one medication I need. I finally asked to have it transferred to another CVS that did have it in stock, and he said he transferred it over. It never happened. The store is always dirty and unkept. This CVS is convenient to where I live but I refuse to shop there anymore. read more

Poor customer service - no sense of urgency - seems like no organization what so ever. Takes forever to pick up my meds when on site and mostly 1 person working when line is long. not efficient at all. Several times my prescriptions being charged even though I have my insurance info already in the system - counter productive and such a waste of time. Who is in charge of managing and training the staff? Waited 15 minutes to drop off a prescription with 1 person in front of me and 3 CVS workers behind the pharmacy. Service was not good at all. Came back 3 hours later and my checkout experience was another 15 minutes. One of the worse I have seen. read more

When you drop off a prescription and no one is waiting..the pharmacist tells you it will be 1 1/2 hours for your prescription..ask you for your number to text you when it is ready...you wait 2 hours and call for them to tell me it is ready...never got a text msg...then when I get there line is long..when I finally get to counter they tell me it has to be verified...what?...you have now had 5 hrs to filll this prescription...can we say thank good I did not need it to live...EPIC FAIL... read more

Pharmacy is TERRIBLE and slow. Filling prescriptions seems to take a very long time. I'm not sure if it's the staffing or the mangers. This CVS was so much better at one point. I'm not sure what happened. One of the cashiers in the pharmacy doesn't have a friendly face nor a pleasant voice. Very monotone and unapproachable. I have currently been waiting on my little prescription for about 30 minutes now. This is absolutely ridiculous! Go to another CVS pharmacy to fill your prescriptions. As far as shopping. This CVS is good. The front cashiers are very nice and friendly though! read more

It's not the worst but it is slow. Call in advance or wait for pick up you're still going to wait. The pick up should have more than one person when the customer line extends down the aisle. We have to do better. read more

This place gets worse and worser. I waited in line for a prescription pickup 20 minutes with one person in front of me with three other employees behind the counter. You would think they would have common decency and professionalism that when a customer has an issue and is taking a higher amount of time to service that instead of everyone else in line suffering too that they would open another register I guess that is too much like work. read more

This was one of the worst pharmacy experiences I ever had. My doctor put in the order 4 days prior and when I called to follow up, the pharmacy still did not have the order processed. I was initially on hold for 20 minutes and that's with someone picking up and saying "Hello can you hold". I hung up and called back and let them know I was on a 20 minute hold and there was no apology just attitude. In this conversation the tech named the prescription and asked me to bring in my insurance card 5 Times. Despite their thoroughness for ensuring I would bring my insurance card so they would be paid, I get there 2 hours later to first be told my prescription would be another 15 minutes. No big deal I can wait for that. Even though I had called this in hours ago. Finally another tech comes to tell me my prescription is rare and needs to be special ordered to come in by Monday. At this point I am confused as to how could I have called ahead and had a discussion about my prescription and you not inform me of this information ahead of time. Upon me asking questions as to why I had not told this information, the tech became argumentative but finally realized she could have just checked during the phone call and finally apologized. I will never be returning to this pharmacy. I advise you Fido life your prescription else where. This is unacceptable service to the community. The young lady stayed she would be calling this prescription into another pharmacy that she claimed she spoke with and confirmed they had in stock. Once I arrived to the recommended pharmacy, where the pharmacist had great manners, she informed me that this prescription in fact had not been called in and was not even on site. read more
