So we came to this CVS for the SOLE Purpose of getting our COVID Boosters. The appointment was at 2:30, we arrived a few minutes early. The Pharmacist was doing something at the time so we had to wait a few minutes. Then she came over to the Vaccination Booth and got started. Her name was Mojgan. She was very nice, friendly and efficient. She prepped the needle and my arm and in just a few minutes...DONE. Then it was wifey's turn. She got two vaccinations - one in each arm. This place is consistently out of stock on medication and you cannot call them, they have an answering machine but they haven't called back after two messages and four days so I came in to ask in person but the line was way too long. Came back when they opened and had about 4 people ahead and after 20 mins finally got to ask what happened to my prescription. Lines are always long and they only have one person working the department so it takes forever. Also they actually close the whole thing for their lunch time which is apparently the time I came. I've been waiting over a week to have pain meds filled. I called and talked to a staff member. I asked if all CVS pharmacies in the area had the same problem, or just this one. She actually said, "Probably just this one," in a very cheery voice, with absolutely no concern. Truly a study in callousness. Before you ask, I need to use a GoodRx coupon as insurance won't cover, or else I'd use a different pharmacy. Steer clear. I've already filed a complaint with the Board of Pharmacy. I have had my Prescriptions sent here for 6 months and I every time I have been met with smiling workers who had treated me with respect. I have seen others come in with big attitudes and yell at the staff for issues that have nothing to do with CVS and is all the fault of their doctor. The staff listen and try to help all the time. The customers are the ones who yell and blame the staff. Personally they have been fast and pleasant when I go in there. read more

Went there for the photo department. I was able to order some enlargements online and went to the store to pick them up. First of all, they were done really quickly, within half an hour for their one hour print service. Also, the prints were glossy finish, which I prefer. They had an online coupon code for 40% off, which made them the same price as Walmart's. In the store, the employees were helpful and they have a convenient computer station with seating, where you can upload your pictures from your phone or USB device. Unfortunately ,due to Rite Aid closing, we were transfered to CVS. Since then I have have major issues with perscriptions which have LITERALLY ruined a vacation. My canine is on a controlled medication for seizures. Due to a "glitch" in thier system which apparently doesn't know how to count we cannot get her vital medication filled because it is "too soon." While in Tahoe we went to the CVS and discussed this with the pharmacist there who was actually compassionate and kind. He offered to call the other CVS and speak to the pharmacist there and get it transfered so he could fill it for us. Guess what? You can only transfer a controlled perscription once and that was done when Rite Aid closed. I have also had to go without one of my meds for 2 months because they kept saying my doctor never responded. It was a big finger pointing session. Plus I have encountered some pretty rude, uncompromising employees. The original reason I left CVS and went to Rite Aid was because this particular CVS kept messing up my prescriptions and the customer service is horrible.. Aughhh!!! read more

I was just in there shopping and was verbally assaulted when I tried to pull my three year old daughter away from two swearing employees. The language they were using was unacceptable. I didn't know they were employees so I just went to move my daughter away. One of them said "do you need help?" I asked if they worked there. They said yes. I said that I was shocked at their foul language in front of little kids. I was told they were having a private conversation and were allowed to do so (by private she meant talking loudly on the floor in the middle of the store, surrounded by customers). I went to the cashier to ask for the name of the manager. She said Sonja and pointed to the woman who just got upset with me because I took offense to the language. I said I needed the name of the person above her. Sonja took offense to this and met me at the register to yell at me, berate me, threaten me, etc. I told her she didn't have to yell at me. She said she wasn't yelling but could start if I wanted. I said "ok, let me record if you are going to." She blew her gasket at that statement. This is the most ridiculous representation of a company I have ever run into. If she is not fired, I will be forever stop shopping at CVS. For any employee to swear in front of children and then make it the customers fault when something is said, to yell at the person, to threaten them, that person doesn't deserve the title of employee, let alone manager. Drove 20 minutes or so to come to this location a bit ago today to pick up my prescription. Prior to arriving here my phone had messaged me asking if I was coming to pick up my medication and I pressed '1' for yes. Upon arrival I talked to the pharmacist and she said I would have to come back tomorrow because the medication was lost as opposed to having her coworker who was working on the computer look for it instead. When I asked if this could be mailed instead she said no, that they cannot mail controlled substances either. Also this store has no restroom for some reason? When asked if they had a restroom in the store, she also said no to me as well as another woman. read more

Every time we have a medication to pick up, we always give this location for pick up and for whatever reason they never send it to this location and send it to the one on Marconi and Fulton CVS. I've talked with them. I've also talked with my providers. I don't know what's wrong. Today I had to wait for 30 minutes in the line only to figure out that they didn't send my medication in this location and I should go to the other one. Had got my prescription sent here twice after they were able to only give me 1 out of 3 and when I asked about the other two they were rude about it. Tried calling and it was automated anyone I spoke to told me I had to call the ER again even though they told me it was sent there twice. Before I picked up the first prescription I called to see if it was ready and they said no, however I had received a text the next day that it was ready before I had even called. Their automated phone system is worse than the DMV, takes forever to get a callback (you can't get to a person, 10 mins for a VM system), they just shut down in the middle of the day for lunch (this is not posted anywhere but inside the store), and don't even reopen on time. I simply needed to use the bathroom and approached THREE workers that were all huddled on one register trying to figure something out (because apparently that's how incompetent they are...they need THREE people to help ONE customer). I have to say that I agree with the reviews below re: waiting for the pharmacy to pick up the phone. I waited 30 minutes today--after they said that just two calls were ahead of me! And a few days ago, I waited 18 minutes. Both times I just hung up. So yes, the PHARMACY IS THE WORST to deal with by phone. I think they under-counted ma's pills once too. Yep, I count pills b/c, believe it or not, machines aren't doing the counting, and the humans make errors, or worse. They made it right though, once I pointed it out to them. In their defense, the Pharmacy staff may just be the victims of yet another horrible for-profit American only-the-execs-get-rich company. If the company I worked for didn't allow us to hire the staff we needed, I would do the same thing this Pharmacy may be doing--put the folks on the phone on hold, and help the folks waiting in line. But alas, I'm not sure what the real story is here. I will be moving our account to Walgreens--I don't even care if they are a bit more expensive. read more

Seriously, DO NOT bother stopping here. I came in for one item, just one! And I felt like I was in Zombieland. This is a ghetto area, and if you're cute girl dressed even half way decent for the day you'll stand out like a sore thumb. I was wearing my favorite jeans, boots, a fitted jacket, and a cap. You would have thought I was the queen of England stopping by. It started in the parking lot. Some guy gawking at me from way across the parking lot. I thought okay, don't panic just get in and get out as quickly as possible. Then just walking up to the store I see not one but two women leaving separately with PJ's on. C'mon! Seriously?!? This was late afternoon, no excuses for wearing your jammies out of bed. I walk in and immediately see some less than average dude with his music turned up on his phone. I quickly walked past him but not without a "Hey, girl! How you doin'?" Please! What is this? Party happening on Aisle 3! The small town girl in me feels obliged to nod my head out of dutiful politeness but I never made eye contact. I quickly whiz past him like a bat out of hell to the office supplies aisle. I scan quickly, find the exact item I needed, and made a bee line to the front. I'm hoping to not run into any more weird people on the way. As soon as I reached the cashier, I see a extremely (not healthy) skinny women getting ready to unload a lot of items onto the conveyor belt. She looked at me with her sunken eyes and her face looked extremely worn. The wrinkles in her face seemed out of place with her stature. This was a women i didn't want to mess with for sure! She asked if I only had one item, and I said yes. She let me go before her. The cashier was super nice to me too. I will say this, even for the ghetto there are people with manners and kindness still prevails. But I just couldn't get out of their fast enough! Learn from me! SuCk O Rama! Damn and I LOVE CVS stores too.... Well that is I usually fall head over heels for them with the exception of this pit located in a ghetto sent straight from the bowels of hell..... So I launched my BFF today aka: The Yelp app in search of the closest CVS to me and this is what came up although I did do a quick sweep of the previous victims: Yelp reviewers reviews, I decided to experience it for myself as quite frankly no other locations came up. One of the main reasons I've always loved CVS's is because they utilize a frequent shopper card that pays you back cash coupons towards your future purchases. Combine that with their sales on war paint for girls and you can come out with a ton of shit at much less than you would have originally paid..... Plus they stock my boxed wine brand and variety which is a must for me.. However this location lacks in ALL areas, from selection to selection to well selection..... When you first walk in you think the store is going out of business as its practically empty with as much open floor space as there is merchandise for sale..... And what they do stock is either completely out of stock or so picked through its not even buyer worthy :/ Unless your desperate like I was today with the can of hairspray I purchased today ... The last can of it actually.... It had the remnants of a coupon still left dangling from it but some other bastard tore it off and used it themselves leaving me feeling rather slighted and quite frankly robbed of my savings.... Asshole..... Then instead of the nifty red boxes on every other aisle for you to scan your CVS card and have the lovely machine spit out a 2 foot stream of coupons this one appears to have just one.... It a serious pain in the ass especially if you don't know where "the one" is..... I did leave with what I came in for but NOT the brands and variety I wanted and the red box coupon machine didn't even print out my $3.50 cash coupon as it should have to use for this in store purchase which I earned from previous purchases so that sucked..... This CVS was a blast from the past because it didn't get remodeled when CVS bought out Longs. I worked for Longs for 8 years so this CVS location had the whole "blast from the past" thing going on, LOL. That said, this CVS is located in a ghetto-tastic neighborhood so keep that in mind. The store was dirty inside, with lots of poorly merchandised items and empty shelves. To add to the fun of my visit I received cat calls as I walked up to the store and a creepy smelly guy followed me around while I was shopping. I found what I needed quickly and got the hell out of dodge. Gail B. (The cashier) was really kind and pleasant though. Since I just had an unpleasant visit to another cvs, I just have to say that this CVS is the friendliest drugstore I have visited. Whenever I walk in, someone always greets me, even if they're in one of the aisles, they'll poke their head out say hi, ask how I am and offer to help me. At the Pharmacy the employees are just as friendly. When a customer gets in line, one of the techs or the pharmacist will tell the customer that someone will "be right with them." No nees for me to go to another pharmacy, this one is great! read more

I often describe this place as "the weirdest place in the planet" and it's not much of an exaggeration- it's small and dirty and the shelves are perpetually empty. Like I thought it was going out of business when I walked in. You know it ain't right when you're hard up to find nail polish at a CVS- it's just weird.
