Pharmacy that doesn't care about its customers. My mother waited a long time for her prescription. I was on the phone with her while on break. Pharmacist acted like he didn't want to call pharmacy for a transfer and told her to come back the next day. She waited anyway because it was urgently needed and they kept telling her it would probably be best to come back the next day. it wasn't until after she left that they finally put it in. The staff was rude, uncaring, and unprofessional. I wouldn't get my fish's prescription from here. read more

Extremely rude staff!!!! I came in to do an instacart order for an inhaler and staff refused to tell me if it was in pharmacy or where to get it. The front staff came to help me and they actually do have inhalers at the register and in pharmacy. It would have been so simple for pharmacy staff to tell me that instead of shutting the window on me and saying go up front for help. read more

This location is woefully understaffed. I waited more than 20 minutes in the drive through pharmacy line and then sat at the window for 40 minutes before i was able to pick up my prescription. I had to give my name and DOB twice before anything happened. There is no way to call and actually speak to a pharmacist, it automatically redirects to voicemail. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

Worst pharmacy. Employees are awful at the pharmacy. I've had issues before but today topped all of them. I've had a prescription on back order for 2 weeks. They were supposed to reach out in 2 days of our being out of stock to let me know the status... It's been 2 weeks. It's medicine for my thyroid which I've had removed due to cancer, medicine I need everyday for my body to function normally. I ended in being in PA so I checked in with the CVS there and they have it in stock! They just needed me to cancel the one in progress at this location. Well apparently they started some automated phone system that says somebody will call you back in the next 3 or so hours and to leave a message. I contacted the front desk and explained the situation that I was only going to be at this other CVS for the next hour or two and needed the medication from them. They put me through to the pharmacy and a woman answered, who I also explain the situation to, she refused and insisted that I needed to call back and use the automated system and wait for a call back in the next several hours, or come in. When I explained the situation again saying I needed this medicine and why and that I was in PA she again refused and then hung up on me! I then had my boyfriend go to the pharmacy for me whithin the next 20 minutes to do it in person since I am desperate for this medicine. I spoke to the gentleman that helped him and he apologized and said that lady should have been able to cancel it for me. I asked who the woman was that hung up on me and was so extremely rude to me (wanted to file a complaint against her, which I never do), so he asked the few women there who it was. They all denied it! So not only is this person a straight up awful employee but also a horrible person & liar. read more

Worst pharmacy ever they made me wait 1hr and half just to say i could get in myself kept making me come back over and over it was some bs

f I could offer zero stars I would, most particularly for this CVS, but also for the chain as a whole at this point. I almost never write a negative review, if that gives any indication of how upset I am. In recent history, I've gone to a CVS located in a Target where the pharmacy never returned from lunch and neither Target nor CVS provided any explanation, had my medications confirmed as ready only to be told upon arrival that they had no prescription, etc etc. The inability to speak to a pharmacy rep directly due to the voicemail system makes communication even more egregious. Now, my poor dog has been having a lot of health issues and needed a lung medication transferred from a veterinary hospital. I put the transfer request to this pharmacy location online, only to get a follow up that there was a problem and to call. I call, except of course you have to leave a voicemail, which I do. I get a call back hours later and place my order again, providing the veterinary phone number. They told me they'd have to order this medicine. I called today to check on this prescription, which he ideally needed today. I was forced to leave a voicemail again, only this time I received no call back after 5 hours. I went to the pharmacy to follow up directly. They couldn't find the order, had no transfer, and hadn't ordered the medicine. They called the other pharmacy, who had closed by then, and told me they couldn't do anything if the pharmacy didn't answer. I explained again that I had spoken to this CVS pharmacy yesterday, and followed up today, I.e. during business hours for the other pharmacy, receiving no return call. They pretty much told me it was on me, made no plans to remedy it, and I was left without the medication. They've lost my business entirely at this point. read more

Do Not EVER use this pharmacy. I waited in the drive thru for 40mins and came inside to wait another 30. No exaggeration at all. The woman at the front desk is causally walking around like there's not a line full of people waiting. They do not have enough people working here. read more

Just your regular day-to-day CVS pharmacy. Went in to pick up some of my mother-in-law's prescribed medicine. Pharmacist was polite, friendly, answered all of her questions with patience and was knowledgeable. We also bought a few items and took advantage of their sales. Made an appointment for a Covid test for 3:40. Currently 10 minutes past my scheduled appointment and 5 cars deep. This is the most inefficient drive thru testing I've ever seen. Other CVS locations have one lane exclusively for testing and another lane for pharmacy pickup. While I realize they can't just create another lane out of thin air, perhaps adhere to the schedule and not allow folks who are more than 5 minutes late to hold things up for those who do arrive on time. Location in Forest Hill was very quick, wish they had an opening or I wouldn't be waiting here. read more

Avoid the pharmacy at this store. Terrible customer service. The staff looks busy but ignore waiting customers. My doctor call in a prescription to the store. I went to pick up the prescription and was told they had not gotten a call from my doc. Rather than offering to call my doctor on my behalf, they told me to call the doctor and come back later. I had my doc call the CVS in Target in Abingdon. 20 minutes later the Abingdon store called me to tell me my prescription was ready. Go to the CVS in Target in Abingdon. read more

Phew this place really makes you appreciate rite aid. Hours are incorrect and half the time there is nobody in the pharmacy. Had to come back 4 DIFFERENT TIMES FOR ONE PRESCRIPTION. When we got there, had to wait over 30 minutes in the line. This place is completely unprofessional and it's amazing more people don't complain about this. read more

Generally over-priced pharmacy giant. Protein bars nearly twice Target's price. Travel size items 50% more. Be sure to use your loyalty card to get a little price relief. And no trash can! read more
