When I went in to pick up the prescription there was nobody in line and about 7 employees working. I stood there waiting for somebody to help me check out for at least 8 minutes. I was the only one standing there and they ignored me. Finally when another customer walked up, 2 people came up to help both of us. I realize they were busy but why did it take another person to walk up before I got the service I needed? The young gentleman that helped me was very rude and mean. Is this really how you guys treat your customers? Wow. I will not be getting my prescriptions filled there anymore. I have always shopped in there and the store staff is great. Not so good in the prescription department. I think you should reevaluate your staff back there and give them a speech about what good customer service truly is. These days with alot of businesses shutting down, I don't think you can afford to be rude to customers.

Service is fast as they seem to be well staffed and very efficient on the computer when checking insurance coverage. Feels more professional then a 'drug store' with less waiting and since the prices are set by the insurance co, you are not paying a premium for better service. I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately I've been extremely disappointed. One of my meds they told me they do not have in stock and will not be ordering it. When I asked why not or if they'd ever order it they said not many of their patients request it. Other times when I've asked about it they said there is often a shortage because it's being over-prescribed which seems like the opposite issue then no one needing it. Still they never offered to carry it so I had to go to a separate pharmacy just for that med. My other meds became more expensive at Edmonds Pharmacy than the other pharmacies so I ended up transitioning them elsewhere. There is never a notification of meds being ready via text/phone or any other method so sometimes I'd go and they'd not have gotten the order or they had something waiting for me for a long time that I didnt know they filled. Today was the last straw though, I tested positive for Covid after having severe symptoms and wanted to get the prescription for Paxlovid filled nearby but when the provider contacted Edmonds Pharmacy they were told that they don't carry Paxlovid. My provider called me shocked and told me it was unbelievable they dont carry this of all things. Please think about the community you're serving and re-evaluate the decision to carry meds your customers are requesting.

There is a world of difference between these two pharmacies! Edmonds Family Pharmacy is always friendly, prompt and texts me about my prescription being ready, even before I've contacted them for a refill! They are on top of their game and I would give them ten stars, if possible! The other benefit is that I like supporting smaller local businesses. Staff is friendly and are excellent at handling a high volume environment quickly and efficiently. Unfortunately I must recommend forgoing all prescriptions at this Walgreen's location for fear you may encounter Halle L. Yesterday I called 3 times to get automated updates. First one told me scripts would be ready at 11:30am. Second update was they'd be ready by 2pm. Third update said by 6:30pm. I arrived at the drive-thru at 7:30pm (30 minutes before close). The assistant told me the scripts weren't ready and to come back in 15 minutes. I drove up to the window again at 7:46pm. Assistant told me they still weren't ready and to come back again in 15 (more) minutes, which, by then, would be after close at 8pm. I told her I would just wait there, thank you. Unprofessional "pharmacist", Halle L. got on the drive-thru phone and told me no one is allowed to, "block my driveway". I replied with, "I am not blocking anyone's driveway. There is no one behind me and you close in 12 minutes. If a car pulls up behind me, I will drive around, as is standard protocol." She then told me, "I have the authority to refuse service to anyone and I will not fill your prescriptions today." Up until then I was calm and understanding - even after waiting all day and yes, being told to come back, "in 15 minutes..". I asked her if she was serious. After she affirmed, I told her she was a miserable human being. I didn't yell, rather stated the fact in a less calm tone, maintaining volume control. If you want professional and prompt customer service, do NOT go to Walgreens and I warn you, stay away from Halle L.
