Do not attempt to get help by calling the store. You will NEVER get a person and the "phone assistance" is terrible. The worst pharmacy I've ever been to by a country mile. First off, as others pointed out, you cannot EVER call the pharmacy. Its not possible. They have deliberately set it up that way to keep people from bothering the pharmacist. The system will transfer you to someone who says they're the pharmacist at your local CVS. This is a lie - they work in a call center. Try calling just to ask it they have your medication in stock. They always want your name and birth daye before they answer anything, and the answer is always "we don't know". Even other pharmacies can't get through to them to transfer scripts and they have a special private phone number to call. If you want to talk to anyone in the pharmacy you MUST go there in person. Once you physically go there the adventure really begins. It starts when you go in...the aisles are so narrow and filled with displays and junk that its hard to walk by other people. When you finally reach the pharmacy there's usually a line up the middle of the store and a row of chairs filled with depressed souls waiting on fills. Your scripts are NEVER done on time. Ever. Even when you get a text saying they're ready they won't be. Half the time you never even get a text. Sometimes they text that you need to call with more info before they fill, but you can't call. It doesn't matter how many people are working, there's never someone at dropoff. I've stood there for over 15 minutes and had staff look me in the eyes and ignore me. There's only one pickup line open no matter how busy it is. They have ipads at pickup now and staff will refuse to help until you "check in" (do all the work for them) on the ipad. I can't wait until half the staff is fired once everyone uses the ipads. The drive-thru is always backed up. The wait is so long its quicker to go inside if you can believe that. Some days cars back up all the way onto Broadview Rd. You can ring the buzzer all you want - it just makes them mad and you wait longer. Once you finally get someone to ring you out they take their sweet time and act like you're bothering them. They also allow people to pay for non-pharmacy stuff when they pick up, so you're usually stuck behind some mouth-breather buying a year's worth of groceries while picking up their meds. The main store isn't any better. I've been in there plenty of times when there's no one at the front registers, just a self checkout. The staff are stocking a shelf somewhere or taking a smoke break. One lady got mad that she had to cut her smoke break short to ring me out because I won't self-checkout. One time both cashiers were outside smoking, when I asked someone to ring me out they told me I had to self checkout or wait until they were done smoking. On 2/11/26 I went to cvs on Westside Blvd with my prescription and was told it will be ready in a hr. But we're closed for lunch until 2:00 so I came back at 4:00 and my prescription wasn't ready, the female pharmacist told me that a paper script for that medicine was illegal and that they only take it digital, I told her my dr. Wouldn't given me anything illegal I told her I'll take it somewhere else and she refused to give me back my prescription! This was an unlawful act, the prescription had my name on it it was my property and if she wasn't going to fill it she was supposed to return it. Then 2 days later I call in about another prescription and their male pharmacist A. Omar tells me to shut the hell up then he slams the phone down in my ear. It's obvious the standard at cvs has declined, my suggestion is to shut them down take your business anywhere else if you want quality service because in talking to the store rep Shelby I can see where the staff gets their mafia behavior there tough guy tactics. Within 6yrs. Or more I received 2 gift cards for the infractions and poor customer service I received, so when I suggested a gift card be given to me for these 2 infractions Shelby said absolutely not, she said in the past we've already given you 2 gift cards, My question is were those 2 gift cards that I received in the past supposed to account for in present and possible future mishaps on their part? An absurd analogy of that would be you were in a car accident 20 yrs. Ago and sued now anymore accidents rather were at fault or not we won't be repairing your car and if you get hurt we won't pay your medical or pay anything for your pain and suffering, Shelby sounds a little off dont you think? That's why I decided to take my business elsewhere so as a customer I will be treated with respect and dignity. I needed a restock on some toiletries while on the road for work. The hotel convenience store/pantry did not carry what I needed - so off to CVS! Picked up the restock I needed - deodorant, hand moisturizing lotion, plus some bottled water and V-8 juice. CVS was clean, well lit and well stocked, and organized. This location doesn't even deserve 1 star but I have to rate it for my review to be posted. This is the worst location I've even been to in my life! I've worked in retail & never have I treated a customer so poorly as I was treated by Alex. I went in to exchange a product which was expired (it's there fault they can't/don't do there job right & are lazy). Than to make things even worse I had the cashier from hell, rude, obnoxious, no customer service/communication skills. She thought I brought back something from home which was expired to get a brand new item unexpired product. She took the item threw it in the basket & said to go get the new one. I went back to get the product but was shocked to see whatever was on the shelf was also expired. I took all that was expired products off the shelf to show her & asked if there's more product in the back that's not expired. She rudely snatched the expired products out of my hand that I had brought up to the counter and threw them in the basket behind her. She goes on to say we can't sell expired items but failed to see that it was their fault that the expired products were on the shelf to sell & that's when she started arguing & belittling me for their wrong doing/negligence. As I was leaving the store she started mocking & making fun of me to the customer who was behind me, which I found extremely rude & unprofessional. I went back and asked for her name & let her know that this the worst customer service experience I've ever had in my life to which she replied in the worst possible way saying " Isn't that just too bad" & I said yes it is too bad. As I proceeded to leave the store, she still thought it was funny & continued mocking me and laughing. I'm the last person who would ever call to complain about anything but this incident was just too much. I spoke to Vanessa the store manager the next day & I told her everything that happened. Vanessa spoke to me professionally, was kind, caring & listened to everything I had to say. She proceeded to tell me that Alex was her assistant, which I was shocked to hear. Vanessa resolved my problem, put in a order for exact product, made sure that it won't be an expired like the one before. Everyone has good & bad days but before we clock in for work we should leave our personal issues behind & do our job that we're getting paid for rather than taking personal anger/issues out on Customers for no reason. Alex would really benefit from taking some Customer Service skills at this point. read more

I went here today because their site listed that they had at-home covid tests available. Went to ask an associate in pharmacy for assistance in locating, when I noticed the handwritten signs stating that they were "sold out until next Wednesday. :(" As Prince once said, style is a clean mouth, so I stayed in line to pay for the toothbrush I intended to purchase. As I was letting my ApplePay process, a woman (who I'm assuming is a supervisor/manager) loudly told the employees in the pharmacy that she was "saving a few of the covid tests for night shift employees" and further instructed employees that should customers call to inquire about the tests, to inform them that they were sold out. As someone who has spent the afternoon trying to book a test as well as locate these at home tests, and as a woman with someone at home who is currently immunocompromised, I was livid. It's completely unacceptable to hoard merchandise from customers who need it. I wouldn't have been as upset had it been a popular electronic or snack she was birding, as opposed to a sought after home test in the midst of a pandemic with numbers climbing once again. I took my toothbrush and left before I let some words escape my lips that would make Ozzy Osborne blush. Praying this stress is for nothing in the short run. In the long run? I will never set foot inside of this CVS again. I'll save my money for an establishment who doesn't choose selfishness over their customers during both a health crisis and the holidays. Has really gone downhill... I've been using this pharmacy for almost 2 decades and it has gotten significantly worse in recent years. Wait times for drive-in pharmacy lines are ridiculously slow to the point where you may wait 30-45 minutes for an RX even if there are only 5 cars in front of you. Staff seems not to take their work seriously in some cases. My primary problem with this pharmacy is that there have been times where their drug shipments have been late causing my RX to come in days late, which can be a serious problem for those who take important medication. If this is your only option then it will do but it is far from the best and closer to the worst of the pharmacies in this area. P.S. I wrote this whole review while waiting to get my prescription in the drive in line just to give you an example of their ridiculous wait times. read more

Staff at check out always so rude. Make you feel like you are a bother. Only helpful staff is pharmacy. Went to get pictures developed today. Pallets were parked blocking both photo machines. Cashier seemed pissed she had to clear part of one so I could squeeze in between merchandise. What moron would put pallets full of stuff in front of the 2 photo machines anyways?! Thankfully I was thin enough to squeeze in. Machine was not working properly. Had my camera card in and it didn't download photos. Asked for help from the 2 cashiers standing there and they totally ignored me. They both just looked at me and turned away! I couldnt believe it. I was there Sept 9th, 2020 at around 5:15. Hope you ladies are ashamed for how poorly you treat a customer. I will NEVER go to this or any CVS again. Drug Mart and Walgreens are so much better anyways. My husband switched his meds to Walmart for the same reason. read more

Other than the clientele, this is a great pharmacy. They have a drive-through which I have used a few times, but generally I go inside because I have something else to buy. The cashiers are always friendly. The pharmacists are always working hard and I have seen them go out of their way to help customers. The only thing I hate, which can't be helped, is when gross sick people stand so close to you in the pharmacy line, and practically cough on the back of your neck. If you are sick, stand away from me! No one is going to cut in front of you, for God's sake. read more
