I use the drive -tru mostly to pick up family scrips and the clerks are very pleasant and helpful. Let's face it, we live in a very conjested area and service takes longer anywhere you go, sometimes depending on when you show up. Otherwise the service is very good. read more

This is a great location for this chain because it is easily accessible and has ample parking spaces in front. The store is kept nice, clean and organized. I do agree that it is well-stocked and they have a good balance of inventory. The staff are friendly. The store manager is a stupid moron and she is very rude. and has no business training. The manger lacks communication with customers and her workers I have heard the workers call her and she never comes down to help. The workers in the store are so lazy and dumb they also need training. The store always smells like crap and if you ask them to help you they never do. If you get photos they always lose it or tell you to call customer service. This CVS is a piece of shit the one in Levittown is so much better and the workers are nice and helpful. WORST pharmacy you will EVER go to! I had used this pharmacy for years, and I had nothing but problems! Every single month, it was something different! Getting the pharmacy on the phone is near impossible, and when confronted about it in person while it was still ringing, I got a "I dont care" shrug! The employees in the pharmacy do not communicate with each other. I used to need one medication with a specific generic! On the phone, they would say its filled with the generic I asked for. I come to pick it up, and it's something else! They will promise to order something and I will find out at a later date it was never ordered. Any special notes they make either never get entered or constantly overlooked! These are not one-time issues. These things are repeated over and over. At the very end, I had medication they were saying was backordered for weeks. This didn't sound right to me, so I called the manufacturer, and they told me there was plenty in stock, and if their supplier orders it, they should get it in several days! I called the pharmacy im with now, they ordered it and it arrived the same day! They will never ever make an exception or go the extra mile for you. Finally, I had enough and ditched them! I decided to try Family RX, which is a family/private pharmacy also in East Meadow! My experience has been night and day! They are amazing! The owners name is Maks, pronounced Max. Hes amazing, and I can't say enough good things about them! He has made several special considerations for me, which CVS would have never done! He will never let you go without your medication, even if he has to give you a few ahead of time! Anything he has to order comes in the same evening every single time! When you call, someone answers after 2 rings! No prompts and options. The owner is personally involved and invested in your needs! They deliver! I can go on and on about how great they are! Wow just called CVS East Meadow they were unable or unwilling to give me information about picking up my Covid medication. Trouble breathing so I wound up apologizing and I didn't understand there was a drive-through or if this was open during their lunch break (which was the only clear message she kept repeating to me) I didn't know they closed the entire pharmacy or if there was no pharmacist to advise. Then told that I was going to be waiting in my car at a drive through which also baffled me and I was told I was interrupting their lunch and she hung up before I could get an explanation. They also advertise delivery which they definitely don't do. But my pharmacy Main Source in Huntington who actually called this in for me because they're amazing and humane, deliver all over Long Island. Switch. I would come here often for all my personal care needs, in my past life of adult times, as my former love resided in this town. Cashiers are attentive to man the long lines during heavy traffic of lunch hours as well as after work rush-hour when patron fulfill their errands. This CVS is well stocked and aisles are organized. There is ample room for patrons to freely roam between aisles. I rate it four stars due to the somewhat inattentive service as I was seeking a gargantuan selection of skin lotion. I needed lotion that would take away the dryness from handling paper on a daily basis, but it were a small selection. read more

This pharmacy has no idea what it means to provide customer service. If I could give them a negative rating, I would. This is not the first time this has happened when I needed their support but it will definitely be the last. I called 4 times today, had to wait on hold at least 30 minutes each time, only to be told incorrect information, which of course, was in between the number of times I was disconnected. I finally get Christine Chu on the phone, who said she was the pharmacy manager, but was absolutely rude and dismissive and was answering other people's questions that were in the store and not responding to the questions asked on the phone. When I asked to speak with a manager, she blew me off and told me to call Julia Van on another day. So much for being your helpful, neighborhood pharmacy. This is the same horrible customer service that you get whether you're in the store or on the drive line. It doesn't matter who you work with either. They're all rude, disrespectful and dismissive to customers. I understand you think you're overworked, and that may be so, but staffing issues should be completely transparent to your customers. I'd go with the nearby Walmart over CVS; the service is about the same but Walmart is significantly cheaper. CVS recently changed their hours from 24 hours to 7 AM to midnight. I frequently run into problems when using the self-checkout because the machine seems to think I'm stealing. I'm not a fan of having to scan a loyalty card and having to use coupons to get a decent price because their regular prices are pretty high. I recently got a 30% off coupon in the mail which I used in the store but that discount probably gets you to about Walmart's regular prices. read more

The location for this CVS is convenient, yet for some reason when I stop in for something like paper, they don't have it. I find myself having to travel to the CVS in Hicksville or right across the street to the Walgreens. Since I stop at Mama Theresas so often though, this pharmacy is the easiest for me. It's well lit, clean, & the staff are always very friendly but they need to stay more on top of being stocked with various items. read more

Place is my go to pharmacy until tonight... Went inside to pick up my prescription and needed my ID due to one of my prescriptions. I handed the girl by accident my wrong ID which just expired like a month ago. She asked for another form of ID which I understand and handed her my regular Drivers Lisence. After the transaction was all said and done you can hear the little snotty girl named "Victoria" from what the receipt say start talking crap about me tried to be quiet but I heard everything she said. I bit my tounge and kept it moving although I wanted to put this little girl in her place. Word of advise if you plan on talking bad about a customer try waiting when they aren't still standing at the counter. I have had multiple unpleasant experiences at this CVS location. Even though this location is close and convenient I will NOT be returning. I went to this CVS earlier today around 8:30 PM. There was only one employee working in the ENTIRE store. You would think they would have more people to work on Saturday night, but anyways his name tag said "TOM/manager", however he did not behave like a manager at all. I have never seen any employee/manager raise his voice at customers and handle a busy store the way he did. One customer was having issues with the photo printer, another customer was having issues with the regular printer and there was a line of customers waiting for check out. He obviously couldn't help everybody at once, so customers were growing inpatient and that's when he raised his voice. I understand he was the only one there, but maybe they should just hire more people instead of yelling at customers. Some customers even walked out because the wait was too long. There was also an issue with my transaction. I was buying 6 Pantene for $24 and it was also part of a promotion when you spend $30 you get $10 back. Even though I met all the requirements I did not receive the $10. After going back and forth with the cashier, I did not get $10 back because THEIR EMPLOYEES tagged the wrong items on the shelves. The one employee working refused to honor the price that THEY put on the shelf and really did not do much to help me either. From now on I will drive to the Hicksville or Westbury CVS location, which both have much better service and better staff. read more

The store itself has a great & convenient location, HOWEVER, both the staff and items simply suck! The store is a very small cvs, and theyre serioisly lacking variety. I can still "deal" with all that, but the store is managed and staffed by assholes! Everytime I go to any cvs, the first thing I do is scan my cvs card & check for coupons. I had recieved a 30% off my total via email, which of course inspired me to buy more stuff. When I got to the store it was a little late, around 8:30-9pm and I had my 2 year old with me. By the time I got to the register with all my stuff, my daugher was very tired, cranky and just ready to go home. As the cashier started scanning my things I told him I had a 30% off my total coupon on my phone from my email. He asked me to show him so he can scan it, but it was a code not the kind of coupon you scan. There was no barcode. BUT it did clearly state that it can be used in store, it wasnt expiredvand all I needed to do was present it to my cashier for discount. The cashier gave me such a hard time, saying if theres no barcode he wont accept it, so of course I asked for the manager. By the time he came to me, there were about 5 people behind me & my daughter went from cranky to screaming crying. The jerkoff manager came over and said... "If theres no barcode on the coupon then Im not taking it" and walked away! I was beyond livid bc all these guys need to do is push a button, let me pay & leave....when he told me hes not doing it, I said " Then Im NOT leaving"! If I didnt absolutely need milk & wipes for my kid, I wouldve just left & used it another time. But why the hell should I have to pay full price for anything when I had 30% off from corperate?!?! I literally stood there staring ay the manager. My daughter is screammmming crying, now theres like 10 people behind me, and FINALLY the cashier looks at him and says, can I just give her the discount? The managr replys "Fine, I will just get in trouble for this and probably get fired"...lol, get fired? Really dude?! Lol, how unnecessary and dramatic...whatever, I got my discount. The cashier actually said he had to discount each individual item and did the math on his cell phone. When I got home I looked at my receipt and at the bottom it said "total discount 29%" Hahahaha...I can only laugh at stuff like this! read more

Unfortunately, I stop at this cvs on my way home from work at least once a week. Since I'm always on the run, it's convenient but this cvs is small and doesn't stock much variety. The front parking lot is tiny and around 6pm it's packed. Most nights I see a cranky cashier (brown hair, chubby, white) and she puts me in a bad mood since she talks to other employees while she's ringing me up. I've had to interrupt her conversation to tell her one of my coupons didn't go through. She was not a happy camper. Overall, two stars. read more
