This is the worst cvs pharmacy in town- go to literally any other one. My partner is diabetic and called to get an update on an insulin RX because it had been a week since the pharmacy communicated with us. When he called they had him on hold for 5 min before someone answered and asked him to hold, then they had him on hold for 15 min. I called and they instantly picked up and where friendly- once we told them his information so we could ask about his prescription however they became rude and hung up on us halfway through us trying to figure out what was going on and why they hadn't communicate with us or the doctor. This is particularly frustrating because he literally needs the medication to live. I've been there with him 2 other times where we have gone in and they have been rude and acted like we are stupid. They are not kind or caring. We have had positive experiences with the nurses who did the covid shots and the general staff, but the pharmacy has had this attitude towards us several times and it is not ok. This is enough for me to never want to step foot in this store again because the pharmacy really seems like they could care less if their patients die. read more

Just moved to town and this is the worst CVS I've ever been to. First the cashier was super rude and inconsistent. She told us to go to the register so she could help us, then directed us to the self-check out. e bought ice cream on Christmas Day because, well, everywhere was closed. When we got home, all of 3 minutes away, our ice cream completely melted. Like, the edges were completely melted, the core barely he'd together. Needless to say, that $8 completely wasted. read more

They at least do their job!!this past year,their has been inventory issues, so I would have to transfer my Zoloft to HEB a couple times, no biggy, so now I call up to CVS ,before I make that drive and find out theirs no stock, well I called yesterday, was told all of my meds were ready for pick up, except my Symbicort, it wasn't ready for pick up ,I'm asthmatic, but this medication is almost $100,with my insurance, and I'm a single mother, so I ask, just to pick up the ones that are filled, considering I just paid rent, and the tech on the phone, tells me...."Ohhh you just want the good stuff!" Not in a joking way!!!If you consider Zoloft &Ambien and Clonipan, good stuff, you've never dealt with insomnia and depression ,don't judge me by my meds!! Only place in CS I can do my prescriptions which is easy. Except the fact if you go during the day there is a line to drop stuff off and full service. I witness a lady talking at the window in her car for like 10-15 minutes because she was acting like the pharamist was her doctor. I was like omg, these staff members need to tell these people to come inside and wait, or actually go to the doctor. Like "how much tea spoons I give her" Sorry lady it's on the bottle, and your Doctor should have told you, now the 10 cars behind you want to leave and do business elsewhere because your an idiot. If you don't catch one of these people in line, hopefully the line will move fast, they always have about 5-8 people inside working fast, so they need better line strategy of how to handle customers who don't know what a pharmacy is/means. I never go inside due to Walgreens being my main partner in the small groceries section. Now to wait 2-4 hours to go pick up my prescription. The staff is helpful, might be their downside for over talkative drive through customers. read more

This place is absolutely horrible. I placed an order for photo invitations online last night and went to pick them up today. When I arrived I went to the photo center and stood there waiting, but nobody attempted to help me. There was a guy at the front register assisting other customers but even when he didn't have any customers, he still didn't say anything to me. I located the nearest store employee who just happened to be the store manager. I asked her if someone would be available to assist because I had been waiting and she began to tell me that I needed to go to the front register if I needed help in the photo center. I let her know that I was not aware of this but that the person at the front register did not mention anything to me while I stood there. She acted annoyed that she had to stop what she was doing to come and assist me and when she finally located my order she gave it to me, didn't even ask me if I was happy with it. She then just turned and walked away to the front register. After I finished looking at my order I went to the front to check out. She began to scold the person covering the front register about not putting tape over the name on photo orders and asked him to pass the message along. (I'm a bit confused because she is the manager so I'm not sure where that falls under his job duties.) At that point I suggested she put up a sign in the photo center so that customers can see that they should visit the front register to pick up orders rather than standing there waiting for somebody to assist. She completely ignored me and finished checking me out. If the store manager is this rude there is no way I will ever visit a CVS again for any reason. What a horrible representation of this company and horrible customer service. read more

I had to get a prescription transferred to this pharmacy from Austin. This is a one time thing and I had gotten my pharmacy and doctor to fax over a refill request early in the morning and they had told me it would be ready for pick up at 10:00 am. I tried to call the pharmacy a few hours later to see if my prescription was ready but the phone line was busy every time I called. I went to pick it up at 4:00pm and all the pharmacists were very confused and needed my doctor to send over a refill request form. I had told them that they had already sent it over this morning. They said there was nothing they could do and had to wait for a response from the doctor. I left and called my doctor's office and my pharmacy to make sure they had sent over the proper information to the CVS in College Station. They each claimed that they had faxed over the request in the morning but said the would re-send it. My pharmacy finally had to call the College Station CVS to figure out why they couldn't fill my prescription. My pharmacist spoke with Alycia and apparently, they had just been confused and she said that it would be ready by 7:00pm. I went to pick it up at 7:45pm and all the pharmacists were still confused. Finally, they went to find Alycia and she said "oh, yeah, one second". One second turned into 35 minutes. The line for pick ups was huge and some people had been waiting for 2 hours for their medicine. It was ridiculous. Finally, a store manager came to the pharmacy to help out and he asked where my prescription was and they said it needed to be verified. The manager grabbed my prescription and checked us out at 8:35pm! I will never get my prescription transferred here again. There is no communication! read more

They called me yesterday and said my RX would be ready today. I waited in line for forever, only to be told that my meds were on backorder. Which I understand isn't their fault. But she said it very matter-of-factly, in a tone that said she was already sick of dealing with me. I asked why they didn't let me know, and was told (very rudely and loudly) that they "didn't have TIME, they only found out LAST NIGHT, and they have a LIST of people to call besides me." I don't mind their warehouse running out of a popular medication. What I do mind is 1) wasting my time and 2) being reprimanded as though this is somehow my fault or that I'm unreasonable for wanting my medication or at least a head's up that it's on backorder. I will be transferring pharmacies so that I never have to see these people again. read more

This location just kind of sucks. It's a pain to get in to from Texas southbound...or northbound for that matter. They are, in my experience, slower than the rock prairie location for just about everything: perscriptions, checkout, photos. They won't accept coupons off your phone even though I've had other locations do it for me. And they didn't mark down their easter & halloween candy the day after the holiday like most other stores do. dumb. So basically...go to the walgreens accross and down the street or go to a different cvs. Or even better yet, go to HEB or Kroger. read more

Cvs frequently gives me the wrong birth control prescription and complains about my brand of birth control urging me to switch to generic. They should not advise patients who do not seek their advice and purposefully prescribe different medication because it is more convenient for them. Highly unsatisfied never go to this cvs read more

The employees are cheery and polite and they work as quickly as they can, I think, but the pharmacy needs more employees. The meds were accurately dispensed and I was told how to use them. Don't go at rush hour if you want speedy service. read more

Constant problems with the pharmacy when my Dr gives them a RX refill. The staff doesnt seem to know how to update their computer program showing that your have refills or just received a refill on a current RX. Very incompetent. After 15 years of using them, enough! Im going elsewhere. read more
