The system is designed where they never answer the phone anymore, but the automated system is extremely inconsistent. I've asked about this in the store and am told there is nothing anyone can do about it. It's not a people problem, it's a general "CVS way of doing business" problem.

Stick with drive thru from now on!. The lady in afternoon insisted I pay 55$ for medicine when I told her I believe my insurance should cover it, my 1st time using this pharmacy, she said your insurance covered most of it , still have to pay the rest. After coming back with debit card and she being so unprofessional and I running late for work I left. I kept thinking, in CT I my insurance covers all medicine. I went around 10am. And knew lady and I went thru drive thru handed same things my ID and insurance, and she immediately knew , drove away with medicine and insurance covered, did not pay a penny out of pocket. Unfortunate it was one " bad apple ". I almost paid $55+, charge. If I did not have to go to work at that time I would of been out $ 55( and change. )I am glad morning shift is " on their game ".!

I was told they needed 15 minutes to get everything ready. I told her I'll be back soon for it. I came back two hours later, was acknowledged and told it would be a few minutes later. Five minutes later, someone else calls me, asks for the insurance information again which I had already given and said it would be an additional 10 minutes. I was told they only fill prescriptions while patient is waiting... which I was never told. It's a waste of time for busy individuals such as myself. Mind you, I was picking up a small device, not medication. To top off my annoyance, a staff member was rudely speaking in Spanish about another customer. Very unprofessional. First time here and I'll be avoiding coming back!

After playing phone-tag for a week with my doctor's office, I finally got them to send the prescription for the masks and tubing to my local CVS...only for them to call me and tell me they cannot fill that type of prescription there or bill it through my insurance (which is total BS-they could special order and then bill it but they don't want to because it's a longer process, so they tried to pull the wool over my eyes. Nice try.) I didn't want to deal with any more headaches, however, so I scouted around on the internet for local medical supply pharmacies and found Arrow. I asked CVS to transfer my prescription to Arrow and then went there. I walked in and went to drop-off and was helped by a friendly pharmacist almost immediately. I explained my situation to her and she kindly informed me that CVS would not be able to transfer the prescription, that I had to have it in hard copy form or have them e-script it directly to Arrow. She then told me that they carry the supplies I need there, and could save the receipt so I could be reimbursed later. She walked me to the section with the masks and tubing and picked some out for me, then got me a price. I went to grab a couple more sets and thanked her. The other pharmacist who rang me up was not only also incredibly kind, but he gave me a steep discount-the entire purchase came to $16, when it should have been at least $25. I was truly touched and awed at the level of service and care I received here. Truth be told; I'm not used to this; I've been going to the big chain pharmacies almost my entire life. I don't think I'm going to bother fighting with my doctor's office and insurance to try and get reimbursed, at least not this time. Next time, I'll have my office send the prescriptions directly to Arrow; in fact, I think I'll have ALL my prescriptions from here on out filled at Arrow. There really are pharmacies where you are greeted promptly and given a high level of care and service, and Arrow is one of them! Thank you, Arrow!
