Both the store part and the pharmacy are manipulative. The pharmacy will say, "You have medex, right?" when they have on record that I have a better plan. Then they charge the medex price for a prescription. The on-line site is so difficult to work with, that after you have carefully checked to see that your final cost after using coupons, rewards, etc., definitely does not go over the $35 limit for free shipping, they still inject their shipping cost for the final amount. I only chose 1 star because the system forces me too. We will never, ever use this pharmacy again even though we have been using them for at least a decade. The pharmacist and the support staff can't speak a single word of English which ok whatever but they are painfully rude & obnoxious. Times are tough but at least we have a choice of where we get our prescriptions from & it won't be this CVS ever again. & I appreciate the opportunity to warn people about this horrible staff. read more

"Drive-thru" is a loose term -- I can take in account the shortage or lack of employees but there are 5-6 car pile-ups routinely when I visit for prescription pickups. Seemingly full fledged 10 minute conversations happening between customers and pharmacists through the window. It just blows my mind that there isn't a better system or a policy for customers that need more advising or fixed/changed prescriptions to be asked to park/come in directly. Or CVS should be covering free shipping again to reduce stress on customers and their employees. read more

The woman working the minute clinic tonight is in the wrong profession. They advertise no appointment necessary but we were turned away because she was "closed" at 4:55 when they close at 5:30. She didn't even hear out our needs. My mother was not feeling well and we brought her there because we believe she has strep. The woman just dismissed us and couldn't even off us somewhere else to go. Saying "come back tomorrow, I have a patient". The patients are coming to see you because they don't feel well and this is how you treat your customers. We will not be returning to this location. read more

I was having difficulty processing a canvas photo and he was right there helping me out doing whatever he could to get in done. It took a while, but he stuck with it. I had never been to this CVS before - and NEVER will use this pharmacy location again - but went to the pharmacy today and Joanne asked me, out loud (as in LOUD) if I was there to pick up my "name of prescription". Hey, JOANNE, I am writing this because you are clueless. How about "are you picking up the prescription Dr. Smith called in for you?" or something like that? The NP working the clinic was incompetent and nasty. I have never left a review before but feel the need to do so. She was not interested in helping. I beg that if you need any medical care you do not go here in the event she ends up being the one working. Please seek care anywhere else. I tried three times to file a complaint with CVS corporate, successfully filed complaints and was promised a call back and never received one. read more

I walked in for a flu shot and it was 630pm and they close at 7. Didn't think anything of it, the NP running the minute clinic looked at me and gave me a disappointing face like I was taking up her time for a simple flu shot that shouldn't even take 5 minutes and said she was closed. I drive two towns over just to get the flu shot. Just extremely disappointed in CVS' customer service... PER USUAL. read more

The caucasian woman with glasses and a pixie cut hairstyle sitting at the computer acted like she hated people and didn't know how to be cordial. It was like I was in Antarctica in there. So I was walking in with some friends and btw I'm white as soon as my black friend walked in the manager asked her to buy stuff quickly and to leave quickly. She then followed us around the store and was making rude comments. She then asked multiple times for us to leave because we supposedly interfering with things. This cvs pharmacy is quite underwhelming. No one picks up the phone for 20-30 minutes. Refills take forever. You have to call them to have them get started on the refill - if you don't, even if you wait to go there hours after it was called in or sent electronically, it won't be ready. Another time, I cancelled a prescription refill in person and they still refilled that medication when my husband went back to pick up a different prescription for me. And another time, I couldn't find mag citrate in the aisles and had to ask the pharmacist for help and she was rude and unhelpful. She pointed me to the wrong aisle and when I couldn't find it and went back, she looked really annoyed that she had to come out of her station and help me find it. As someone in the medical field myself, this is pretty unacceptable. If it was not in a convenient location next to costco, I would not come here. **I had to update this review because this pharmacy is beyond ridiculous. I called twice, and was on hold for 10 min the first time and when I finally got to talk to a live person, they promptly hung up on me as I was speaking. I immediately called back, wasted another 7 min on hold only to be told they did not receive the script which my doctor called in for me. It was called in 3 hours ago and I verified with the doctor that it was called in! When I went to pick up the script, the phone was ringing and ringing and the pharmacists and pharmacy aides all just stood there and ignored the phone. No wonder - please don't bother calling them ever. They also ignored the line forming at the counter - no "hold on, we will be right there". Instead, they were all just looking at computer screens or counting the bags of prescriptions on the shelves. Finally, a car drove up in the drive-thru and the pharmacist aid who was counting bags went to help that car that just pulled up even though I was waiting for 10 min! Hello?! I have lost all confidence in this place and will never fill another prescription here again. They really need a manager to clean up their act. read more

Rude service that took 15 minutes just for the pharmacist to lie and say she was working alone when there were clearly two other pharmacists helping. I have had good experiences at this CVS, the pharmacy staff have been professional and treat me as a person they know and care about. The pharmacists I have come in contact with have been great .When i first moved to Dedham, I must admit the staff was less the desirable. Nowever, those pharmacists are gone and the current ones are very good. read more
