I was given a bottle with a broken seal and half of the antibiotics (10 tablets) were missing. The pharmacist didn't apologize or seem concerned as if this were a normal occurrence. read more

Medical masks are sold out almost everywhere for obvious reasons... this new corona virus is scary! I'm usually not one to react to histerics in the news but this seems pretty and living in New York and having to commute via LIRR and the subway fairly often, I'm not taking any chances! This was one of the only CVS's around that showed some "limited stock" available on their website. There was literally one box left on the shelf when I got there. They may have had more in the box to be restocked but I was in a rush and didn't ask. The section was a little bit in disarray (hence the 4 stars) but as a former CVS employee back in my highschool days, I know how frustrating and tedious restocking can get, especially on a hot item. Sure, I may look goofy on the train with my mask on, but hey... better safe than sorry! read more

Just to update you, this CVS is located at the corner of Douglaston Parkway and Northern Blvd. It is not where it is shown on the Yelp IPad app. This CVS has a pretty quick pharmacy and a few seats for waiting. It is a rather small CVS so they will not have a full line of everything that the bigger stores have, but it's still more than adequate. There is a beauty advisor at this store incase you need some beauty advise on the reasonable side vs. going to Macy's . Her name is Magdelena and she is very nice. Manager on duty as Seth and he also was very helpful. This is a busy CVS and sometimes you just cannot get a parking spot. Sometimes I park in the spot next to the locked up dumpsters and as of date have not yelled at, so I am not exactly recommending this parking technique but it is an option if needed. Cashiers friendly, but as with most CVS's now days, just not enough employees for the volume of customers. No self service check out at this location. Sometimes a line to check out. read more

Most rudest and miserable employees. They would waste their breath to help or make suggestions to help you. My doctor sent a script in and an hour later I get a text that my prescription is ready. Mind you that I am sick already and had to muster up the energy to get a Uber to drive me there. Once again get there and wait in line. My turn comes up and cashier tells me they do not have my medication in stock and "if" I want, they will not have it till Monday 3 days away. Then I assume the licensed pharmacist with a attitude after I complain that they could have told me over the phone they didn't have and me wasting time and money on a Uber. I literally had to ask them to check other pharmacies. She couldn't even help with that. I am so irate with lazy, miserable employees. read more

The black male manager at this CVS is as rude as they come. I have every right as a customer to use coupons. As a manager, you have NO RIGHT to be blatantly rude over a simple question. As a manager, you have NO RIGHT to belittle someone and accuse them of "trying to cheat the system." I was nothing but polite the entire time. I thought the pharmacy was the only side of this CVS that had such rude and bad customer service, but now I will never be setting foot in this CVS ever again. Absolutely disgusting. read more

This CVS is near my school so I come here when I need a RedBox movie. The RedBox is located outside the location. It is pretty convenient. The parking lot however is a nightmare. I don't understand why is made the way it is, but they should really fix it. It is too tight. What is even more weird is that the amount of cars that is in the lot, never matches the amount of people inside the store. Just be careful. Inside this CVS looks really dull. It doesn't really make me want to shop. Everything is organized though. I would recommend, but beware of the horrible parking lot. read more

Really helpful and attentive pharmacy department. The rest of the store is your typical CVS. They have a very nice seasonal section. I see a bunch of people complaining on here about the parking lot of the CVS. Dude, it's a parking lot in Queens. Be happy you have a place to park at all. Its small and somewhat chaotic, but thats because the people who drive in the parking lot are terrible drivers. If you don't like the parking lot, try to find parking on northern blvd. read more

Today I had my infant's passport pictures taken at this CVS. It was very difficult to keep the baby positioned, looking straight ahead, and content. However, CVS staff member Zuhal was extremely professional and helpful. She was patient with the baby and took numerous shots until we finally captured the right one. Then she worked her magic on the computer to edit, reposition and crop the photo to passport standards. It was a success! read more

What a difference between CVS Bayside and CVS Douglaston. The pharmacist is great and the pharmacy is pleasant and organized. She helped me get my prescription filled before I went on vacation when Bayside fumbled. I'll be moving my business here. It's worth the drive. read more

Untrained photo technician...came to take passport photo for my 9 month old. the cashier (also photo technician?) took my son's photo and didn't care about me and my husband in the background. I told her the passport photo has to have white or off white back ground, she said it passed all the computer generated requirement. (Why need human then?) Of course the photo was rejected by post office and we had to get it retaken at the spot. Totally waist of time and money. read more

The pharmacy area needs a military manager to come in, organize tasks and time management. They will put you on hold for 15 mins, rush you off the phone and always blame their system for their delay. When you do talk to someone they tell you different days on when your medication will be ready, it's always something. Four years ago this place was one of the better ones. Now it's trash. They need more workers. Even when I could be the only person there, the workers there prefers to take their time to get to you. read more

Staff is very friendly and always so helpful, especially in the pharmacy. But the parking lot is so small, forget about going to this store between the hours of 4 - 8, and if the delivery truck comes, just go somewhere else or come back, that will just make it even harder to park. read more

The location of cvs is right on the corner of marathon and northern. The parking is rough! The people are friendly for the most part, has everything that you need in the store. Nothing to fancy, has a redbox outside!! read more

Giving one star for the parking lot.....don't even bother coming here between the hours of 4-8. The lot is jammed and go inside and there's 3 people inside, WTF? That being said the pharmacy and staff is good, I've never had a problem. The location is on Douglaston pkwy and Northern. read more

The selection at this CVS is sub par in comparison to the one on Northern and Bell. The staff is also extremely rude.

Pharmacy - Excellent. Very helpful staff, plus store has increased number of staff. With online "rapid refill" or automatic refill you can refill over the phone/computer then pick up when you know it's ready. CVS can also phone you and/or text when script is ready. Other items - good stock of brands, good stock of generics for OTC meds at very good savings. Join "Extra Bucks" savings for more savings. Hours of operation good - open late often. Parking lot can be a a pain but try to go off-hours. Store always very clean. read more

So happy that this is a national pharmacy in a small neighborhood in Queens where 'everybody knows your name' meaning that the Pharmacy staff greets you promptly- and tries to communicate with you realistic waiting times etcetera.. The pharmacy will do what they can to try to save you money and communicate with you/ address any concerns.. they give you sound advice.. I can't imagine going anywhere else! read more

There are two CVS's near me and they are ok, but I'd rather go further to this one in Douglaston on Northern Blvd., because it is better. It is neat and clean, well organized, well stocked and has reasonable prices and sales. The staff is friendly and helpful. read more

Just asked the manager to use the restroom and he reacted with an exasperated sigh, a look of annoyance, then proceeded to press the security code to the backroom, and then he marched through that door. I assumed I should follow and what he really meant was "Oh of course, please follow me miss." He wordlessly pointed at a dirty unmarked door. Polite human translation: "Here you go." After I finished using the very filthy-barely a step up from an interstate gas station bathroom, I exited back into the main store. An alarm sounded from the employee door I just went through. Same manager gave one more indiscernible grunt displaying his great inconvenience. I thanked him for letting me use the bathroom. He somehow forgot to say "You're welcome. Thank you for shopping at CVS." Store itself looks unkempt, forgotten, filled with disgruntled employees. read more

My local pharmacy.. Parking lot is small, it is what it is, so what., wait it out for a few minutes. Staff is always friendly and helpful when I need to check on an item. Yes a few times certain meds are out of stock, but in the next day. I've seen some of the staff that's been there since day 1 started as cashiers now managers, which you don't see too much in retail anymore. read more

As far as CVS stores go, this is my second favorite. The first is out in Suffolk County but if you're picking up meds, I doubt you'd really want to drive out that far, right? read more
