I went to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription today. During my checkout, I forgot to give them my GOODRX to get a better discount for my medicine. The cashier that helped me seemed like she had an attitude when I forgot to tell her about my discount, even when I apologized. When she came back she said "It's only a $5 discount!" I had my prescription filled there bc on average it's at least a $40, if not more to get it filled for a 3 month supply. It was supposed to be lesser than what she charged me. She didn't even put in the correct discount code. I didn't want to argue about her about charging me incorrectly. I paid for it anyways but was very unsatisfied with the unprofessional service that she offered. I was going to purchase a couple extra items but decided to put it back on the shelf. I can shop elsewhere. I won't be coming back. read more

This store has been very disappointing. The security guard and manager over the weekend do not wear their masks properly, as several employees also do not. Given this store is in the city of Columbus where there is a mandate to do so this is troubling. More concerning was the same manager loudly discussing how minorities, especially "Latinos" get everything from them and their taxes. I have been a customer for a long time but this weekend was the final straw. This review covers 3 DMs, one in Lewis Center, one in North Olmsted, and the one in Oberlin. The North Olmsted store is not my favorite; it is usually dirty and has been for years. The Oberlin site is excellent with a good pharmacy. Bill is the anchor for that pharmacy. Finally Lewis Center is also highly recommended; clean with a helpful staff. read more

This review is concerning the Brunswick location on Pearl Road. The pharmacy staff to put it mildly is hostile. They could not find one of my prescriptions that my doctor called in two days ago. I was told it was too early for it. It was not. They finally said they missed the most current instructions and filled it. I was treated like I was the cause of the problem and bothering them. When i questioned what happened the manager literally raised his voice and yelled at me. He then started a loud argument. Am totally flabbergasted over how badly these people treat the customers. The women on staff all had flippant don't make me work attitudes. In the beginning I even had to wait while they finished a conversation about a horror movie before being asked what I needed. That pharmacy department itself is a horror. Please take your business elsewhere these people do not deserve paychecks!!! read more

I love this discount drug mart. I use it as my drug store for prescription call ins, for renting cheap movies (79 Center blu ray rentals on Monday! Cheaper than red box!), and...wait for it...AMAZING beer and wine selection! They even have a big cooler of individual beers for sale, which I love! I don't like committing to buying 6 packs of beers idk if I like. Try beers for cheap here! They also have 3 or 4 drafts available for growler fills. So amazing! Get keys made here too. read more

EMERGENCY stop here for insulin syringes, granted I am a younger guy. That should have nothing to do with it, the pharmacist Rob at this location WOULD NOT SELL to me. I had to scramble down the road to another store. So insulting. I really hope people learn from this and stay as far away from a store like this that profiles. Drug Mart is a great convienent store/grocery store in Lewis Center. The parking lot can get a little trick to get in and out of during rush hour. There is ample parking spaces in the lot. The location is very convenient for many lewis center residents and it sits directly across the street from Speedway. They have an excellent amount of quality food choices just like a traditional grocery store has, but they also have a pharmacy, movie rentals, wine, beer office supplies, outdoor tools and equipment, some sporting goods items, car accessories, cleaning supplies, and many other assorted items. Many people use Drug Mart as a convienent store since there are not many in lewis center, but a large amount of people also use it as their main grocery store and as their pharmacy. Overall, you really can't go wrong shopping here read more

Feels like the store you go to when you are in a lake house town and have to drive into town to get ingredients for chocolate chip cookies. Clean. Great employees. After ordering my pizza from Romeo's, I will actually arrive a little early so I can go next door to Discount Drug Mart and peruse the store. I have every intention of purchasing 2 liters of pop to go along with my dinner, but I will always find something else to buy as there are so many goodies in here. They have a reward program, but it seems a bit difficult to get. First the person at the register gives you a "new card" but then you are informed that the next time you come, bring this card with you and go over to the make up counter and get your reward account registered. Seems to me that the person at the register could just get your info and just register you, or better yet, how about I fill out a piece of paper and give it to you, or I could go online and register my card. I still haven't registered my card yet because I keep forgetting to take it in. read more

I don't live near Polaris, so when I'm Up that way I typically stop into discount drug mart to view their beer selection, especially since they sell growlers. We were about to check out when I realized I needed to pick up some produce and remembered they sell it there. I kept noticing the same guy walking by me time and time again. We were in there for a while browsing and I noticed him in there the entire time. I soon realized he must be their undercover loss prevention because he literally followed myself/family around. I've been in retail most of my adult life and he was terrible. He could have at least pretended to be a customer shopping. He wasn't fooling anyone. Not sure why I looked so suspicious, or what the reason for following me was. What was I going to steal? Some garbanzo beans in my cart? The one single bottle of beer that would be completely noticeable sticking out of my cross body purse that barely fits my wallet? I'm very put off now from that store and won't be going back. I'll spend my beer money elsewhere. read more

I came to this store to pick up a few items because I was in the area after shopping at the mall. I could have gone to another store but had previously been to Drug Mart and wanted to see if I would get a good deal. My experience was fine until I checked out. The clerk was nice and friendly and I assumed the checkout would not be an issue. He asked, "Do you have a government card?" Well to say I was speechless would put it mildly! I simply replied, "No I do not" and paid for my purchase. This question was not asked to the customers behind me. So there was an assumed stereotype that I would have a government card! I sent an email to Drug Mart and have not had a response. Unfortunately I will not return to any Drug Mart and have mentioned my experience to multiple friends and coworkers. This is not acceptable customer service. If I had a government card I would have politely presented it to the clerk. I love Discount Drug Mart. I agree with the prior review they have exactly everything you need. I ran in to get frozen veggies and they had them! My battery went out on my keyless car entry and the maintenance man came up to help me open it and put in a new battery (saved me a long trip to the car dealer)! They have a lot of home maintenance items as well. They don't overprice things like a lot of convenience stores, and they are helpful. LOVE this store! read more
