Worst cvs ever I came at 7:58 and just needed nose spray to breath I've been driving in from Louisiana and they say they shut the store down early before closing hours because "that's just what they do." Extremely unprofessional and not right if you post you close at 8:00 you should close at 8 not 7:58 or 7:59 but 8:00. read more

If I could leave a zero I would! I tried to drop off a prescription due to just having a tooth pulled. The tech was just closing for lunch at 1:30. I asked if I could just drop off the paper, and she said NO, to which I replied , Thanks a lot ! And she replied, You're welcome! This is beyond terrible service! This has to be the most incompetent pharmacy on the planet. They had over a week to fill a prescription for an upcoming surgery, and at the last minute, they sent an automated text saying they couldn't fill it. It really took that long to figure out they could not do the only thing they do? And, you can't even get one of them on the phone to tell you why they dropped the ball. read more

The pharmacy and staff are useless. They obviously have no customer service skill in dealing with medications or with patrons. Go to Loves pharmacy one block away they do it right. I called the corporate office to complain and pretty much got the same treatment. If you own stock in this company it is time to sell. CVS Diamondhead always got their head up their ass. Everytime I have a prescription medication from a local doctor, they don't want to fill it. They give me some run around about insurance. I have BC/BS Insurance. Makes me wonder if they are filling in and keeping it for themselves or maybe selling it (as the prescritption is for pain killer). This store has the rudest most condescending pharmacists. It is in a predominantly older population and their bathroom has been "closed for cleaning" for over two years and that was probably the last time the store itself was cleaned. read more

This is my first review ever & I just have to say I've had so many terrible experiences here that maybe by leaving a review it'll contribute to some future reform. From giving my disabled brother the wrong medication, getting home to find my son's medication hasn't been mixed & having to go back, to no one ever answering the phone, I've just really have had enough. The Pharmacy staff is very helpful and the Pharmacists are always very helpful and customer friendly. There is however, a very high turnover of staff. I can count 12 different employees working behind the counter at the Pharmacy. The store is not well stocked is often only have has a few bottles of many products. Benadryl is nearly always out of supply. The vitamins and supplements are also scarce at times. I am sure CVS is only stocking what they feel they need but that causes us to shop elsewhere because of products not being available. The clerks are efficient and the blond clerk is always very helpful and kind to everyone with sales information and products. The other one with red hair is curt and not helpful to the customers. It seems we are bothering her while waiting to be checked out. She can never provide sales information and says we have no coupons when in fact we do when we return and produce them from a prior sale which are still valid. Overall it is a good store. Perhaps increasing the wages might help greatly with the staff turnover. It is a busy Pharmacy and I can imagine it can be very stressful. read more

Female pharmacists (Asian one) is rude, obtuse, unprofessional and apparently thinks "SHES" a doctor. She argued with my doctor over a med change due to an prescription allergy suffered after oral mouth surgery, she is a powder grinder, not a doctor and should not have the imperialistic attitude that she is... horrible customer service skills!! UPDATE: corporate called June 28, 2019... PLEASE NOTE: the pharmacists has full discretion to fill or not to fill ANY prescription of his/her choosing no matter the circumstance. Though he/she is not a doctor they can do as they please, CVS has no lattitude with their pharm/employee(s) at all. CHOOSE ANOTHER PHARMACY. read more

CVS Corporate needs to step in and straighten this place out. I have been going here since they opened several years ago and it is consistently terrible. They tell you to come back in 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours,, whatever to pick up your prescription and it is almost never ready. Even worse, when you do go back, no one even knows that you have been there before and have no idea what you were told to come back for. This is just one example - I could go on and on.... My Drs hate working with them and one even asked if I would change pharmacies because this one is such a mess. I don't know what it's going to take to fix it, but something has got to be done. read more

This pharmacy used to be very prompt and professional however, I'm assuming it is under new management due to constant mistakes being made for instance, wrong medications being handed out, ordering medication a week in advance and STILL not being ready, never having peoples medications... etc. I would recommend going elsewhere for your prescriptions (to save you time and effort) read more

I went to cvs because that is my local pharmacy and I am on vacation ! The pharmacist there was really rude and because I was from out of state and close to closing time wouldn't refill my scripts !! This is a shame when they have all my records and could speak to my local pharmacist they refused to fill my scripts !! Told me to go to Walmart !! I have been using the CVS in Diamondhead since they opened. Prior to that, I had to drive to Gulfport or Slidell. I am extremely happy with their service. With so many new medication regulations, I have had some issues, but not with the pharmacy. They have been very communicative and helpful. When there is some issue with insurance, or a regulation where something is needed from my physician, they go out of their way to help me. They've been a conduit between my insurance company, my physicians and me, sending faxes, letters, texts, making countless phone calls, and always keeping me informed of the status. If they do not have the medication I require, they tell me when it will be in, and they check which other CVS stores have it in stock, offering me the option to pick it up right away at the other store, or wait until they can fill it. They've called me at home to explain when a new regulation has delayed my medication. I could never ask for more than that! I am actually shocked at the negative reviews, because the pharmacists and their staff has always been very friendly, helpful, and professional, even when they are extremely busy. Since an issue I had with my insurance, they know my name, and always say hello when I'm in the area of the pharmacy. I recommend them regularly, and appreciate the dedication of their staff. read more

I am sorry to see the negative reviews, as my experience has been very different. I have been coming to CVS ever since they replaced the Diamondhead Pharmacy, and have been MORE THAN satisfied with their service. There are two new pharmacists, both of whom are extremely knowledgeable, and have gone out of their way to help me with insurance problems (of which I've had several protracted ones this past year, since my insurance carrier switched their intermediary). If not for their efforts, I would probably still be fighting for the medications I need. They have helped me with discounted payments, contacted my physicians for approvals, etc. I have a couple of physicians in Louisiana, who told me that 3-month Rx's could not be filled for certain meds. However, the CVS pharmacist told me that the laws are different in Mississippi, and they can be filled for 90 days, which has saved money for me. After only a couple of visits, they recognized me, smile and greet me every time I come in. I HIGHLY recommend them. I am sorry that some people have had issues, but they have been very helpful to me. read more
