Wow I can't say enough about my experience here today! I checked in at the minute clinic online, which was wonderful because I knew exactly how long the wait was and what time to arrive. Then I went to fill a prescription at the pharmacy before my appointment and it was ready in minutes. Then I got into my appointment at the minute clinic and the whole process from start to finish took only about 20 minutes!! On a Saturday was the even more miraculous part. I was on cloud 9 all day because sometimes those simple of events turn into hours of waiting. Highly recommend this! read more

I recently started two new prescription medications. Last month, I picked them up from your pharmacy without any issues. However, when I attempted to pick up my refills today, I had a very disappointing experience. First, I arrived to pick up my medications after receiving text notifications that they were ready, only to discover that the pharmacy closes from 1:30-2:30 p.m. for lunch. There was no mention of this in the notification. While I understand staff need a lunch break, clearer communication would help prevent unnecessary trips and frustration. Second, one medication that cost $10 last month was quoted at $40 today, despite no changes to my Ohio State insurance coverage. When I pointed out the discrepancy and provided my insurance card, I was repeatedly asked for additional information, including my VIN and other insurance details that I have never needed in over 20 years with the same employer. Neither my husband nor I have previously required a separate prescription card to fill medications. Unfortunately, the employee assisting me was unfriendly throughout the interaction and did not appear interested in resolving the issue. When I was unable to provide information that was not available through my Express Scripts account, I was asked whether I wanted to pay out of pocket instead. When I declined, I was asked if I wanted to speak with the pharmacist. By that point, I was frustrated enough that I chose not to pursue the matter further. Instead, I went home and arranged to transfer my prescriptions to another CVS location. I would encourage additional customer service training for front-line pharmacy staff. While insurance issues can certainly occur, patients should feel that staff are making an effort to help resolve problems and communicate with empathy and professionalism. read more

Horrible customer service. No manners what so ever. If you don't like your job just quit. Didn't get her name but that cashier knows exactly who she is. All we did was put the money that we owed on the counter and she put her hand out expecting us to hand it to her. Our hands were full. CVS is a good choice for prescriptions and other medication, but they have a fair selection of snacks and some grocery items and other miscellaneous items (eg terrible pharmacy toys hastily bought on the way to a party - Family Guy reference :) ). The location is pretty easy to get to, and there always seems to be parking. They have, of course, a pharmacy as well as a Minute Clinic if you have a minor medical need. They are not open 24/7. This location is always clean and orderly; it can be a little tight in some of the aisles. I was very impressed with the staff. I was greeted in a friendly casual manner upon entering rather than a robotic memorized standard greeting. It was easy to find what I was looking for, and the cashier on check out was also genuinely friendly. My favorite part is actually the candy selection. Especially all the holiday candy they mark down right after the holiday. I have something of a sweet tooth. :) Overall their prices for most items tend to be on the high side compared with a grocery store or Target. But, if you look out for sales on certain items those prices can be quite good. They have a savings card you can sign up for, but I don't think there is a loyalty or reward program attached to it like Walgreen's. Overall, this is perhaps a slightly above average CVS location that is well-maintained with friendly staff. read more

I had to get a physical for my job and forgot to schedule one with my primary care dr, so in order to keep my insurance I had to get an exam before the end of the year. I was so thankful to have found an open appointment at the CVS minute clinic for an exam. I made my appointment online the day before, and was called back for my appointment right at the time I had scheduled it for. Sometimes when I go to minute clinics or urgent cares I make an appointment and are not called back for 30+ minutes after the appointment time, so I was pleasantly surprised by how quick it was! read more

This is a clean and convenient CVS located right next to Big Lots. It has an ample-sized parking lot. The store is open until midnight seven nights a week, but the pharmacy closes earlier (much earlier on some nights). Inside the store is bright, clean, and orderly. Some of the aisles felt quite narrow; it's hard for two people to pass without squishing. There is a small photo area and also a small selection of chilled beer (and lots of other drinks too). They also have a small selection of chilled snacks. The pharmacy seemed well-staffed and without a long line. There is a minute clinic as well for quick medical issues. Prices tend to be higher than at a grocery store or Target though they have weekly sales which can sometimes be a good deal. Staff were mostly friendly (nobody said hello when customers walk in) if a bit awkward (I purchased several items and was asked if I wanted a bag... not sure how else I would carry them...in my pockets?). Overall this is a clean and orderly CVS though is not open 24/7 so keep that in mind for your late night snack cravings! read more

Poor service - while trying to fill a prescription for my son something was miscommunicated. The pharmacist was extremely rude and unhelpful in what was already a stressful situation. With many pharmacies in the area, I'd fill your script at one where you receive help and your script. I left with neither from here. read more

Waiting for like 2 mins for service. Not the best start. But it all worked out, very nice associate helped right after I typed, "waiting for 2 min". What I came for was right there. Paid, done. Awesome. Everyone was very nice, including the other customers. The only problem is the parking, i almost go t hit by a car. I wasn't the only one.one customer almost hit me and another car. Upon leaving, I almost got hit by some going to Press, looking to park in a "CVS spot". Oh well, that's life. read more

I would give 0- stars if I could . This CVS has some of the most incompetent people I have ever dealt with. I tried to use my Medicare OTC benefit for a supplement and the girl said the bar code is not good in store because the in store prices are higher. I then showed her where it said it could be used in stores. She then had to ask me for my personal information then said it was now authorized. After ringing up $18 with of merchandise she said total was $25.46. I had to point out to her that something wasn't right. I guess she couldn't even figure that out on her own. Then she says that the OTC product I purchased was charged twice. She then deducted $6 for the OTC product even though the store price was $8.29. Then I provided the $4 CVS Coupon I had and she said it wasn't good because I used my OTC credit. Any Medicare recipients using Aetna Health should be aware of the scam that Aetna and CVS have put together making it a hellish process to use your benefits at CVS. And if you are at a CVS in Target they won't accept the OTC credit at all. The geniuses at Aetna and CVS have really put a nice scam together to make it as difficult for seniors to use their benefits. Sleaziness in it's highest form. read more

I have been having issues with some of my photos being sent out/developed and have talked to multiple team members about it over the last few weeks and every person has been so considerate, detailed, and has gone above and beyond to solve my issue!!! I had several prescriptions to fill, and went to have lunch while I waited. Everyone was very friendly and efficient, and walked me through stuff, suggested cheaper alternate meds, etc. I appreciated their patience since I'm not feeling well, and that everything went smoothly. The rest of the store seems large for a CVS, clean, well-organized. Parking and road access was good. read more

Minute Clinic is horrible. They allow you to "reserve a spot in line" online and give you an appointment time. I wasted an hour of my day and the chance to see a medical professional which I desperately needed to do before work, because the practitioner chose to go to lunch. I arrive 6 minutes before my appointment, waiting an additional 35 mins, then she came out and said "sorry, but I'm leaving for lunch and will be gone for an hour." They need to adhere to their POSTED lunch hours and/or not accept appointments during time frames they will be on lunch. What a joke. Don't waste your time, they have no respect for patients' time or health. read more

This is a review for the Minute Clinic. I got there over an hour before close with one patient going in and another one ahead of me. The system let me sign up and said the wait would be 36 minutes. Not bad. Unfortunately the first patient was in there for almost an hour. My husband's rotator cuff surgery today took the same amount of time. Finally at 15 minutes before the clinic was supposed to close, the other woman waiting and I were told we couldn't be seen tonight. I will take Urgent Care any day over this, and it looks like that's where I'm headed tomorrow. read more

I had the most unpleasant experience with a pharmacist at CVS on Fifth Avenue. She was so unhelpful as to be almost hostile and was condescending. She refused to honor a prescription for an ANTIBIOTIC from a licensed local doctor who has been practicing at a local hospital for several years. She states she could not find him in her database and refused to go online or call the ER in which he has worked for many years in order to verify his identity. I was forced to have another physician call in the prescription and even then she questioned him far beyond what even Dr. #2 had ever experienced ("is this REALLY your patient or are you just calling in the prescription?"). What makes this even more bewildering and upsetting is that it was for an ANTIBIOTIC for my two-year-old daughter who was with me at the time, fever 103° and crying the whole time. I just wanted to get the antibiotic filled so I could bring her home and put her to bed and instead it took over an hour. I contacted the CVS customer service by email and received a phone call the next day during which they said that they were sorry I was upset. That was the extent of it. Not great service here either. I would never use this pharmacy again. There is a Walgreens pharmacy and a Kroger pharmacy within a couple blocks that certainly could not be worse than this. read more

This pharmacy is horrendous. They repeatedly refused to honor discount cards from my doctor, or would need to run them as a secondary insurance after I had used them previously telling me to come back the next day. Nearly every single visit (I have 4 prescriptions I have filled on a monthly basis at different times) they either did not have the prescription ready, or told me the wrong price. $700+ for a prescription that I have a $10 copay card for? The last straw was when they filled the wrong birth control prescription, when I asked them to fill the right one, they told me it would be 2 days before I could have it. Ok, I went in a week later to ensure it would be ready and they told me it was not. To come back the next day. The next day they call me and told me it was not in stock, and would I be willing to go to another pharmacy? I said if I had to, I suppose. They called me back later saying no one had the prescription (it's a generic birth control, not a Hep C drug or something outrageous people) and would I like to take something else? Ummm..... sure... I'm clearly a doctor. Let me decide what alternate drug I'd like to take. read more

If incompetence was a service, this place would be the pinnacle of professionalism! I will say, I don't mind the main store or front register folks at all...they're good people who do a good job. I have, however, had the worst experiences in my life at their pharmacy department. A horrific level of failure has been felt throughout the years at various CVS stores, but this particular place earns the gold. I have 2 Type I diabetics in my family and so there are many, many specifics that go with the prescriptions. I have tried and tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but they have consistently screwed things up beyond belief. I kept telling myself, "things HAVE to be okay NOW. That HAS to be the last hang up. They couldn't POSSIBLY botch this up AGAIN....right?" NOPE! This CVS has proven itself ABSOLUTLEY UNRELIABLE!!! I only blame myself for holding on for far too long. Location, it seems, is not a good enough reason to select a pharmacy. In conclusion, these people are wet behind the ears and grossly incompetent! read more

if you try and use the care-pass thing it says every single item is unavailable. staff couldn't help me fix it either. place has bad items. you'd have a better time driving off a cliff and exploding rather than having a shopping experience here. honestly just a horrible place. it is a waste of time going here. if you are looking for ANY item here, you will have the hardest time finding it. staff isn't much help either, in case i didn't already say that. read more

You've gone to one CVS, you've gone to them all right? Wrong. The service at this location is top notch, the store is always clean, and they seem to be in stock of everything I need. I've been a customer here for years and never had an issue until recently. The store manager handled the issue quickly and to my satisfaction. CVS has a superstar with this manager. I can't speak for the pharmacy, but for the rest of the store, 5 stars isn't enough. read more

I had a very pleasant experience at this CVS pharmacy, despite an annoying situation with my insurance company. I had refilled my prescription ahead of time, but my insurance company had blocked my eligibility for picking it up locally vs getting it shipped to me. This was obviously very frustrating because I was in need of the medication at the time. The pharmacist provided me with a direct line to get the hold overrided, and when there was still confusion, she called and got it straightened out. I was able to pick up my prescription. I really appreciated the effort she put in by explaining what i needed to do and also hoping on the phone with the insurance company on my behalf. read more

Absolutely the worst pharmacy experience I have ever had! The employees there are completely incompetent! I had to wait an HOUR for my prescription! At one point the pharmacist left to go help a customer with vitamins off the shelf and was gone for 30 minutes while I waited on her to finish up. The other techs there had no idea what to do without the pharmacist. But, they did apologize for her and the wait. Still no excuse for that kind of incompetence. I will definitely NOT be going back there again. Will switch to Giant Eagle or Walgreens. read more
