This review is for CVS, but moreso for the 'Minute Clinic' that saved me yesterday morning. I felt like dog dirt for two days, and NEEDED help. Especially since I didn't want to miss any work time, due to many summer hours I'm taking time off. SUMMER COLDS SUCK !!!!!!!! Kim Brunnet, NP, cared for me during this visit. She was kind, pleasant, and we had a nice conversation about Vitamin D, the weather, Florida, and animals. (She had on an adorable pair of flats w/ Dachshunds on each - one half of the body on one shoe, the other half, on the others - sooo cute!). Kim was genuine and patient as well. I was dx was a double ear infection and a virus. Fun times. She had my meds (with my okay) sent to the CVS pharmacy, literally and DUH, right there. Sooo convenient! Within a few hours on the antibiotic, I started to feel a bit better. Today, even moreso :) $8 co-pay w/ my killer health insurance plan and out I went. I would GO OUT OF MY WAY to go to this location again for this Nurse Practitioner! As for the actual store - very nice and organized / clean - great red and white colors - as all CVS's. Pharmacy is horrible! Wait times are ridiculously long. You can never speak to anyone on the phone and they are always out of what you need.

A terrible experience at the pharmacy. The laziness of the pharmacist had me going back 3 times to get 1 script filled. Look at the google reviews. I will NEVER go back here nor will I spend a dollar. They need more staff at the registers too. One person working the register and the wait is LONG. All the pharmacist had to do was call my Dr's office back to get my contact info so that my script could be filled promptly. Too lazy to make a call, so it cost me an hour of my life. read more

This is a store that I like because you never know when you're going to need a 24/7 store. I believe that they are under staffed which leads them to be a little short with the customers (not an excuse). On the other hand they will also call your doctor like crazy to get you your medication. Mostly stocked very well and I also like the jewelry and purses that they've recently added. read more

Try to schedule a flu shot twice today on September 16th 2021 first time at 9:00 AM in the morning and was told by person in charge that they were short staff to come back at 11:00 AM. Rescheduled for 11:00 AM and was given an appointment time for 11:27 AM. Upon arrival I was told no pharmacist was available and it would be an hour wait. So what is the point of scheduling an appointment and this CVS giving me a time if they have no one available to give me my flu shot anyway. Over the weekend I came down with the flu. After a quick trip the urgent care, I left with a prescription for Tamiflu. I headed to my local pharmacy, which was closing in 10 minutes- they were out. I quickly searched for an alternative pharmacy and landed on this CVS- which is 24 hours (thank god). The pharmacy is located in the back of the store with clearly labeled lines for drop offs & pick ups. The pharmacists were able to fill the prescription & had me out the door in less then 10 minutes. As for the rest of the store- it's conveniently located in a strip mall on Kings Highway. You'll also find Chinese, a bagel store, a dry cleaners, the post office & Gallos bakery here. There is plenty of parking for everything. The store is well lit & organized- signs hang above each aisle. It's a great place to run to it you need a drug store item in a pinch. read more

I have a thing for drugstores. I love that you can buy chocolate, panty hose, an umbrella and sore throat lozenges all in one place. And I love CVS. When they're good, they're really good. This place has somewhat spotty service. Depending on what time you come in, you can find the place with boxes blocking the aisles if they are stocking things. At least sign up for their rewards program. Occasionally you'll score some good discounts in exchange for giving up your email address. read more

As far as the retail section of the store goes, no problem. Regular old CVS. The pharmacy though? I KNOW it's not easy to get a PharmD or even be a pharmacy technician. What the fug is going on here? For five years I have struggled with this pharmacy...lost prescriptions, filling the wrong prescriptions, lines that take forever, claiming I have no insurance, pawing through bags of prescriptions because mine is lost... Today...I'm firing you. My doctor called in a script for Ambien, which I need, once, maybe twice a year because my sleep gets all wacky...nbd. I go to pick it up, and they had filled an old birth control script (like...almost eight months old...). But wait, someone from CVS had called me to say specifically, "your Ambien is here and ready" - me: "Really? I never got the automated message" - person: "Oh! Well it's here." Fast forward to today, they paw around through bags, and paper, and then one woman comes up to me and whispers..."do you not have insurance?? I see you paid cash last time." Yes, I paid cash because I needed my bc early because I was going on a trip and my insurance company wouldn't cover it because I was picking it up before the time frame allowed blah blah blah...BUT MY SHIZ IS STILL VALID! Anyway, I literally feel like my head is going to explode - I told them that I have to take my business elsewhere because I've dealt with this headache for five years and can't do it anymore. I stopped going here a couple of years ago because I never really liked shopping there. It wasn't the worst experience ever, but it wasn't that great either. I can remember a sales associate I interacted with on a couple of occasions, and she seems to be the epitome of poor customer service. She is an older woman with glasses and gray hair who always seems to be in a terrible mood, making sure everyone else knows this as well. My interactions with her have been kept very brief, so I cannot recall her name. We recently started going to this CVS again because my husband's work insurance requires us to use CVS for prescriptions, and it is the closest to our house. Upon time of checkout we were greeted with the sweet sound of her voice saying, "Can I help you?" - not "Hi, how are you?" or "Hello, did you find everything okay?" - just the look of annoyance as her eyes looked up over the tops of the glasses sitting on her nose. As my husband swiped his credit card, the machine wouldn't read his swiper strip. He asked if he could use a plastic bag to swipe it because that's what other sales associate's have done in the past when he has had troubles. She said she's not supposed to. We weren't going to take the bag with us...we just needed to swipe his card. After the 10 years of retail experience I have, I'm pretty sure you can manually enter the credit card number into just about any P.O.S. system, but she didn't offer to do that either. As my husband tried to get money out of the ATM in the store, she mumbled under her breath, "I'm going to have to void this." (as if it were a complete inconvenience). The store ATM wasn't reading the credit card either, so we walked outside to the local PNC bank, in the 4-6" of snow, and took the cash out there. We walked back to the store to purchase our items, only to be greeted by a more pleasant associate, who I kind of wish was there in the first place. I feel like he would have been more inclined to better assist us. The moral of my story is, if CVS is hoping to achieve the "going above and beyond" experience for their customers, they have a long way to go.... read more

I haven't been here in many yrs but the CVS closest to me was closed. And they r 24 hours which is super convenient when ur throat is so sore and u need some Major league lozenges and some cough med. I am not feeling to great so forgive the review but a blast from my past. If you grew up as a teenager in the 80s big hair decade , and remember being sick & getting these soft gummy yummy lozenges called Pine Bros. Omg, I thought they were a thing of my past like the original Herbal Essences Shampoo. Those of us born in the 60s and me 70s def know what I mean. These Pine Bros were like the bomb! They had Cherry, lemon and Honey . They were the best at soothing my throat so I was thrilled to see that they brought them back. Well, It's been years and haven't seen them in decades. Before iPhones​, texting and the internet. but wait am I back in the 80s , yep they have them , they used to be in a small box and I settled for the honey for my scratchy throat. God I feel so old. Since most of u reading this prob weren't even born in the 80s . But take my word they r the best . And I did take a pic before I end up eating them all up like I did back in the mid eighties at 13 . Looks like they have updated the place , great parking lot since it sits right on major highway Kings highway. Oh and u can get some deals if you r in the mood to shop. Luv green tea and it was 2 gallons for $500 . I am a green tea addict but it's a good addiction. Pharmacy being open was good but of course my Dr. Did not call my script in . So I will be baaaaack!!! Ok I am taking a scene this from the Terminator , movie. Overall convenient , nice bright well lit . Especially later at night. Cashier was sweet girl and double bagged my teas . Very nice. Like why when u go shopping they hand u a paper thin plastic bag that will break b4 u get to ur car. Oh well it's close by and there are a bunch of stores in this small strip center. So if you need to pick up and most pharmacies r closed , 24 hour . And the bagel shop next to CVS had amazing bagels like 20 flavors and homemade cream cheeses . Oh, my gosh. I made the mistake of getting some prescriptions filled at this CVS after being discharged from the hospital. They called me a month later to remind me that it was time to refill my medications. Okay, thanks. Then they call to see if I'm TAKING my medications, if I have any problems with my meds, and if I know I should follow up with my physician, after being discharged from the hospital. Seriously? CVS has turned into my mother?? Today, they call me to say that my refills are past due. I explain that I have to get my meds from Express Scripts (a whole nother story). I ask that they stop calling me. They say I have to call some number and "unenroll myself". I ask, "How did I get enrolled in the first place?" They say, "Oh, when you get a prescription with refills, you're automatically enrolled." I call. Unenroll myself. (No live person, of course, all automated. I would have loved giving someone my opinion on this bull) Not 20 minutes later, CVS calls me AGAIN! Tells me my prescriptions are past due. I blew a small gasket. STOP FREAKING CALLING ME! I went there due to the convenience factor. I absolutely positively regret it. I am going back to Lamberts. Their hours aren't the greatest, but they don't turn into incredible nagging harpies who's sole purpose in life is to nag me to death. Hey, CVS,, how about ASKING if I want to be auto enrolled? Maybe, one day, when I completely lose my marbles, and I'm lonely and want to talk, at length, with someone on the phone who's expressing an interest in my medical disorders... maybe when that day comes, I'll appreciate this service. UPDATE: Three days later, and they are STILL calling me! Now I'm told it takes 7 to 10 days to be disenrolled from their constant barrage of calls. Seriously? Can't even block their calls because the number comes up 000-000-0000 now. It used to come from the actual store. Now it's some call center? Started going here because it was convenient and right by my house. Retail is fine, this pharmacy is horrible. Staff has been rude on numerous occasions, even going as far as rudely telling me "no" to having a prescription ready in an hour or two (it wasn't what she said, it was how she said it, I understand these places get busy). Apparently they aren't capable of accepting electronic prescriptions and there is always trouble when getting a new prescription even when the dr.'s office is faxing it to them. I've been at the same doctor's office for 28 years and this pharmacy for less than 1, so no question on who is in the wrong here. And then, THEN PHONE CALLS! I've told them time and time again to stop calling me to remind me that it's time to renew a prescription or that a prescription is ready. I don't know how they track it, but I never seem to be in need of a prescription when they call me. I need to find another pharmacy. read more

The pharmacist white man black glasses has sent my medication back to my doctor because its An opioid and the last time I had suboxane was last month I completely understand when a patient has abused in the past but I'm in severe tooth agony, my doctor was fully aware of my background and asked me some questions before he had it sent to the pharmacy, for the pharmacist to not even ask the doctor about the situation but only send it back... we'll I believe he has poor decision making, refusing to give me medication that the doctor whom is far above his pharmacist education is unbelievable is it CVS it'sself or this man that blatantly disrespected me by walking away telling me he sent the script back to the doctor. No care for me (the patient) AT ALL!! i work in health care I know how Things work and this is not okay. I will be calling corporate. 20+ year customer, mainly pharmacy. They used to give the wrong meds. My grandmother a few years ago got Oxycontin instead of heart meds, I got aspirin instead of transplant drugs, 1 month I got 29 Lipitor + 1 Lexapro. My father stopped using them because the counts were always wrong. And I do mean ALWAYS. And always less. Finally he had them count out in front of him, lets just call him animated. Lol They were short. Now counts are good and my pills are actually what they say they are. Now its never ending insurance issues. Transplant drugs, 2 of them, every month, month after month, same issue. For 17 years now. It requires a phone call for me to ask they submit it you, the right way? Problem is that call now takes 30 to 45 minutes ( as other reviewers have said). Robo menu, 2 minutes of covid offrers, then options. Pick then covid commercials, date of birth, even though that information apprently goes nowhere because they will ask again, then static music interrupted every 20 seconds by covid vaccine and our 17 other vaccines, rinse repeat for at least 30 minutes if your lucky. Funny (or sad) part is that i use this pharmacy because its 2 minutes closer than another big box pharmacy chain. read more

This location is convenient due to proximity to my house but last two pharmacy visits have been subpar service to put it kindly. Apparently the kings highway location receives more prescription requests they can handle - not sure if more staff would help or not as existing staff does not seem super busy but their attitudes certainly convey a stressed atmosphere esp when they try to avoid making eye contact with you and have curt tone when you question why it is taking longer then the 10-20 min stated when I got here. Currently going on 40 minutes waiting for prescription that was sent over electronically 2 hours ago?!?!? read more

terrible!!! wait time 52 minutes on the phone, drove there whileon hold, no one in line, 5workers and they couldn't answer the phone! when I talked to the pharmacist and showed him the phone with the 52minute wait time( oh with their voicemail saying 4 calls waiting) he said we can't answer the phone!! oh it gets better was told too early for my refill come back Friday, I call at 930am and was told script would be filled by 11. well... at 3 pm text said out of stock so now won't get medication until Monday at 5pm!, I guess the best part in my 5 day wait and my time driving there and 1.5 minutes on the phone.... it's not heart medication or I would be dead!! Yes, this pharmacy gets busy. If you notice they are next to a nursing home and down the street from a hospital. Despite that, I've never had a bad experience picking up a script. The staff seems very close with their "regulars", and do not display rudeness. I witness more customers getting out of hand over a FEDERAL regulation on their medicines --NOT the tech's fault. Basically since this CVS location has been open, it's been my family's "Go to Pharmacy!" For most of those years we had very little issues, other than waiting in line for maybe 25 minutes or so. The people always seemed to be older, more experience, nice, and most importantly got the job done! I wish I could say the same for now, but sadly the last few years this Pharmacy location has been a NIGHTMARE! It seems sometime within the last 3 years or so they got rid of their entire Pharmacy staff they had for MANY years, and hired a bunch of new right out of school kids to run the place. It seems they have let this new unexperienced staff take over and nobody is there to step in and help them get things done correctly! They have been making mistakes everywhere and I don't know about you, but for me when it comes to medical stuff, making mistakes can be very scary and deadly, if not done correctly the 1st time! It should only be done by professionals that care & know what they are doing! This new staff have been known to be careless and extremely rude to customers! They once called me to pick up a script that was ready for pick up, I went there a few hours later to be told they no longer had it in stock and I was to travel to another CVS location about 20 mins away (which I have never been to.) They never even apologized for the mix up, instead they gave me a new manager who kept saying "it's not his problem, go there and take it up with them." Nice right? What happened to good customer services, what happened to "the customer is always right?" Granted I have worked retail myself, and know in many cases that may not be the case, yet it's your job (in that field working for the people) to make the customer at least feel that that are, just be nice it goes a long way! I went to that other location and they told me they couldn't give it to me as they script was for the other location and my insurance company wouldn't cover it. I later called my insurance company to find out that wasn't true at all. They were just lazy and didn't want to pull up my information on their system. Since then I can't tell you how many reviews I have read and people who I have talked to that had similar issues here if not worse! Almost 2 years ago the store got a remodel and ever since it seems the place is unorganized, staff are rude and talk back to customers, and can't keep the bigger items & brands in stock most of the time! This past year we made the BIG SWITCH to "Walgreens", right up the street from this store (504 Kings Hwy North!) Can't express how sissified we are with them! Even though their store might be visually smaller it is a lot nicer, keep most items needed in stock, and the staff is extremely caring, friendly, and helpful (as people dealing in the medical field should be!!) So they have renovated the store and everything looks good. Consumers like to be asked if they need help and then be left alone to shop. I got asked for help almost 12 times. I decided to give them some feedback when I was at the register. The lady decided to call the manager so that I can give it to him and said that it was okay they want to hear this. So the manager comes up and I let him know I like that you guys ask for help but not so many times. I would like to be able to shop without being interrupted. It seems like every corner I turned someone would ask can I help you with something. I would say no thank you , no thank you, no thank you. It was kind of awkward. The manager apologized and said I'm sorry but that's something we have to do. So I said I'm just giving you the feedback you can do what you want with it but I really like CVS. It looks like he didn't like the feedback. Dude you were one of them that I asked me 5 times if I needed help and 5 times I said no thank you. If you need an RX do NOT come to this CVS, or any other one for that matter, but this one is absolutely the worst I have ever been to. First of all I'm a dialysis patient, with high blood pressure and diabetes, a virtual gold mine for a pharmacy. You would think that CVS knows how much money I bring into their stores, apparently that doesn't matter. The most recent experience is mirrored in the previous reviews so I won't bore you with the details of my journey though hell today. What galls me the most is the unprofessional attitude of the Head Pharmacist. I can't pronounce of spell her name (Viet Nam I think). She arrogant, unprofessional and not caring about here customers in any way shape or form.\ If you really want an experience that will have you pulling out your hair try to fill a hospital written RX from a Philadelphia hospital. Before this three stooges act could fill this type of RX you would be able to get the formula for your drugs off the internet, buy the equipment and mix the compound yourself. No more for this CVS, but I'm afraid I'll find much of the same everywhere else. read more

Would give zero stars if I could. This is the absolute worst pharmacy I've ever been too. Transferred all my medication here since we just moved and go to pick it up after waiting in line at the pharmacy for 25 minutes I get get it home.. it's the wrong medicine! Back to cvs, wait for 20 minutes again, and tell the lady, "hey this is not the medication I take. I've been on the same medicine for 7 years" they then tell me that ITS MY FAULT I got the wrong prescription and I should have checked it before I left. What?! How about you, as a highly paid professional, make sure you dispense the correct medication to each person? Did you ever think of that? Transferring my prescription. Great location, horrible pharmacy. The pharmacy staff at this CVS location has made numerous mistakes regarding my prescriptions. I filed a complaint against the head Pharmacist "Katie" after she made a HUGE mistake with my script. I would go in on a Sunday for a medication and they would tell me they wouldn't have it in stock until Thursday. Four days to get an order?! They are very rude people. Super close to my house, but will NOT be going back. Last night was the last straw. Robo-refill said prescription would be ready in an hour. After the "promised" time, I went to pick-up prescription. Pick-up line was as long as ever, only 6 deep this time. When I got to the counter, prescription was not ready. The tech was nice and very patient, kept checking for me when it was going to be ready. The pharmacy team in the back kept saying, "it's next". I waited 25 minutes before canceling my order and leaving. Half an hour later, I receive a text that my prescription was ready. I would have waited for another half an hour for a generic form of Flonase? CVS - we are parting ways. There's other places out there - you have no respect for your customers and their valuable time. read more
